food was cold ! not happy at all

Originally said 20-25 min . Went up to 45 after 10 min

The last three times that I’ve ordered they have been missing parts of my order out. The first time they missed out a burger. The second time they gave no drinks with my meals. Then the third time they didn’t give one of the chicken and rice box meals and when I rang up the guy kept cutting me off and then was being rude ab it one minute telling me to deliver it it will take half an hour then the next telling me oh we can’t deliver because our driver stop delivering in an hour.

I never received it so it was either never delivered or given to someone else

ordered via ubereats. was missing 3x fries. called the restaurant and the man really apologetic. they sent the missing items as well as an unexpected freebie which was a lovely gesture. food 10/10 as always. Thank you

There were things that were lovely and we’d order again such as the rice box. Others were cold and needed heating which defeats the object of a takeaway for me. Ordered a plain corn on the cob and was sent peri peri but the flavours were nice.

There is no where in Middlesbrough that can cook chicken like these guys, the spices, taste , the sauces on point , I rather have from here than going to Sambuca Windmill

Went here for some munchies and we where not disappointed I had the BBQ Wrap meal (medium spice) and my Mrs had the Chicken Tasca (hot spice) meal and both where delicious perfectly cooked came hot and the Pepe's dusting on the chips was to die for turning regular chips into something else highly recommend this place the staff are very friendly and welcoming and ready to aid all your food needs 😁🤤

The chicken has a great flavour. There were a couple of times when the chicken wasn't cooked fully, but the rest of the times, it's great, which is why I keep going back. The service is great. Always greeted with the smile. I do recommend having the mild hot chicken if you're not into spicy foods that much.

Even though there was a bit of a wait, the staff handled it with kindness and professionalism—and to our surprise, they gave us free desserts as a thank-you for our patience. The service was attentive and friendly throughout. Once our food arrived, it was hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. It’s clear they care about both their food and their customers. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Good food, and friendly staff. I always go for my personal favourite chicken box, quality assured and tastes great. I go so often that the staff practically know me at this point, Abdullah always makes sure my order is taken care of, and Solomon always makes me feel welcome at the register.

Second time ordering from them and I can say it came in the best condition compared to others. The food taste and quality was also 100%! Chips were fried in clean oil and the chicken texture and taste was sooo good. Would definitely recommend again and again.

This place is fantastic from start to finish! The food is freshly cooked infront of you and the cleanliness of the place is commendable! The food was served very quickly and the lad who took my order was so polite, helpful and attentive- Solomon- he was called . Went in the other day and i was served by a very sound lad called solomon. Food came quickly, service was good and food was even better. Great place to scran.

Food is fine but Didn’t get drink that order at all

I asked them for chicken and rice. They said that they chicken and rice is finished at this time. You should get something else. When I asked for chicken wrap, they said that they can't make that at this time either. You should try something else. So I ordered half a chicken. The chicken was completely raw and had a bad taste.

The rice box too lemony maybe they have changed the rice. It used to be more like a pilao rice. 7 up tasted slightly odd. The xl burger was good but needs to be more smokey. I think the £7.50 mark for a meal deal is the holy grail. Perhaps do two burger meals for £15. Or a better deal on multiple meals on a single eat in order.

Amazing food, great service and friendly staff

This spot gave me mixed emotions. The first time I went I was harassed by another customer to order quicker. The first 3 times I've been, the chicken was fresh and the lemon and herb sauce was out of this world. However, the last 5 times I've been the food was bland and chicken was dry. It is unfortunately in a ghetto area which attracts all sorts of crazy people which affected my experience as well. The staff are very nice though.

Today, I had a very unpleasant experience with their service. I requested to clean the table the man on front was giving me the tissues to clean the table myself. There was leftover food on the table from someone else. When I requested to use the toilet, they said it was out of order. The chicken was not properly cooked, it was bad, when make complain he said we do same way this is all what we gave you can't do anything. and overall, the service was not good at all. Otherwise all other staff is very good.

Ordered 7:55pm Middlesbrough site said 35-40 minutes delivery. Waited then rang shop and was told no delivery drivers. Waited another 35 minutes for delivery. Ordered through Just Eat. Food prepared eventually at 8:30. Poor service from shop and Just Eat.

In terms of value for money it’s hard to beat. Consistent quality and unique flavour. The chicken wings are my favourite of anywhere I’ve been. Chicken burgers use soft white buns and the fries are always fresh and crispy, the chicken marinade has a nice balance of spice and citrus flavour in either medium or hot and the peri mayo is a perfect dip. Staff are friendly with special mention to their manager who always goes above and beyond.

Got the chick rice box meal for the price I was expecting it to be more tasty than it was I got hot spice and it was just flavourless not even the garlic sauce could save it

I ordered a burrito wrap meal. Probably the worst burrito I've had. It had about 90% rice, and I swear to you this isn't even a joke; it had one chicken strip in it! Don't order from here! I will never come back here myself! It is expensive for what you get. I would rather go to Dixy Chicken or Gold Peri Peri down the road. Smaller shops are way better than this!

I was told how nice this food place is, finally ordered and it was cold on arrival the food was not nice at all pasta was overcooked slop. Really disappointed.

Food arrived in paper bag and oil leaking out. My carpet is wrecked. Food is usually excellent but as well as a wrecked carpet I received a burrito (my usual order) that was about half the size it usually is despite me adding the extra chicken option. Also very confused why the need to add half a litre of oil to the salad. Usually great but this order has been awful

Horrific experience. 2 hours for food to come, when it usually takes 20 mins the driver decided to deliver atleast 3 orfers before mine so delivery took almost an hour, demanded a refund through just eat, sort it out pepes. usually isn't this bad! ordered 6pm now eating MICROWAVED food at 9pm.

Delivery from this restaurant takes 30minutes time after preparation of food. And when food is delivered it will be cool as a frizzed…

Brilliant service very good staff lady at the front was very polite

I received my order this evening by delivery and it was very strange to see no spoon nor fork with it, also no tissues! it was just the food, and I was wondering and thinking over and over how to take chicken rice! Despite the fact that I'm staying in a hotel! I could not imagine this level of service, and fogetting the basic elements! I thought it's going to be a good experience and continuing to have my meals there, but in vain!

My wife purchases often here and has never complained , so I tried for the first time last night, I had a gourmet chicken burger fully loaded meal, very nice indeed, however just one criticism the cheese on the chips maybe use an actual cheesy base sauce home made maybe that is hot , as it tasted like mild grated cheese melted around the chips and was all stuck together and cold. The onions fried a nice touch not oily, yes will order again but a bit pricey for Middlesbrough I think.

the staff is kinda weird sometimes, pepes on the Linthope road one. I had ordered crispy chicken burgers but he was so busy gossiping with other staff (really uncomfortable) that he gave me grilled ones.

The food was delicious and exceptional. But the customer service wasn’t as good as I expected.

I had a very bad experience with the staff at the till member, even she don't know how to talk with the customer a very rude behaviour. I hope in future there will be a welcoming staff and customer satisfaction.
