We are from London and visited Middlesbrough and tried this restaurant. Trust me, we were 11 people and amazed with delicious food very very reasonable price and wonderful staff. 100 out of 100. A must try place. Just next to Teesside University. Lamb shawarma is a must..

Stopped by for a quick bite and was pleased with the quality and flavors. Tried both a dine-in chicken shawarma plate as well as picked up a chicken roast to take home. Both were cooked well and full of authentic Mediterranean spices - a nice change of pace from other takeaway spots. There is limited seating inside, so this is best as a takeaway option. That said, on busy days, you may need to wait for your order. The staff are friendly despite being run off their feet at times. They work efficiently to fulfill orders. One minor annoyance was that they only accepted cash - I'm not sure if this is permanent or was just that particular visit. Parking is street side only, so keep your parking location in mind. Overall, the food quality makes it worth seeking out. It's an excellent budget-friendly dinner or lunch option. I'll be back to try other menu items for sure. If you're a shawarma fan, don't pass this place up.

Great falafel wrap but the prices charged inside the shop are much higher than the price list on the outside of the shop. This isn’t ok in any way at all. Is it even legal? I queried it and apparently it’s “been like that for some time” and it wasn’t possible to speak to owner who was away on holiday. Great a grip! How difficult is it to get a new sign made? Or get a paintbrush or a marker pen?

How is this place 5 stars ? I taken my family ther for dinner the food was ok i always go ther to get sharma but never again i so mouse running around the restaurant. Disgusting, disgusting I told is to the workers they didn’t even care

Absolutely vile. I witnessed a customer getting treated incorrectly and wrong by the workers too. When my food was getting ready and getting cooked for takeout, I asked precisely for my chicken NOT to be cut; the worker looked directly at me and started cutting it into pieces. They also made me pay extra, and throughout their service i was disgusted.

Cheeky asked for an extra pound for using my card. So left.. didn't think you can still do this.

I've been here twice in the space of 3 days and can honestly say I've never had anything like it. The first time I ordered I large mix shawarma with cucumber, pickled red cabbage and it was amazing. It was so light, flavourful and fresh I wanted more. Tonight I went in and decided to have the 12" Antalya special pizza, again couldn't fault it. The taste and quality of ingredients were amazing not to mention the dough was so light and airy it doesn't weight you down. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Highly recommend

Been there today. Ordered chicken Sharma with rice. £9. Chicken was cold. And naan bread was not cooked properly like lots of places half cooked. Rice was not cooked well and hard. I would suggest to avoid unless you want cheap.

Perfect shawarma place to satisfy your carvings. Quick orders and food that is great in quality and quantity at a cheap price. The shawarma and grilled chicken is just heaven. I go there at least twice every week.

We had a small deviation from our order and it was corrected immediately. Fez, was excellent and sent a new order out. I’m very fussy with food but Antalyas food is amazing. We tell everyone about it.

Can't fault the food, they do the best Shawarmas in Teesside hands down.... however the service is not so great.... quite often you are left standing at the counter trying to attract the attention of the staff, just for them to serve someone else who came in after you. And they often miss things off your oder too, for example last time we went we ordered roast chicken with salad, chips and bread.... they missed the chips and bread so we had to stand there trying to flag someone down, which takes a while. They do get busy so I understand sometimes these things can happen, but it's literally every time we go in. Please organise yourselves better!

The meat was nearly raw. The taste was awful.

First time ordering from Antalya shawarma, sat inside to eat, very clean, staff very polite and pizza was delicious, would definitely recommend.

Very unfriendly service, stood waiting and watching ordered the same as the person next to me I seen the size of his shawarma and I was pleased, then he did mine, but mine was half the size of his!! Why I wonder, then realised they look after the mates. I would not recommend them after this experience I do not like any form of discrimination !!!

Very bad food. I took my cousins for a meal at lunchtime and it's like they had laxatives in it because as soon as me and my cousins finished it, we needed the toilet. 🚽💩🤮👎

The food and price is good. Unfortunately they nearly forgot half my naan bread order and did forget our salad which I only realised after I got home. But we enjoyed the food anyway.

Visited for dinner and ordered the roast chicken with rice and soup but was served the set with salad and naan bread instead. The chicken was quite small and the sauce was just doused over it. It was a bit like peri peri chicken but as we assumed this was a Turkish place based on the name, we were a bit disappointed. Some bits of the chicken like the wings were burnt as well. We liked the naan though salad was a bit dry. Also ordered some falafels which were a disgrace - thin, flat & over fried, it was hard and didn't really taste like what falafels should. Overall a very mediocre joint based on what we ordered.

I can believe it that he was cutting Raw chicken places in pizza deep pan and sell it as shawarma, I took my family there to have shawarma and set down and order 4 shawarma only to witness the man cutting the chicken shawarma raw and place it in pizza deep pan tray and into the oven to cook as he can wait for it to be cooked he even served a homeless man half cook shawarma wrap, poor guy, I cancel my order and left, I would never eat there again.

I was over charged by approx £16/20 on the 4 meals I ordered. On two of the meals I said no chips or bread, just make me a bigger salad instead. I was then charged 2 x £2.50 for the 2 salads as they were made large. They knew exactly what they were doing with this con. It will not have been the first time. This has never happened in any other outlet anywhere in the world!!! I was basically charged approx 50% extra with items taken off the meal (Chips and bread). They agreed they had charged me too much and refunded £6. It should have been at least £16. Shocking service,

If you like middle-eastern cuisine & cooking , like kebab, Shawarma, chicken with rice and falafel, then this restaurant might be one of the good places to visit in Middlesbrough.

I've had a lot of shawarma but this place is one of the best. The Meat is Spiced so well and carved off in generous portions. Its also proper chunks of meat which adds to the enjoyment. The wraps are served open with plenty of salad and you add your own sauce (garlic and chilli). Drinks and chips were reasonable too. You can get pizzas, some more traditional dishes (they had lentil and rice when we were there) and range of usual takeaway food. They were quite busy when we were there but efficient and great service. Recommend for lunch

The only shawarma shop we use it's the nicest we've had and wouldn't recommend any other. Food always fresh and delicious.

Service was very poor no hello or goodbye or thanks from the staff.. The shawarma didn't have enough chicken in & tiny bit off salad.. They don't appreciate the customer who spends money in their shop.. Change you're ways otherwise you will lose more customers in the future...

Normally the food here is amazing however the last few times I went the people taking my order are rude and don’t even bother listening when I’m saying my order. Due to them not listening or not being bothered and rolling their eyes my order was wrong! This is not the first time you have lost a loyal customer! Not happy at all.

Always really tasty. We always get chicken shawarma meat in a box with chips and salad. Chips are always cooked fresh and the salad is crisp. Can't fault it

Totally got ripped off. The young lady who works there would not give me my .nan bread, which was included in price, and she clearly didn't like me for some unknown reason. Think she was a bit racial to me. The chips were undercooked Will not go again.

When you don't have anything in your fridge, or you simply can't be bothered to cook, this is the Perfect place to go. Portions are decent, food is delicious and prices are great. I would definitely recommend this. 👍🌮🍟
