Apricot Brunch + Bar in Fylde

We’re regulars here and enjoy the food - usually breakfast / brunch. Food is always good and service is laid back. Today however we visited for the first time in a few months and noticed a real decline. Service was inattentive - no spoon for overnight oats, no butter for toast - no sorry - just a ‘no worries’. Toilet was dirty and smelled of urine. Paper all over floor - no soap in soap dispenser. When we let the staff know we got another ‘no worries’, when some kind of apology would have been ideal. Our table was also dirty with coffee stains on it - despite this being the one we were showed to. Food today was as good as always but the absence of any implements to eat it with, no offer of condiments and having to stand up to go and get the bill is a little bit too far towards ‘don’t care’ rather than laid back service.

Had a lovely lunch here. The food might be a little pricier than other places but really is a cut above - a bit different and lovingly prepared. The young waiter was great too. Not sure of his name but he worked Monday lunch. Some of the tables might be a bit too close together if the place was full, but it was fine. Nice that dogs are welcome :)

Amazing service from Grace, food was quick and both me and my family thoroughly enjoyed our time here. I highly recommend it, we will definitely be returning!

Been meaning to go for a while but was slightly disappointed with the price of food, we found it very expensive for what we got. However the environment was very nice and our server Grace was friendly.

Came to Apricot for a solo breakfast. My server was lovely and attentive from the start. Caramel iced latte was to die for. I got the bacon Benedict to eat and it was delicious, I cleared my plate. Interior is stunning and everything matches well. Will definitely make a return trip, thankyou :)

A really nice venue with a good brunch concept. The coffee and overnight oats were great and seemed to be a popular choice that day. Unfortunately the sausages on the breakfast were underdone and had to be left. As there were only 2 members of staff waiting on, we were unable to get their attention to resolve despite trying. Appreciate discounting this from the bill but it would be good to see more waiting on to support with food checks/more drinks. Overall a great cafe though with good potential!

I order takeaway regular here. The food is amazing (feels healthy) it doesn’t taste oily and you don’t feel sluggish after a meal. Quality is amazing. The drinks (Smoothies) are really good. Staff always polite and accommodating. 100% our regular go to place!

Never visited before but saw it was dog friendly so stopped for a quick lunch time snack. Good menu and fabulous service by Debs. Would highly recommend

Love the food here and the coffee, so many yummy ones to choose, but love the cappuccino. I have tried a few of the different dishes, they have a excellent selection and none have disappointed, the have all been delicious. The vibe of the whole place is so refreshing, the plants at the front set up the whole tone for our visit. Thank you Debbie for your help & advice with ordering and excellent service. We will be returning 😊

I visited with an elderly lady, made to feel welcome, good food and our visit was made better by Debbie who went out of her way to assist the needs of my elderly friend. Well worth a visit

A lovely day out in Lytham with my dog & I came across Apricot which is dog friendly. I just fancied a little snack & a coffee so ordered loaded fries & a cappuccino, the friendly staff made me feel very welcome as lone guest & gave my dog a treat and water bowl. The food & coffee arrived promptly despite the venue being busy and was piping hot. All the staff were smiling and kept checking that I was fine. Sometimes it's difficult to go in to a cafe/restaurant alone but Apricot staff were an asset to them team and made me feel extremely welcome. Thank You.

Visited on the Easter weekend and glad we booked as it was pretty busy! The staff, including our server Abi, were really friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. We both had the vegan full English and enjoyed the twist they put on it. Would definitely visit again.

We spent Sunday in Lytham and as my wife was getting tired we went into the Apricot brunch bar for a drink.What a delightful place,Debs could not have been more helpful and friendly,so we will definitely make sure that next time we are in Lytham we will visit Apricot again.

This was my third visit and I think it will be my last . The lunch menu is seriously limited as far as vegetarian options are concerned and HUGELY overpriced . A cheese toastie came with the biggest pile of crisps - half the plate - and a few leaves . No imagination , no colour . Portion sizes are often too big almost to compensate for lack of variety and imagination.

Ate here with friends and was our first visit. I booked a table and we were given a booth. It's lovely inside and the staff were friendly. We all ordered something different - salad, pancake and a toastie. All really well presented, good portion sizes and very tasty! A little slow to clear the table, but only a very minor point! I would definitely return.
