I pre-ordered with a good bit of notice, the delivery time kept changing, it turned up over 2 hours late in the end. The food was nearly cold even though allegedly they'd set off not long before delivery. The salad was turning brown by then, there was a feeble amount of chips in some of them and they didn't taste nice. I won't bother again.

This place has gone downhill! Food arrived just cold had to put in the air fryer

I’ve ordered from here several times and it never disappoints. Portion sizes are perfect - high quality food, arrives fresh and hot every time.

Delicious food every time! Portion sizes are decent. Absolutely love the mixed gyros wrap and the chips with gouda cheese! Quick delivery via Deliveroo usually too (and I’m on the other/north side of town.

Food tasty but no chilli sauce with halloumi and no tzatziki sauce with main. Both were in order 😥

Perfect portion of trilece. Neatly packed but it needs more milk. It’s too dry.

My food was collected at 6:15pm and delivered at 6:46pm after going around the whole of Sheffield. Unsurprisingly, the food is now lukewarm and soggy.

Very cheap and decent shop but the gyros is lacklustre in taste. Non crispy and kinda soggy fries, too little sauce and no chicken option for a gyros leaves a 3*. Decent for the price but overall unimpressive.

Everything was delicious as always!we had the gyros box for 2 and we have some leftovers for lunch today as well,due to the generous portions!

I recently visited this amazing souvlaki spot, and I have to say it was an unforgettable experience! The souvlaki was perfectly cooked, with tender meat and a deliciously smoky flavor. The pita was soft and fresh, and the toppings were generous and full of flavor. The sauces, especially the tzatziki, were out of this world. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. The atmosphere was cozy and casual, making it the perfect spot for a quick bite or a relaxed meal with friends. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic Greek flavors! I’ll definitely be coming back!

I ordered a chicken gyros skepasti through Uber eats and it was not fit for human consumption.

Vegetable skepasti was literally just lettuce, tomatoes & onion in a pitta! A salad sandwich… no vegetables in sight! A shame.

Advertised 35-45 minutes, but took nearly 3 hours. Will never order again from Apollon Greek. Also tried to cancel, but Just Eat said I would still be charged £25, so will never use just Eat again! NO STARS

pork skewer poor quality. also skepasti had not many pieces of pork skewer. delivery time kept changing and I the end it took almost 2 hours to be delivered.

The food didn’t come. Driver said he was outside, I couldn’t find him anywhere, I called him and it was not connecting and a message saying we cannot connect you to this caller, I then called the restaurant and she asked for my order number I told her she listed off what I ordered I said yes. She then said the driver cannot be reached and she cannot help but then she was saying she had no idea what I ordered and couldnt find out, she then kept repeating call just eat not my problem. Terrible

Ordered my food at 2pm it is now 4pm and still not arrived called the restaurant to be shouted at by the woman when I said my order had not been delivered. Told me to just go through just eat as they didn’t have a number for their driver. Do not recommend

Amazing and fresh food with great flavour, but delivery took 45 minutes longer than initial estimated delivery time (20:20 vs 21:05)

Delivery time was spot on, the only problem was the food. Chicken breast was very fatty, I had to cut all the fat and gristly pieces off and the chicken was still hard and chewy. Not what you expect for the price you pay.

Absolutely amazing gyros, feels like Greece

Ordered off Deliveroo. We got a £31 10 skewers meal (chicken) and it was so bad. Where do I start? Portion size is tiny. Supposed to come with fries, which were actually slices of potato, no seasoning, soggy and limp. I had to air fryer them, lace with salt & pepper for taste and still left my half of them. The chicken was bland and the most chewy, rubbery meat I've ever had the misfortune to eat. The bread was so greasy and cut into weird triangles of all sorts of sizes, no 2 matched. The box it came in was 7x10x2.5 inches, half empty and full of sweat. The only thing that actually tasted of anything was the weird lump of lemon we got. No salad, no Sauces, no flavour, no chance of me ever ordering from Apollo Greek ever again. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place like the plague.

Didn’t even turn up… waited 55 minutes then drove to the takeaway to find out what was going on as conveniently the phone wasn’t working ! The app said the app said they were still preparing my food when I arrived but they said it had been delivered. Strange as I sat in the hotel reception doorway waiting to be entire time…: so - didn’t even get my good order - fuming !

The food is simply amazing, proper traditional greek feel. tastes are fresh and aromatic. The desert portion sizes are great and they are super delicious. my go to greek food. Highly recommend

Unbelievable every time. Had similar stuff from other Greek places and they never compare. Always piping hot and cooked to perfection. Incredible value for money can’t recommend enough.

Went down for gyro wrap and other item but felt that the staff were slightly condescending for no reason. Bear in mind, I wasn’t rude or ordered anything complicated. Compared to other take out place I went nearby I never encountered it and I don’t think just ordering a simple take out would get weird look from member staff unlike this place. Probably just need to work on customer service and make less patronising facial expression. This wasn’t the first time and that’s the reason I had to leave a review.

Order arrived late, guy went the wrong place whatever. But when the food came there’s was less than half a portion in there. I order from them all the time and don’t expect this. Contacted them and the woman said “don’t worry about it, it happens sometimes”. Not when I’ve paid £11 it doesn’t. Have to find a new Gyros place now. Well done.

Restaurant’s food is amazing. Delivery driver went to the wrong address in the opposite direction so now hot food is cold and cold food is warm. He then blamed me for not answering my phone when my phone never rang. I guess him going to the complete wrong part of Sheffield was also my fault.

Fantastic quality and we enjoyed the packaging too. I’m a little disappointed we were missing a drink.

Ordered at 1845 and by 2045 no food delivered. Called the restaurant and was told order couldn’t be found. When I read the Just Eat order number to the restaurant they found it and stated the order has been dispatched. This was despite the Just Eat application showing the ‘Order being prepared and the courier being at the restaurant’. 18 hours later and still no food or resolution from either restaurant or Just Eat 😩

Delicious food!! Would definitely order again. It would have been a 5 star if they sent cheese crochetes and not jalapeño cheese bites however they were nice so didn’t complain not sure of the price difference but all in all still good

I never received my order even thought it said delivered on the just eat app. I rang the restaurant and she wasn't very helpful saying that there wasn't anything she could do. Very unhappy and won't be ordering from here again.

Food needed a good bit of salt but otherwise great food, still nice and hot, quick delivery time. Would order again.

Absolute terrible. We received someone else’s order which was short of an item itself. Called the restaurant to explain and give them chance to rectify. After 5 mins of trying to explain what had happened and being told our food is on its way I was passed onto someone else. After another few minutes I was hung up on and no correct order came so just eat refunded me. Wonder if Pauline ever got her lamb chops and cappuccino because we never got our gyros or any help from the restaurant.

The food is really tasty, quite good prices for the portion size too! Great for lunch imo if you get the chicken pittas.

Just collected a mixed Gyros for my wife and I, and it was THE BEST Gyros I have had outside of Greece itself. Absolute banger of a Gyros. The meat wasn’t greasy, but delicious, the pitta was soft and warm. Went down a treat.

I can see driver after pick up went towards city centre before coming back towards direction of dore? This will have added around 7-8 mins to the delivery time which was unnecessary - shame as food was lovely but could have been hotter / warmer if driver made a direct route

Had a delivery of chicken gyros pitta wraps and cheese croquettes. The lettuce in the wraps was brown and should not have been used..should have been thrown away. There was no tzatziki to be seen in the wraps. All the food was greasy. Very disappointed 😞 Wish I'd taken a photo as our food certainly didn't look like the photos shown on the site.

Left me with chilli cheese bites and I ordered cheese croquettes,I dont handle chilli very well.

The wraps were nice but was disappointed with the size of the greek salad, £6.50 for a tiny portion especially compared to the £6 we paid for the wrap, should be a much bigger portion.

Good food. Souvlaki really good. Did not dry out in transit. Fried potatoes a little soft (prefer crispier) but once the lemon squeezed over and then dipped in Tza it was like being next to a beach in Kefalonia.

This is THE best geek food I have ever eaten outside of Athens .this takeaway is my new nest friend. If you want food packed with flavour delivered to your door you need to order now. ….. wow . Just wow… Thankyou guys
