Perfect place for breakfast or fast lunch. I would recommend to try any of their sandwiches, they are truly yummy.

Lovely coffee, cakes, sandwiches and soups served here. It is always busy -but you are not expected to leave quickly. There is no bathroom- which is a bit annoying.

Having accepted my order for decaf tea they then decided they couldn't do decaf tea. They had already taken my contactless so they refunded me in cash. Very odd. Not very good.

I was on my way to visit the Twinings Museum in Strand Road and when it was found temporarily closed then I discovered this surprisingly cozy and friendly cafe next door. Had my breakfast there. Really friendly staff. Right across the street, it is 'The Royal Courts of Justice'. Nice view and good food. Recommended!

On a walk over Tower Bridge, then past The Tower of London, there is a small coffee shop called Apostrophe. We stopped for coffee and a lovely smartie filled cookie Very nice

I had no more than twenty minutes to spare before an appearance in that part of the Royal Courts of Justice known as the Bear Garden where High Court Masters sniff, maul then strike out dodgy claims. I recognised a fairly large proportion of those rapidly consuming baguettes (toasted or otherwise) bowls of soups or the stew du jour with rice as m'learned friends enjoying a quick break from or even a debriefing with their clients. I chose a gammon and emmental baguette and ordered a double espresso before struggling to find an empty chair either in rows by the windows or on high stools behind wooden benches. I followed these with a particularly tasty pot de yoghurt with blackberries. A moment for quiet reflection before the mauling by my opponent and eventual striking out by the Master of my colleague's flawed malicious prosecution claim.

What lovely people they are in here, so helpful, the rolls looked so great we both chose one, I had ham and emmenthal cheese and my friend cheese and tomato. We agreed the bread was gorgeous and 3 cups each from our seemingly limitless little teapots. And that view, how could you better that. A cold miserable day enlivened by this lovely little experience

From our hotel at Fleet stret, this cafe was reached in just a short walk. We ordered porridge with honey and dry fruit, carrot juice and big mugs of coffee. All was most delicious. Nice staff and nice to sit by the window.

We stumbled across this place as a couple with a pregnant woman needing a sit and some breakfast and we couldn't have found a better spot. The view out of the mammoth window was of the beautiful architecture of The Royal Courts of Justice and the warmth of the barrista/head waiter brought a smile to a weary, grumpy pregnant me. I didn't catch the gentleman's name but he had a triangular patch of hair by his neck which should make him stand out - he was a joy! perfect porridge and a lovely selection of items to eat which were very reasonably priced (especially considering both the location and the quality/size).I would come here again and bring others with me - having never been into this chain before I was very impressed.

We stumbled across this little restaurant during a short trip to London. It was a Saturday lunchtime and amazingly quiet although I doubt it would have been during the working week - it's opposite the Law Courts. The staff were so nice and courteous and the food was just what we wanted after an enormous cooked breakfast. We shared a bacon and brie ciabatta roll and a Greek salad. With a soft drink and a coffee it came to £13.30, excellent value for central London. We liked the little touches too like 'help yourself' jugs of water with ice and lemon and the availability of quality newspapers.

During a recent visit to London, we stopped by apostrophe and found this to be a very good patisserie / coffee shop for a quick and light bite to eat in the morning. This was a place that would make regular visits to if we lived in the area. We tried a Coconut Macaroon (£1.80), which was quite firm, compacts coconut shavings with a crispy outside crust. We felt this was a bit too hard but it tasted nice (rating 3.25 of 5). We also tried the Chocolate Twist (£2.20), which was moist and made up of a lightly jammy middle and loads of chocolate pellets that made this into a much enjoyed bite to eat (3.5 of 5). We also shared a large Hot Chocolate (£2.95) that is a massive cup of thick and rich, hot chocolate. This was a nice traditional drink, with nice cocoa taste, not too sweet. Drink was very nice, plenty for two people to share. Overall, we found apostrophe to be a very nice place for a quick breakfast, afternoon snack or drink. Food products seemed of higher quality than what you can expect to find the in the classic franchises like Starbucks, Cafe Nero and Costa.

I just popped in here for a smoothie, and judging by the pictures of smoothies all over the front windows, assumed I had gone to the right place. I asked for a smoothie menu, to be told that they have two smoothies, one tropical, one berry. I chose the tropical and it was actually delicious (juice based, not yogurt based, for anyone who's interested!) I would have liked more variety though.

We walked into this place off the street at breakfast time, never having seen it before.I had a heated croissant with cheese and ham, which was nice, but pretty much exactly what it would be elsewhere and slightly on the expensive side. The stand out here is the selection of freshly squeezed juices on top of the counter. Almost worth coming just for these. I had pear and my wife orange - both very nice.If I'm passing and need something, I wouldn't have a problem coming back here.

we visited this place one Saturday afternoon after sightseeing around, wanted to warm up and relax, the cafe is small but there was plenty seats and at that time of day wasnt to full. coffee was really tasty and perfect temp, food also looked good, the only concern we had was one of the staff member, a tall very skinny guy from we guessed eastern europe who appeared to be totally drunk at work. he was really aggressive and kind of shouting at customers and we could clearly smell alcohol from him, well not sure if those kind of people are right to be a face of company

We were walking across London and were cold and needed a toilet-and we found that NOTHING was open on a Saturday (apparently every cafe and shop caters only to weekday workers), and then we stumbled across this place. I ordered a hot chocolate, which was thick and chocolately-not watery or a mix. It was delicious. We would have ordered food if we had been hungry-it looked delicious-sandwiches, pastries, they even had soups. The cafe had plenty of seating and was nice to sit in. My only complaint was the manager (a guy with a mohawk, if I remember correctly)-he was apparently extremely stressed out! We could hear him yelling at the staff in the kitchen and he was very pushy when we were ordering-trying to get us to buy more stuff. There were only a few other customers, so there was no rush and no need for him to be so brisk and stressed out :P But everyone has bad days, and this was a great place to stop in on a cold day. Also, it's right outside the gorgeous Royal Courts of Justice-great view!

Last evening we went as a group friends 9 in total to the restaurant. The quality and the quantity of food was poor. When we complained to one of the member of stuff, asking to see the manager or chef, no one came to us to explain or apologise! Definitely Won't go back ever again. ☹
