We had a banquet for 2. We had menu B. There wasn't a lot of food for the money. The duck and pancakes was tiny! It was £111 and I don't feel like it was value for money . I didn't like the staff wire blue rubber gloves during service, kind of put me off my food.

I've always been eating Lebanese food, and tonight I ordered the "Teochew style oyster cake" for the first time. There was no fish sauce, no potato starch, and the eggs were old-fashioned, neither tasty nor crispy. I want to order this! How ridiculous! It’s £18.8 to eat an oyster omelette, but it’s so delicious! The staff's service is good and there is no problem, but if you don't know the taste, it won't be easy to sell!

Three Fresh Japanese Tofu 16.8 It's a big portion with broccoli, squid and shrimp in it. The tofu is very soft and tender, salty and chewy. Five-star praise! ! Overall, it is light and very suitable for cleansing the intestines after being greasy. Three-cup chicken pot 14.8 After the outer skin is fried in a hot pan, the burnt aroma is very strong and the pan is full of steam🔥 Overall a bit salty Honey BBQ Pork 14.9 The portion is generous, comes with dipping sauce, and has just the right amount of sweetness. The only drawback is that I personally feel it's a bit too dry. Like chewing Harbin sausage It would be nice if it could be moisturized a little more Next time you can try the Sanshao mix

Went on a Saturday and was an awful experience. The restaurant was super packed so we got seated upstairs. The staff didn’t seem to care about us at all, took forever to take our orders(15 mins), and we waited for 20 mins for the first dish to come. They even forgot to bring our second dish until we had finished our first, 20 minutes later! When the waitress realized their poor treatment of us, and that the food was left downstairs, they offered to get warm rice for us which was like rubbing salt in the wound. We said we wouldnt pay for the second dish that didn’t come. Thankfully the waitress and cashier allowed us but we heard the manager wanting to shoo us away so they can get a new table of customers. Very poor customer service and will not go back again, there are many better Chinese restaurants in Manchester.

The exterior and competitive menu prices attracted us in to this restaurant, and we were not disappointed. We were greeted by a friendly man and taken to a table. Me and my wife ordered what we each wanted and then shared the food between us. I have to say, it was some of the best Chinese food I have ever had. Luckily our food choices complimented each other very nicely. We ordered 2 mains and 2 sides and the portions where big enough for us to have 2 full plates each. It was so enjoyable that neither of us left a thing. The atmosphere was nice and cosy and the decor was very nice too. We would definitely recommend and come back ourselves if we are ever in the area for a pre concert meal.

Best Chinese food I’ve had in a long time.

An incredible link in Chinatown Manchester. We took the business menu with chicken soup, sweet and sour chicken (with a flavor ❤️) and ginger chicken and fresh onion. The products are fresh and very well cooked and the service is friendly. Very clean restaurant, which is not the case with some surrounding windows. Well done we will come back

Went for lunch after being seated waited 25 minutes and i had to get up to be served, we have not dined here before and nothing was explained to us constantly had to get up and ask staff the dim sum was nice and we seen the ducks in the window and thought we would also try this when ours came it looked like he had been in the oven all morning we got very little meat from it as the rest was too far gone would of complained to staff but couldn't find one in the end they did eventually speak to us so they could give us the bill i would give this one a miss and try one of the other places close by

The taste of Shang Hai noodles is not the real traditional one

We waited a very long time for our food, other customers served before us that came after we arrived. No real service, swapped out drinks without asking as the one we ordered wasn’t available. The food was awful, cold, no flavour- with exception of the char Sui pork but it was literally just a big plate of meat. Terrible waste of money.

From my personal experience, this is a spectacular eating establishment. Me and my family had sat and ordered here, and were greeted with excellent lightning speed service. The atmosphere was great, and the food was some of the best Chinese meals l've had in a long time! Highly recommend, 5 Stars 👌

Unfortunately, whilst we had high hopes based on the reviews, our actual experience was very poor. The food was OK - decent enough taste for a few of the dishes, although without amazing us. One or two the dim sum were very good - we can recommend the Beef Chun Fun, for example. Service was very poor: left ages to wait before ordering, bringing us dirty plates, only listening to part of a request and either forgetting the other part so that we had to ask again, or getting it wrong, bringing one person's starter about 15 mins before the others, etc. When we arrived around 14:00 on a Sunday it was very busy. However, by the time we left the restaurant was half empty. Some customers who arrived and sat after us left and paid before we received our main course. The prices are quite high for the quality and we were not asked for feedback on the meal at any point. (Neither whilst at the table nor when paying.) When I asked for the bill, I was handed the card machine without so much as a smile. I was not even shown the bill until after I'd paid, when I could see that a service charge had been added without asking. By this point, I was too tired from the experience to bother complaining and just wanted to leave. Perhaps this was a one-off bad day, although we certainly won't be back there in a hurry to find out.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere. .after soup and dim sum we were so full ,got our main to takeaway . So happy that we chose this place.paid less than £30 per head , soup each, dim sum sharing platter , main meal and fried rice to share, complimentary prawn crackers , large wine , j20, so for evening, city centre, I think value for money . Visited the restaurant on Monday 3rd February, at approx 5pm. The restaurant was very quiet, when we arrived, and there were only 2 of us. We each ordered a starter, which were both delicious, but not served at the same time. Our main courses took a really long time, to be served, one of which was only luke warm. While we were waiting, many other people arrived, and were all served before us. Some of them had actually finished their meal, and left !! Excellent food, despite it being busy (CNY weekend), staff doing their best to seat everyone without rushing those eating. Will definitely return!

Food is always fresh and well presented. Staff are very welcoming and understanding. Just be wary that it is very very busy and they are open from lunch to late night so you do have enough time to plan and choose a time that suits you. The service is one of the best as they have countless staff always ready to sort out any issues instantly, you will not be waiting long for staff to come to your needs like other places I have been to.

Excellent experience for those who went for lunch at 3pm. The best part is that many of the customers were Asian, which shows the quality of the Cantonese food at this restaurant. The boneless lacquered duck was divine. The gyozas were very tasty and well steamed. Even the chicken and corn soup was a good experience. This is a place to recommend.

Had a lovely meal here - food was fresh, tasty, piping hot, and lots of veggie options. Also very good value compared to other nearby restaurants. Staff were really pleasant and friendly, the atmosphere was nice, and the robot cat waiter was a sight to behold! Will definitely come here again when next in Manchester.

Food is great and the selection is fantastic. Most of the staff are approachable . There is a couple that can be a little hard to approach. My friends love the fact that there are large tables that can get us all around.

Their mapo tofu and fried rice is really plain. The dim sum is okay but we waited more than half an hour at the table… Bad experience overall wouldn’t recommend

Went with my family last night on recommendation of others. We had Set menu B for 4 persons. The quantity of food is good but we all found the food rather bland despite having 4 different main courses, it pretty much all tasted the same. The server cheekily rolled up the bill trying to obscure the already added 10% service charge and the card machine was open at the screen to add a further tip ranging from 10% upwards, this would have added a further £21 on top of the £20 already added. This is a very underhand tactic designed at double dipping on the tips. Be aware if visiting this place. We won’t be back as I am sure there are venues offering better tasting food.

Fab-u-lous! The best Chinese food I’ve eaten for many years. Great crispy seaweed for starters, sublime duck pancakes and then a cascade of prawn, calamari, stir fried vegetables and steamed rice. Wonderful service from energetic waiters and nothing was too much trouble! Worth the detour and Beats China town in London!

Delicious roasted meat, especially roasted duck. It is not salty and has duck flavor. The meat is tender and not greasy. The egg tart is delicious and the skin is crispy enough. It would be better if the egg could be cooked more. The shrimp dumplings and siu mai are on point, there’s not too much fatty pork, and the skin is smoky and tough. The rice with chicken feet and pork ribs is less and the rice is dry. On the contrary, Yangzhou fried rice is relatively wet. In short d, the wild food is neither heavy-flavored nor too salty. The portion size is a bit small for normal. It’s delicious. I’ll order a half portion of roast duck next time.

Would not recommend. Har gau had no flavor whatsoever and Xiao long bao had split open when they arrived at the table so all of the soup inside had leaked out... Really disappointing as had heard good things about this place.

We were kept waiting for an unacceptable 40 minutes, and our mains arrived before we had even received our soup, which we had to ask for multiple times. The food quality was disappointing; the stir-fried noodles were excessively gloopy, and the duck I ordered was greasy, served with low-grade rice. To top it off, we were incorrectly charged for our drinks. This £50 experience felt like a complete waste. I urge you to enhance your service and uphold the quality and pride of Asian cuisine. Overall, it was extremely disappointing.

The food was excellent. They do a 2 course menu for lunch for £13.98 The hot and sour soup was the best I’ve had for a long time. I also had beef in Cantonese sauce with fried rice, generous portions. Service was prompt. The waitress made a few errors but sorted it very quickly, think she was training. It was very busy at 1:40pm on a Monday. The place was clean and tidy, plates and table cleared quickly. I used to eat regularly in China town many years ago and the food here was really good so wasn’t disappointed. Looked popular would definitely go there again. Sorry no photos I get involved in eating and conversation and forget to take them 🤣

Not too many options for dim sum but still quite adequate. Good space between table to table and clean. Staffs are super polite and thoughtful, my plate was changed and I did not even ask for it. So far the best experience that I have had at Chinatown here. I will come back to try non-dim sum dishes.

Classic Chinese restaurant, with a very big variety of dishes. Everything that we ordered tasted really good the staff were fast, friendly and efficient. We had to wait for 5-8 min because the place is very busy.

Lovely sweet and sour king prawns (and they were some of the largest prawns I've had in sweet and sour) and satay chicken. 1st visit and would certainly recommend.

The dim sum isn’t too bad, shrimp dumpling was fresh but the outside wrapper was overly soggy compared to a normal steamed dumpling. The salt and pepper chips were overly greasy and the beef was a bit stale too. The braised tofu and mushrooms were so delicious but the price isn’t considering half of the plate was broccoli; the shiitake mushrooms are super big however so that may contribute to the price. The deep fried shrimp dumplings were not what I expected, they came out as wontons which wasn’t bad but a bit greasier than what I was hoping for. Service was really bad, the restaurant was empty at 4:30pm but the servers kept walking past our table and it took ages for us to get their attention for the bill, even though they were attentive with all the other tables apart from ours :( The food is pretty good but the service brings them down lots.

I've given the service 2 but don't need put off.. The staff are lovely and work very hard and very fast. The robots are cool It's just that at lunchtime on a weekend this place is BUSY It's great place.

A good and fine dining hot pot place for family and friends gatherings and special events. The hot pot based soup is quite various and you can choose 1 to 2 of them each time. The food for the hot pot is very authentic and fresh too. The portion is quite decent as well. Overall, I would recommend it!

After ordering, we waited for almost 40 minutes and still no food was served. The one at the back was almost done with the food we ordered after. The entire texture of the scallop and radish cake was batter, and it also tasted of stale oil. The shrimp dumplings tasted bad, very soft and not hot. The clerk also lied to us and said it was because there were too many orders. If that was true, why were the shrimp dumplings almost frozen and not yet arrived? I ordered chicken feet and pork ribs rice, but when they were served pork ribs rice with black bean sauce, I was even disdainful and said I would wait for you to change it, or just eat this. The steamed buns I ordered were supposed to be served with condensed milk, but they were served with salad dressing. I didn't realize until I had already dipped the salad dressing in my mouth and put it in my mouth. We were so disappointed with their attitude that we ended up not ordering the steamed buns. When the clerk learned about it, his attitude immediately became extremely bad and his words were full of sarcasm.

The environment of this restaurant is very good, very clean and tidy. The food not only looks beautiful, but more importantly, tastes great, with good color and taste, fresh and refreshing. It's really good, the color is better, and the price is affordable, the service is attentive, and it's praised! Good service and wide oriental food options :) Also there is this machine that delivers your food to the table that has cat-like graphical features. This machine isn't sentient and therefore has difficulties routing so don't expect it to work! Food still arrives in reasonable time thanks to the staff :)

Today, I went to this restaurant in the Chinese Market with my friends for lunch. The atmosphere of the restaurant is quite pleasant, with relaxing decor and ambiance. However, unfortunately, our experience was not as good as we had hoped. The prices on the menu were quite high compared to similar restaurants, so our expectations for the taste were also high. After placing our order, the service speed was decent, but the taste of the food did not meet our expectations. I believe there were issues with the use of spices. One of the key elements of Chinese cuisine is balanced use of spices, but we couldn’t find that balance in the dishes here. Additionally, some dishes lacked salt, which negatively affected the overall flavor. I believe the food could be much better with more balanced salt usage and the right spice combinations. In summary, while the atmosphere and service were positive aspects, considering the taste of the food and the price-performance ratio, I don’t think I will be returning. Given the high prices and lack of flavor, there are better alternatives to consider.

A tea gathering with my friends in this Aplus Oriental Restaurant, had a feeling of very traditional Chinese upholstery in a kind of tables packed closely together. The dim sums are yummy of numbers of selections. The marvelous one is the "Stir Fry Beef Noodles". The beefs were leen and tender, but noodles were a little bit oily Fortunately, this wasn't sticky to your mouth. If you want to know the cooking art and quality of a Chinese tea house, order the "Stir Fry Beef Noodle. This can examine the cooking art of the chefs. The " Red Date Cake in ginger juice" and egg tarts are the ones I highly recommended. The cake sweetened the fragrant ginger tast and the egg tarts were in soften crust that you must try. Nevertheless, you must know the bill is not cheap in any "Chinese Yim Chat". It costed me £150+ for a company of 8 people. Ha Ha! In the last "Yim Chat", thanks for £130 for 8 people again . Can't help because I have to repay people who offerd me numbers of helps when I needed.
