Ordered a buffet from Appleyards for a 21st birthday party at the weekend and I cannot fault any of it 🤩 Well presented, amazing value for money & best of all everyone really enjoyed the food 😋 Thank you so much it was perfect, will definitely be ordering again! Highly recommend 😊

Lovely fresh food every time we’ve visited. Plenty to choose from on the menu at a decent price. The staff are always friendly and provide service with a smile.

Gorgeous hot and cold sandwiches, and a delicious selection of cakes. Also great pies and sausages rolls! Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Absolute gem of a shop.

Went in for a breakfast sandwich on 2nd a jan, sausage spam n beans. Sausages looked like they were cooked before new year n warmed up. Spam was nice, how i like it, beans were alright too. Didnt taste like cheap bits of rubber. Bread was quite nice. Wouldnt have had an egg either, looked farl. Salad smelt lovely though, coming from the counter. All in all. Wouldnt pay 4.65 for a sandwich from there again. Wont be a returning customer if this is all i could eat tbh.

Stopped off here on our travels in S75 setting up our Premium Bouncy Castles at a local event. Quality service fast & tasty only ordered the Cheese Salad Sarnie & the rockie choc cake OMG proper flavours. Good value. Nice little cafe!! Back again soon xx

Nice cafe good service excellent food

I thought I would order a sandwich for my lunch. Asked for a prawn and crab.... no crab just prawn the lady behind the counter stated. So I opted for prawn me thinking it would be in a sauce oh no dry as a nuns whatsit if I wanted dry prawns on bread I would have made my own... Yes I've had my own Sandwich shop too.. and would have been so embarrassed to serve a sandwich like I purchased 😕 Put me off I won't visit again Very disappointed 😞

Oh my goodness me what a find in a lovely village, we sat in at the Ginnel cafe part of Appleyards sandwich shop. Very friendly staff! Service was great and the food was amazing 😍

Today I fancied a salad so popped in on the way home. Ended up without one for a simple reason, lady that works there(lovely btw)yes she washed her hands,but:used cloth towel to dry them,had ring on her finger and went for cut veg without gloves!!!she dipped in lettuce and I couldn't believe my eyes as then she proceeded to sliced tomatoes,still no glove,ring on finger!!!! I had to stop her there and explain that I won't be purchasing this salad as it's unhygienic plus ring can gather bacteria as well(I didn't even mentioned fingernails etc). Look,I am just after cancer,my immune system is still not 100% and am not risking it just because staff can't be bothered with using either gloves or utensils!!!! Also,I've spotted on top of the counter some lovely sweet treats(cookies of some sort)partially UNCOVERED!!! And some flies around it to which the same lady waved hands to... Do I sound unreasonably? Or is it just basic hygien rules that hasn't been followed???? If it's me wanting too much then please tell me but,working in f&b(food and beverage)for decades(including kitchen)I'd say I know thing or two... Today is meant to be little treat,lazy day with food...

My Wife said the sandwich was good but my quiche tasted of nothing!
