We had never been here before but the pub was a great find. The staff were really friendly and were very helpful. The is a good selection of drinks and they are resonably priced. You could definitely book for an occasion as it is much bigger than it appears. Lovely pub.

This Pub is quiet and pleasant.... given a chance would be a great family place Spacious,the toilets are clean there's little play area for the little ones to be entertained and the staff are friendly

Have visited this pub quite often over the years as it is quite local for us.Dont think we will again as the whole place needs either a good clean ir painting done.Beer garden quite scruffy.Doesn't incite you to stay

We went for food because we heard about new management and good reviews we walked in and walked out first impression front door totally dishevelled needs changing or painting got into pub faced with kids toys and kids zooming around with toys I have my own children grown up now but don't expect to walk through door of pub faced with kids zooming round with toys looked round clientele I'm afraid I didn't feel comfortable won't go again can't understand who is reviewing such good comments

Feel £3.25 for 1/2 pint lemonade rip off pint cide only £3.75 ??? .Marston as pub chain need to get a grip, and wonder why pubs are closing. Over priced.

I had been here a few times previously, it wasn't a bad place. But the clientele weren't for me, so I didn't go back after a few Friday/Saturday visits. It has since changed hands and for a Saturday night, I felt really family oriented, they got a singer on last minute at request they really do go out their way for their customers. New management are great felt like a proper community pub, thoroughly enjoyed the night. And they do a cracking Guinness, next up is trying the food.

Cannot fault the food , very well presented, hot and tasty.The menu is different than most other pubs in the area so it makes a refreshing change ,10 out of 10 for the mixed grill.

Great pub! Food is great (steaks in particular). Drinks are reasonable price and nice coffees too. Nice atmosphere for families. Functions are really good here and well catered for. Looks like the bingo has loads of fun on a Tuesday and it’s a great game of poker (Redtooth) from 8pm on a Tuesday too. Only £5 buy in it’s a great night.

My niece is leaving to get married in America and so we came back here as a large group to have one final meal together. So glad we did the service even with a large group was great and the meal and pudding were spot on. The new management here have really sorted this place out so it's well worth stopping here now for a meal. Keep up the good work guys and thank you for making our evening so great.

Absolutely fantastic pub! Had a bit of a wait for food but was worth the wait! I had Moving Mountain Vegan burger, it was delicious!! The pub is clean and modern. The staff were very nice, friendly and pleasant. I would definitely recommend this pub to all.

Visit for weekly poker night (Tuesday at 8pm if anyone interested) staff are always accommodating and cheerful. Laurie and Darren great people to be served by. Food is great also!

Not over impressed with the main meal. On the good side problems were sorted with out fuss though I feel they should not of been there in the first place. The pudding though was awesome and there was clean bowls all around.

Empty plates all round, steak medium rare cooked to perfection.

Arrived about 6pm,walked in looking for a table for 5, 1 kid sat in a booth for 6 plugged into a tablet with no adults with him, he was there for our entire 2 hour stay,1 table reserved and another with no occupants but reserved with coats and bags. Kids running riot booting a football around,the strong smell of weed wafting through from outside. Got a table and sat down.

I visited the Apple Tree in with 2 other adults and 2 young children for their family carnival on bank holiday Monday.

On arrival ordered food. After 10 minutes was told they didn't have the food available so we ordered something else only to be told they didn't have that either. Member of staff thought it was funny. Won't be going back there again.

What a lovely place to chill and have fun on a special occasion. The food is great and a good deal and the pudding is to die food very yummy indeed. Laurie was brilliant and made us feel really welcome and glad that we came here. Thanks guys we will be back.

Once a lovely pub, a friendly place for locals to unwind after work or before a night on the town. Since the new manager has taken over she has torn apart the Coseley local. After banning 90% of the regular customers sometimes for fair reason other times because they don’t conform to her wanted customer base for no other reason than to discriminate against people from the local area. She has managed to crush a loving community local. And in turn pushed away other customers that only went for that sense of community. A shocking display of management, business acumen and general people skills. The sooner she’s out the better!

We go in most Friday night's finding just lately the pub empty because it more like a play ground to many kids allowed to run round, this is why pub empty kids shouldn't be allowed in after 9 or get parents to control them or staff to tell them to take control of there children shame really because could be nice pub

Went there yesterday at about 3pm for Sunday lunch. The frozen roast potatoes were not cooked and I left them on the plate cut in half so the staff could easily see. The peas and carrots were from a tin. The two Yorkshire puddings were as flat as pancakes and were limp when picked up. The gravy left a greasy film not only on the fork while I was eating but also on the roof of my mouth. Not once were we asked if the food was to our satisfaction. We left with the idea that we would not return there again. We had eaten there many times before and had always been happy with the food and service. It was the first time of ordering the Sunday though! At around 7.30 I was suddenly hit by a wave of nausea. By 8pm I was throwing up. I was sick about 20 times between then and 10am this morning. I also had a bit of a slight headache, and a bad stomach. I’ve slept on and off and haven’t quite made it out the bed yet, resulting in a day off work. I feel somewhat better, but still have stomach cramps, a bit of an headache and aches in my legs, knees and back and just slight nausea. Which believe me is better than I felt between 7.30 last night and 12.10pm today. Never again am I going back to feel like that again.

Very disappointed in the manger of the apple tree i parked my car on the car park and she come over shouting her mouth off about where i parked it she thinks she runs the world but shes a greebo and sticks the gaf out SYMT!!!

We'd given up on this pub about 2 years back. Beer and food had gone downhill. It had recently been refurbished and we thought over the Christmas break, that we'd give it another try.

Teasha and the team were fantastic. Really enjoyed our food, I had the fish and chips which was hot and delicious. The staff made you feel welcome and the atmosphere was great. Would definitely recommend!

Came in here for a meal and a few drinks with some friends and family. The place has recently been refurbished and is now a lot more comfortable and contemporary than it was before. We all each ordered 2 - 3 courses and drinks. The service was very speedy and the food was delicious. The menu is pretty extensive and beats many standard pub menu’s. Our evening was very pleasant and enjoyable and we will definitely be returning.

Visited the site for their fun day on bank holiday and wow what an amazing day fun for all of the family and really cheap food and drinks food was fantastic and drinks were all served by the manager and staff which were all friendly and make us feel welcome every time we come she’s really turning the pub around thanks everyone from the Apple Tree

I came in when pub is opened during renovation works,yet pub is clean, tasty meal ,made the best of the special offer,good sized meal, friendly staff make sure you mention there daily special when you order.

This is a pub I go to once a week for a meal. Over the years it has changed hands so many times. Over the last two months the furniture has got better and it has been cleaned up to make it more welcoming. The rough element of folk visiting the pub has been told to go away, so at lunch time at least it is good to go in on my own and get a good meal. I know entertainment happens in the evening, but I am not interested in this. So go and give it a try.

And nice pub good food not very many people people in very friendly staff been using it now for number of years and good value for money deafly recommend it

we meet up every 6 weeks or so for a catch up with old work friends, we feel at home as been going there for years, the staff are always polite, and the food has always been to our satisfaction.

Fifteen of us went here for our Christmas friends meal and the food was lovely and even though the choices were different among us the food came out roughly the same time. Some of the dishes seemed a little small though others were spot on. Staff were lovely and made sure we were OK and that all was good. Would of been nice to of sat as one group rather than two but that never stopped us having a good time

Food leaves a lot to be desired chips where rock hard and adults meals just slightly above a child's clean and tidy but food I'd give a miss

Ate here with my partner as a quick pit stop as we were starving. However as I require gluten free I had to call before hand, the women on the phone was very friendly and helpful.

A quick visit for tea. Greeted by the manager with a very friendly welcome with him remembering us from previous recent visits. Food ordered and arrived very quickly. All staff extremely helpful and accomodating. Kyle our waiter was very attentive. When it was time for us to leave, Kyle also helped my mother to the car offering her is arm to help her walk with her walking stick. Absolutely lovely for a young man to help a lady in need. Thank you Kyle, keep up the good work and you will go far. This really did add the personal touch. Will definitely return again soon. Thank you very much to you all.

Popped in to have quick bite to eat.was greeted by friendly staff. Ordered food which came very quickly and wasn't too bad in price. Overall food was nice. The only problem is the decor which really needs an update as it looked dirty and dates.

I got beef madras that was still FROZEN, Ladies toilets full of poo and a manager that couldn't care less. I got a new hot curry and a dose of the runs.... Go here at your peril...

I went to the Apple Tree based on Trip Advisor reviews. Not a great decision - the decor is OLD and tired. To be fair, the staff on the bar and table service are fine, nice friendly people. HOWEVER - I ordered Beef Madras with half and half rice and chips - sounds nice..... fresh naan bread, crispy chips, fluffy rice, FROZEN curry - AAAAAAgh! The beef was still FROZEN in the middle. I suffered a bad stomach for 12 hours. My daughter had lasagna which was SO under seasoned, it had next to no taste. I got a replacement curry, it was OK but nothing to write home about. My daughter went to the Ladies and had to wait for a slot as 3 toilets had faeces floating in the bowl. When she challenged the Manager about it, he said I've told my boss, but not sure if it's going to be fixed soon. Good answer if you want to keep your customers. I have no idea what standards the other reviewers have, but for your health's sake AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I am NOT exaggerating.

Hemos estado viniendo a la Apple Tree cada miércoles para almorzar con mi familia en los últimos quince años, el personal siempre ha sido muy amable, tenemos una gran variedad de comidas y puedo decir honestamente que el 90% del tiempo son muy buenos, no en ningún otro sitio.

Nunca me sentí tan repelidas, estoy tan indignado después de encontrar un pequeño n rizado en la parte inferior de mi pastel! ! !

A la llegada de la mesa era todavía ser limpiado, pero como este trabajo de cepillado en la industria alimentaria yo sé que es imposible conseguir todo hecho a la vez. Estaba impactada que no sirven como una opción de Malibu bebida. La comida estaba bien, sin embargo, había una mosca que circunda el mesa que nos sentamos en la que aterrizó en el envoltorio de mi kebab en un punto. Aparte de eso, una agradable atmósfera agradable. Buen lugar para ir. :)

Después de leer algunas críticas, a decir que no era especialmente esperaba mucho era insuficiente. Howvever me sorprendió gratamente. La comida estaba caliente y sabrosa, el servicio era amable, especialmente cuando me permitieron la tarta que habían comprado para la cumpleañera, se cortó y comimos como un flan (trayendo platos y un cuchillo de la mesa). No todas las cosas estaban disponibles desde el menú (sin patatas o jalapeños), pero aparte de eso volvería.

Fuimos el domingo 20 de marzo para el almuerzo con mi mujer y mi hija. Tuvimos que esperar 40 minutos para que llegara nuestra comida. Mi hija había pedido Los cazadores pollo que, según el menú se suponía que iba a haber una pechuga de pollo, o estaba media pechuga o desde un bantam ciertamente no una pechuga de pollo completamente opción. Yo había pedido el Lite Bite cazadores pollo que supuestamente era media pechuga de pollo sin duda, esto fue menos de un cuarto de la mama. En ambas comidas la salsa barbacoa se secó y el pollo y las patatas fritas eran demasiado cocido. Mi esposa se había pescado y patatas fritas, que a su vez había sido recocido. Tuve también quería una pinta de bancos bitter pero el frío glacial no estaba disponible.

i went with my partner and our child and we really enjoyed it the food was amazing and the service was great they really mad us feel welcome and we would love to keep going there with the rest of the family this time so they can see what its like that food food is really nice and that its not that expensive and the food for the kids are great to so many thing for them to choose from we loved it so much and defo will go again

I was disappointed when ordering a bowl of curly fries as a snack at 8.15pm to have with a drink with a few friends to be informed that the kitchen was closed despite the menu stating take out should be available till 11pm.

Went here on a saturday lunch time with a mate as in the area. The weather was decent so took advantage of the beer garden.We ordered a shared platter. Nothing special. Just wedges, mushrooms garlic bread etc. The inside was a bit of a mess. Bits of food on the floor and the staff wernt really talkative and felt more of a inconvenience when speaking to them.Food arrived and was immediately disappointed. The plate was swimming in grease. On top of that the food was cold yet the salad part looked like it been under a heater for some time. I would have complained about the food but finding a member of staff would have been a challenge in its self.For the price of £7.00 compared to the portion, you cant complain YET the quility of the food was very poor. Ive been here before for a drink and was disappointed by other customers food. I should had expected the food to be bad.I can happily confirm i won't be going back there for food again.

called in around 6.30 last wednesday .ordered gammon egg & chips ,&hunters chicken &chips although the pub was fairly empty it took almost an hour to be served our food . when it finally arrived ,it was fairly inedible .- not worth complaining to be offered a replacement would never eat there again .only went because the hungry horse was closed for refurb. roll on 29th when it reopens !

We've been here loads of times and it seems to be going down hill. Ordered the mixed grill and I think a chisel and hammer would of been better to eat it with rather than a steak knife. The chips were undercooked and the sausage was that raw it may as well of had the pigs tail still attached to it

I use this pub when visiting my mother in Coseley and we have never had a bad lunchtime meal. My mom really enjoys the steak & Ale pie and I always have the 8oz rump steak. It's always cooked perfectly and it served with proper home made chips, 1/2 tomato and peas.I've eaten at some high classed steak houses and never tasted steak like this.

When we moved to Coseley, we wanted a family orientated pub as we had a small baby. This fitted the bill and we go every so often for a meal.My husband never has anything but the burgers. I've tried them too and must agree they are rather good.On our last visit I tried the chicken burger. 2 very large pieces of chicken. Too big for me so my husband had some too.The menu has changed a few times recently and they no longer do some of the food deals.However the beer has improved. My husband is am ale drinker and says they keep a good pint there these days.Ambience in the pub is average. 1 half is very dark. The other is ok and quite light. Staff are quite friendly and on a couple of occasions have let our now 16 month old play with a couple of their toys. Really nice of them.As a local pub its a good pub. It's not going to knock your socks off, but its not trying to.

We entered the pub wasn't overly busy but with only one person working out front it was more than they could handle!!I ordered sausages and mash which was served with onion gravy and peas carrots and green beans... Only we received mash, sausages and peas?? What happened to the rest of the meal??? And the gravy had no onions???I had the finger lickin combo only it was way overly sauced with hardly any food for 6 quid!! Waste of money.The burger looked good though!Upon ordering drinks the glass I had had lipstick on and all the barmaid was poor the drink into another glass?? How unhygienic?? I asked for a different drink and she did give me one!!We waited 40 minutes for our food?? Very long as we were the first and only ones to have ordered food!!We won't return again!
