Wonderful time was had and food was amazing

No longer Aqua. Noto Italian restaurant and café. My mixed grill was very good and I was full. Wife had seabass and said it was tasty. They are going to have jazz and r n b lunchtimes in the near future so give it a try and a follow.

It’s been a few years since I was last there but I was greeted today like a regular. It has just changed its name but if anything the food is better than ever. The service is excellent. My family are so pleased with my choice for Father’s Day. We’ll be back.

First time here and it was marvellous.

We were there for a private birthday party lunch and had the back room about 25 people. Good space. First time here for me and the food was tasty and well presented. Friendly staff, patient and attentive especially with a big group. Would recommend.

Lovely small hidden restaurant with a nice selection on the menu. Service was good and server very friendly. I had a pastry with spinach and feta for starters that was probably my favourite which was beautiful. Had the slow cooked beef for main which was also very good and the mushroom risotto. Only thing I would comment on is that the mash could be a bit thicker but never less stomach is full and happy. Will be coming back again ..aqua cocktail was very nice

I've ordered before and the same food as today. Very disappointed with today. The pasta dish wasn't fresh and missing ingredients and felt like left overs . Rushed. Might have to think again about ordering again.

Food was absolutely delicious! Obviously good quality and an excellent chef. Defo recommended.

I really like Aqua, they have nice food. However the homemade chips were soft and oily, they shouldn’t go out to customers like this. Either cut them slightly thinner (some were an inch thick) or triple cook them. I also ordered the chicken souvlaki. I get that transport can cause dishes to move, but what I received was an upside down box of bulgur, chicken, feta, and Greek salad, all mixed up together, which affected the overall enjoyment. I wouldn’t have the same expectations from a lower cost

Treated myself to a post-workout feast. That chicken souvlaki really hit the spot.

I was recommended this restaurant whilst on a recent work trip and I have to say I really enjoyed it. The crispy duck salad was lovely and a light way to start my dinning experience. To follow I had the sirloin steak which melted in the mouth and was cooked to perfection. The chunky chips were crispy but not to hard in the middle. I finished with a bailey's creme brulee, crispy top and just right inside. There was a new member of staff training and although he was very new the basics were there, we'll mannered and engaging. The only very slight downside was one of the members of staff had a cold and kept sniffing it up which was a bit distracting. Well worth a visit.

Nice clean venue,had our Christmas Dinner here. Obviously very busy so wasn't given one to one attention you may get on normal night. SO my review is based on food which I enjoyed very much. Had seabass,roasted veg and mussels and ferro roaches cheesecake. Which was all lovely. Restaurant toilets is only thing needs sorting out 1 was not working which was disbled toilet and other just about worked and no toilet roll. Whilst busy in Restaurant please maintain toilets to higher standard.

We had a really enjoyable evening here with tasty cuisine, a good selection of drinks and a very friendly service. The waiters/waitresses were very attentive and welcoming and we weren’t rushed in any way. We spent a good few hours here and when it was time to go the staff even came us some free limoncello shots on our departure. Would definitely return!

Always good here. Work Xmas lunch on this occasion. I believe all of the party enjoyed the meal and venue as much as I did.

The food here was great, especially the meat balls for starters and chocolate brownie desert.

Not my first time here, but the food and service never disappoint! It may be a Tuesday night, not as buzzing as it's so early in the week, but enough people to create a warm atmosphere. A place you will always want to come to.

I've been there a few times now, and I have never been disappointed. The best restaurant I have been to in Croydon. It's really excellent, delicious food, and not overpriced. Hope they stick around

Lovely evening out with friends, although the food was not as expected and some of it tasted quite bland. The Calamari did not even taste like sea food. The potatoes served with the lamb and pork tasted as though they had been refrigerated or prepared prior and heated up. We all know that taste when the roasties are not fresh and at their optimum.

Had the set menu which at £19 for 2 courses and £21 for 3, is for the price good value. I chose the mussels and my friend chose the soup (leek + potato) to start. We both had the steak fritte as mains. Food was cooked well and was tasty.

I miss Greece and this reminds me of it. Cosy place to indulge in some gyros and salmon

Went to this restaurant for a birthday celebration, we had a big number of guests attending (30+ people) so booked beforehand. It showed that the restaurant was understaffed as it took over 2 hours for our starters to be served, 3 hours for our main to be served and 4 hours for us to get our dessert. Seemed like a nice place but would not recommend if you are planning to do a big booking.

Dated deco could use an update . Pleasant staff but very slow service .

Lovely atmosphere and the food was on point. Really enjoyed my platter and meal prices reasonable. They also have meal deals.

Pre booked for 6 people for Saturday early dinner. Mixture of kids, elderly and middle aged people! Lovely food- between us we had a steak, pork belly, spag bolognaise, slovaki, and salmon. Good selection of cocktails and drinks. Service attentive but food was slow to arrive- but was worth the wait. We would return. Car park next to the restaurant.

Good food and a nice family atmosphere.

Aqua is delightful placed greek inspired bar and grill experience. I happened to be passing by and stopped for a drink but upon seeing the menu, decided the Mains were worth a try. I had the Greek Meze which definitely suitable for 2 or more. It has a great selection of meters classics with dips. For the drink I originally went it for, I went for the elderflower martini. AMAZING. A must vist lunch or dinner venue when in South end South Croydona

Popped in for Sunday roast. I chose Taramsalata and toast for the starter. The second course being roast beef (well- done) With all the trimmings. Both meals were well-cooked and very enjoyable. For liquid refreshment, Coca-Cola was sufficient. The third course consisted of Panna cotta -which again was very enjoyable.

Lovely restaurant in Croydon. Nice food and service.

First time finding this place and if you haven't been there yet - get there! The food was superb and the service is really REALLY good. Loads to choose from and the stuff we didn't order smelled great as being taken past us! My mixed grill looked so good I had eaten half before I took a photo! Good selection of drinks and cocktails also. Highly recommended.

Good food and enjoyable experience - also yummy baklava made by the friendly waitress!

The cocktails were very good. The starter my group had was good but the main was not really flavourful. I had the short ribs which was soft but did not taste like ribs, the sauce tasted like gravey granulates it was cold and I would have preferred a ordernary season rice but that rice looked and tasted as a base of a risottos no flavor. The fish platter was rank you could hsve smell the fish from a mile away and there were small bones in what was supposed to be filleted. The puds was good but the other members did not like their choices. But over all nice place.

Had an excellent meze platter to share for lunch, and 2 desserts. Definitely a good meal :-)

Came here with a friend for the Boxing day set menu with a friend and as someone with a lot of allergies/ dietary requirements I was blown away by how accommodating they were to me- even making a starter option that I could eat outside of the main menu. The food and service was amazing and I just want to say thank you so much for being so helpful around my allergies- especially on a busy day like Boxing day! I will definitely come here again and would strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Great food and excellent customer service. Only slight downside is the interior décor is looking a little bit tired, but that's me being picky. All in all definitely worth a visit.

I ordered prawns and scallops for starters but the scallops were not to my taste, not sure if I'm being too boujy or not. But the fillet steak I ordered for main was very nice. So overall the scallops let it down for me, otherwise 5 stars across the board for everything else

Lush meal. 50% off on steak (paid £14 for a fillet steak!) and £20 for a 3 course meal. Got more than what we paid for! We will definitely be back to try some more. Loads to choose from!

The food is delicious and the set menu is great value - the grilled sword fish with salsa stood out! We went for lunch on a quiet Saturday afternoon and the staff were friendly and attentive.

We went on a Monday night, which ment that it was quite quiet. However the meal and service was fantastic.

The best restaurant in croydon!

The food was lovely and tasty. I had the lamb shank. The service is friendly. I went in the week so it was quiet but I have been on a busy night and the place was buzzing. Food has a Mediterranean twist and Aqua is well worth a visit.

I’ve been to this establishment a handful of times now and it never fails to impress. I usually get the fillet steak but I opted on this visit for the lamb… let me tell you that was a decision I did not regret! It was beautifully cooked. My partner had the steak- I tried some and it was as delicious as usual. Thank you for another great meal

We were here for a special birthday with a group of family and friends. It was amazing, the food was fantastic and the staff were super friendly and helpful, so attentive. We can’t wait to visit again when we are over from Ireland.

This place is a wonderful contemporary mediterranean restaurant with an interior that really makes you feel like you're on holiday. The food was extremely good, I can recommend the Jacob Ladder dish. After a busy day, this place transformed our evening into an enjoyable, relaxed one. We will certainly be back.

Very popular place, we were 1 of 3 couples on arrival at 7pm and the place was buzzing by the time we left, around 10pm Service is fantastic, food top notch. Staff very friendly, helpful and do not rush you to finish regardless of how busy they are. Although we did not have one, I'm guessing this is the place to go for cocktails as they were very popular, especially for the youngsters (yes I'm at that age now 😁) Certainly will be going back and definitely worth a visit. Value for money is on parr with all other eateries in vicinity and very generous helpings.

Spent mothers day here and the staff created a set menu which was really good. Friendly staff here always make it a welcoming place to visit.

Great food, okay service, but the table and cutlery were sticky due to not being cleaned properly, with parts of the table veneer peeling off.

Went for dinner with a client in late February on a weekday night. Restaurant was empty, see ice very nice and the people are very friendly. Food is okay but nothing special, and I think lots of choice for you along the street.

Our Family have been eating at Apatura for nearly two years, and during this year we have continued to look forward to dining out from their awesome kitchen especially while in phase two of the lockdown!The food is always fresh, tasty and above all else we are never disappointed when we have ordered takeout to eat at home from them.I would recommend them highly and the menu is great value too and if you like Turkish food you cant lose!

I visit this restaurant regularly as it is a little gem in South Croydon, family run, they care about what they do, so the service, food & drink are second to none. The building is an old pub, has lovely high ceilings & makes it a lovely place to visit. x

First time I have experienced this restuarant and will definately be back, best Turkish restuarant I have been to.
