Pepe's in Middlesbrough

I have been in there today and the young lad who serves me was very rude. I asked if they sell a standard chicken burger and he said ‘you can see the menu’ shocking service avoid!

I ordered a burrito wrap meal. Probably the worst burrito I've had. It had about 90% rice, and I swear to you this isn't even a joke; it had one chicken strip in it! Don't order from here! I will never come back here myself! It is expensive for what you get. I would rather go to Dixy Chicken or Gold Peri Peri down the road. Smaller shops are way better than this!

Food arrived in paper bag and oil leaking out. My carpet is wrecked. Food is usually excellent but as well as a wrecked carpet I received a burrito (my usual order) that was about half the size it usually is despite me adding the extra chicken option. Also very confused why the need to add half a litre of oil to the salad. Usually great but this order has been awful

Horrific experience. 2 hours for food to come, when it usually takes 20 mins the driver decided to deliver atleast 3 orfers before mine so delivery took almost an hour, demanded a refund through just eat, sort it out pepes. usually isn't this bad! ordered 6pm now eating MICROWAVED food at 9pm.

Delivery from this restaurant takes 30minutes time after preparation of food. And when food is delivered it will be cool as a frizzed…

I received my order this evening by delivery and it was very strange to see no spoon nor fork with it, also no tissues! it was just the food, and I was wondering and thinking over and over how to take chicken rice! Despite the fact that I'm staying in a hotel! I could not imagine this level of service, and fogetting the basic elements! I thought it's going to be a good experience and continuing to have my meals there, but in vain!

I come here at least once a week. Always greeted with a smile and always asked how I am. 5* Service from the lovely ladies and gents at pepes boro. Foods always piping hot and fresh of the grill. ITS BETTER THAN NANDOS!!!!!

the staff is kinda weird sometimes, pepes on the Linthope road one. I had ordered crispy chicken burgers but he was so busy gossiping with other staff (really uncomfortable) that he gave me grilled ones.

My wife purchases often here and has never complained , so I tried for the first time last night, I had a gourmet chicken burger fully loaded meal, very nice indeed, however just one criticism the cheese on the chips maybe use an actual cheesy base sauce home made maybe that is hot , as it tasted like mild grated cheese melted around the chips and was all stuck together and cold. The onions fried a nice touch not oily, yes will order again but a bit pricey for Middlesbrough I think.

The food was delicious and exceptional. But the customer service wasn’t as good as I expected.

I had a very bad experience with the staff at the till member, even she don't know how to talk with the customer a very rude behaviour. I hope in future there will be a welcoming staff and customer satisfaction.

I tried to contact the driver as it was the wrong address and I alerted the driver however he didn’t bother contacting and on the app it said it was delivered I am really upset as my family I have not received any food as the driver thought he can get away with not delivering please can youses do something about it would be appreciated.

We ordered mild chicken, however, it was super spicy due to which our stomach are upset. Also, we put note of no leg piece and they sent leg piece.

Came down from Glasgow for the weekend and was needing some good dinner, Pepes was the one that provided and never fails. Full of flavour and perfection throughout. Definitely will be back when visiting Boro.

Food been spot on every time and it's rare to have a place take time to know their regulars too the point of knowing your order by heart and make you feel welcome every time, top scran top staff, you get your moneys worth in flavour and amount and there's something for everyone. this was the first time we ordered. the food was amazing the whole family enjoyed their tea tonight. the food was delivered quickly and was still red hot on arrival. It was also so kind of the restaurant they even put lolly pops in for the children. We will definitely be ordering again!! highly recommended

The perfect storm of terribleness. Firstly, it isn't a welcoming environment, the mood is poor and the store was really dirty, why haven't they wiped the tables down? I had to wait over 5 mins before I ordered, they knew I was there but were happy to make me wait. Then had to wait 25 mins before I even got my meal and what attitude I received for that. And the meal itself, the size of the burger was so small it looked like a kids meal. So effectively I overpayed for what I got. Not value for money. By the way, it was a basic meal, nothing fancy. Considering Boro is great for it's food, Pepe's should be on the last bottom of your list. There are so many other places to try within walking distance. So avoid these lot!

Eat from here 1-2 times a week. Food is incredible and the staff are so friendly going the extra mile to make sure our order is perfect.

This is the 2 time they messed the order . my family platter I paid and ordered peri peri salted chips paid extra 60p . But delivered normal chips .When I call to outlet ask me to report and get refund . It’s not a big amount but it’s me waiting for my food with the taste I want . If this is the attitude of pls working there it’s better to address them to make it right . Other day one of the item was not there but it’s my mistake I could not report . You don’t accept my order if 60p less init?

Popped in today while dropping the bairn back off for uni. Nice friendly service, excellent food especially with the extreme hot sauce on it.enjoyed it that much I bought a bottle of extreme and peri peri salt to take home. Will be back again in a few months guys when I come to collect the bairn at some point.

Visited yesterday, ordered using the click and collect service on the website, staff member that served me was very polite, food was very tasty and get alot for your money. We took out but plenty of seats if you want to sit in.

I ordered extra hot and lemon and herb and when I asked there was no sauce inside but one of the staff was very rude and shouting at me and me as I was trying to explaining but he was yelling at me saying I am working here for 2years I don’t why he is saying the same stuff for many time and I felt like like bit scary to talk to him…Been here for many times the other 2people was very friendly but the new guy was very rude…

Me and my friend have ordered the food online, we have ordered 3 portions of peri peri large fries and a paneer rice box, we have selected extra peri peri salt on the menu online and the order we received they have put the salt on the top of the fries , I reckon they only put extra peri peri salt for "sit in" not for deliveries or take aways. Secondly, I phoned the branch and one guy picked up the call and I told him that we have ordered 3 portions of large peri peri fries and he goes without confirming the address or order id anything, that he made the fries on his own that he was telling me he have put enough peri peri salt on it but you haven't I you read this, we have selected the option online and he doesn't know how much salt they put on the fries he is asking the fellow employees, that's a shame if you are in a rush of closing do it in a right way that we are ordering the food to enjoy it. Apologies if I am been rude but honestly not worth the money for fries without peri peri salt on it.! Thanks.!

The spicy rice were too spicy wasn't even able to take the 2nd spoon looks like they put all red chilli powder in it thrown all in bin . Really disappointed won't order again 😒 😕
