Excellent round with friends at this friendly course in the lovely town of Beverley.

Very welcoming, great course. Played several times over winter and the course has been in great condition.

Beverley golf course is little gem of a course played over Xmas and the course was in fantastic condition couldn’t fault it I would highly recommend a round you won’t be disappointed

a beautiful course that feels like it just emerged out of the natural landscape rather than being built. that’s quite unique and the fences protecting the greens from cows add to that feeling and the charm of the course. lots of varied and challenging holes with no two of them the same. this year the full rough was quite deep due to growing conditions, as a result the first cut was left a bit longer to prevent the ball rolling into the thick stuff, but it’s dying back now in winter making things slightly easier. The main thing is the incredible drainage and the mature unimproved pasture setting that makes for great conditions and a real inland links feel. great pro shop and club house too!

Very laid-back, professional and friendly staff on a lovely course set on the picturesque Westwood. A fair course with good greens, it poses the right questions.

A good course, reasonably priced. One caveat is that your play may be slowed down by walkers or cows

We played here yesterday in fairly benign conditions. Treat it as serious exercise. The course looks intimidating from the first tee. A right dog leg uphill. The changes in elevation made for some heavy walking. The fairways were in good condition. There were 5 part 3s. One more than we've had all week. Avoid the first cut as it brings your ball to a quick stop. The second will devour it. The first 9 is longer than the back 9 which seemed much easier l. Sadly, the damage was done on the front. Not my favourite course. Greens are protected by fences to keep the cows off them. It became a bit of a faff climbing over them.

Very interesting course challenges you to manage the course. Played with the seniors from Beverley and have to say a great bunch of lads

Excellent friendly and encouraging staff with great pointers for improving your game. We attended the kids sessions on a Saturday afternoon. Really good price and lots of fun. Highly recommend.

Just a fantastic course and friendly clubhouse

Thanks to the guy in the VW t-roc at 8:10 this morning who felt accelerating and turning into the club was a better option than slowing down and letting me run past without nearly taking me out. Sorry for running into your rear quarter light and for getting in your way on the path. Thanks and merry Xmas. (Self employed man with 4 kids to support)

Quirky, challenging and enjoyed by some of the friendliest members a visitor could wish to.meet.

It is common land with cattle roaming around. The green's are fenced off to prevent cattle from straying on to the putting green

What a special golf course! No easy holes. The 18 holes cover a wide area with many hills. A round of golf really is quite a brisk walk. The welcome was very friendly and so were the other golfers we encountered. In short, a day well spent!

Great wee course. Very quirky and some challenging holes.

First time playing Beverley. Not a long course but some interesting holes and nice greens. Luckily the cows were keeping their heads down so weren't a problem, plenty of walkers on the course but most were aware/considerate of the golfers. Played again (May 2023) really nice to be back, enjoyed every minute. The variety of holes is great and the course was in very good condition. Looking forward to my next visit.

A very friendly and welcoming team. Golf course is in great condition and not overly long so can get around in a 3-3.5 hours easily. Thoroughly recommend.

Played for the first time, good value for £15 with a county card. Bit of a novelty sharing the courses with cows! Worth a visit.

This course is one of the finest natural courses in Yorkshire, despite being on public land. A good test and in great condition.

Food was nice but the service was not great. This is still worth a visit and you will find the prices are good. Great for families

Pleasant staff and decent food at reasonable prices.

My gentlemen's luncheon club enjoyed an excellent meal of Gammon, egg, chips & peas followed by very tasty 'proper' Apple pie with custard or cream, and lastly, coffee or tea. All served up by the gorgeous club steward, Chrissie. Super venue for our regular monthly lunch.

What a lovely warm welcome x food was very tasty and the triple fried chips excellent. Definitely going back x

I found the golf course very hard walking so not for the feint hearted. Food was delicious but not enough!

Well prepared greens interesting fairways...watch out for the cows !! Well worth a game ..some interesting blind drives

I play the golf course that is on Beverley Westwood

The restaurant is part of the Golf Club House, plenty of parking and open to the public. Really good steak sandwich, freshly prepared, very friendly atmosphere and on a nice day great view over the course and the Westwood. Would highly recommend if looking for somewhere quiet for a bit to eat.

Esta fue una comida sorpresa para mí en padres de día, fue tomada aquí después de la familia, así que un anuncio de este restaurante, debo decir que cuando llegas te parece que es un club privado de golf, pero no lo es, tiene una licencia pública y como nos enteramos cualquiera es bienvenido. Está situado en el espléndido entorno de Beverley Westwood con fantásticas vistas el restaurante era bastante cuando estábamos comiendo 6 un domingo por la tarde que era estupenda para una comida familiar, la comida era muy sabrosa bien preparado y muy bien presentadas, con el personal te hacen sentir bienvenido y un servicio muy atento. Este podría ser un lujo después de un domingo normal andando por el Westwood con una buena cerveza, buena comida y una cálida bienvenida. Gracias a todo el personal, y veremos en el futuro.

Cows all over the course, cow poo everywhere, fences around the greens, the members are rude. Wouldn't play there again if you payed me
