Wonderful selection of cakes, good big coffees, a small cosy place to go for coffee/tea and cake or a meal. Nice outside sitting area with some possibilities so sit in the shelter from wind. There is lots of stuff to look at and even a little shop where one can buy a little something. We will definitely come back.

Living locally we’d been meaning to try this place for ages. Service was polite and efficient. Unfortunately we were very disappointed at the lack of choice for lunch and ended up with the pulled beef brisket with onions in a brioche roll with chips. Very bland meal - roll was toasted dry and didn’t taste like brioche, meat was very sparse and tasteless even when dipped in the salty gravy served in a little saucer. Chips were ok - frozen but ok. For £15 we thought the meal was a ripoff..with two teas the bill was over £40! Shocking. Needless to say we won’t be back.

Just to say 'Thank you' for making my birthday so special. As a surprise, my friends brought me to Ann's Pantry. We go quite regularly but today was special. the food was second to none and the surprise birthday cake was extra special. The staff are always so courteous and obliging. Nothing ever is too much trouble. They are a hard working team. A credit to the establishment. Thank you to all concerned. Yet again, I look forward to my next visit.

Before and during my weeklong tour of Anglesey, I had several locals and fellow travelers recommend Ann's Pantry to me as a must-eat spot on the island. These recommendations were strong enough that I doubled back about 20 miles to give it a shot. I was not disappointed. The double-burger, the salad, the raspberry lemonade, walnut cake, and mocha were all top-tier delicious. My server was welcoming, attentive, and quick with recommendations. The atmosphere was charming and relaxing. I really can't think of any negatives. Very dog-friendly for those of you with four-legged friends who travel with you.

We visited Ann’s Pantry for lunch on the bank holiday after the lockdown measures were eased off and what a pleasant surprise it was. The staff were wonderful and COVID-19 measures were second to none. The outside seating is beautiful with a nice view of the sea. The best of all was the tasty food. We had the halloumi flat bread and falafel Buddha bowl. These were both some of the best we’ve had and the locally sourced coffee is a treat too. Food was good but customer service needs improvement. Small improvements would make a big difference in the experience of visiting Ann’s Pantry. Little things such as a plate to discard tea bags on (should we have put them on the table?) or asking if we need any sauces. The basics were just not covered. Strange that you’re not allowed to order breakfast after 11.45 and lunch until 12pm as this means waiting 15 minutes with staff refusing to take an order. Strikes me as a little odd. Staff also didn’t seem familiar with the menu. The food we did order was good and the tea was great. Cute little place but just a few tweaks would make it so much better for customers.

We were met on the path down between the cafe and seating area by a very helpful young man who ask if we wanted a table. He went inside to see where a table was available when a very rude stoney faced women snapped at us to wait on the pavement. We were then sat at a table inside and asked to order online. This was ok for me but my parents who were with me wouldn’t have had clue what to do. We ordered and it came and for what we received it was expensive. 2 slices of thin bread with cheap margarine on with a bit of grated cheese a small tub of chutney that wasn’t quite enough for both sides of the sandwich. It came with a nice side salad though. My flat white was in a small cardboard cup and not very warm and it was £3.80 which is more expensive than some coffee chains. A side of chips (frozen chips) were £3.50 and not very many for the price. On our way out the lady that snapped at us was snapping at someone else. We quickly moved of the path to the pavement where she then followed us with rubbish bags snapping excuse me. I’ve visited This area a lot but it’s the first time I’ve eaten here. I won’t bother next time I visit.

This ensures they can do their bit for track and trace. We just need more training..... They are, however, prepared to take orders the old fashioned way when you aren’t quite up to speed. Coffee and toast was lovely. I would happily return to try some other delights. The garden was set up for comfortable social distancing and ready for inclement weather. We were so excited to enter this quaint little cafe and have some cover from the heavy rain only to be met with a fierce faces and sour manager who's attitude was far from friendly or helpful. The QR scanner wasn't working properly and she barked at us that most people don't have a problem with it. She talked about the importance of keeping her customers safe due to Covid-19 yet she was less than a foot away. To top it off we got served a hot chocolate that was 50% cream and 50% tepid water. When we asked for some salt and pepper she sighed as if we were asking for a left limb. The only saving grace was the lovely Brazilian woman with a big smiley face. On holiday in Anglesey and walking around the Moelfre area. Asked a local if they knew of somewhere to get a cup of coffee and we were directed to this quirky little place down an alleyway, near the bus stop. There are tables both inside and out but it was very busy. That said, we managed to find a table inside and were quickly given menus. Our order was quite basic, one flat white coffee, two pots of tea, one teacake, one scone with clotted cream and jam and one chocolate brownie. My coffee was the best I have had in a long time. The tea was loose leaf and strong which my wife and daughter enjoyed. The cakes? Well, they were very nice. My daughter had the chocolate brownie which turned out to be twice as big as you would normally expect. She struggled valiantly to eat it but she is a chocoholic and was not to be beaten! We observed lots of meals being delivered to other customers which all looked absolutely lovely. Despite the fact we are only here for the week, we will have to go back and take lunch there before we go. The staff are taking the current Coronavirus very seriously and are asking customers, out of preference to use contactless cards when paying their bills. This however is not compulsory, just a request to help stop the spread of the disease. This is also a dog friendly restaurant.

We went on a recommendation from friends and were very disappointed. The lunchtime menu was very limited, and we settled for sandwiches. My wife's cheese sandwich appeared to have no butter on it, and when she queried it, she was confidently informed that there was butter on one of the two slices making the sandwich. She was told this in a way that conveyed that this was to be expected. She was then asked if she would like some more butter and when she said yes, was carefully handed just one pre wrapped butter pat which was not adequate. We have never before been served sandwiches without butter on one of the slices. They did have gluten free bread however, but gluten free bread and cheese is extremely dry without a reasonable amount of butter. We paid quite a lot for what we got.

It seemed to have it all and I'm almost feeling guilty writing an adverse review.I had paid for my car parking , we were warm and comfortable, the atmosphere was perfect and I was really hungry but try as I might I could not find anything on the menu to tempt me. There were meat dishes and veggie stuff but nothing for the inbetween fish and chicken eaters (ok there was salmon quiche - hate quiche).I give Ann's Pantry an average rating purely on the menu choice. My wife and I visited in July when we came to Anglesey for a two night stay. We love Moelfre, in particular the beautiful lifeboat station and wanted somewhere to eat. We stopped at Anne’s Pantry as it looked interesting and was a Sunday, with nowhere else obviously open. Interesting was all it proved to be. We were taken to our seats and told the only food available was on the specials board inside. When the waiter came to take our order he asked if we wanted chips with it which weren’t previously available. I was surprised and the waiter offered no explanation. We ordered sandwiches and a mushroom dish with tea, there were no prices for drinks, no menu offered and the whole thing came to over £15, it was nothing special. It wasn’t busy, but service was slow with a lot of the staff being very distracted. The toilets are upstairs and not particularly nice. When I went to pay I was told to go to the other room despite there being a till and counter right next to us. I am disabled and it’s quite a difficult place to get around. When I went to pay, there was a board over this new till which we didn’t even know was there, with lots of other food options on. It seems like they are there to take advantage of the tourist trade and nothing else and offer no real benefits at all to being there. I really just wanted to leave as soon as we had finished. It’s a disappointing and expensive tourist trap.

A very friendly waiter, who introduced himself as Owain asked if we’d like a high chair for the baby and bought it out to us. I had the vegan flatbread-comes highly recommend! My boyfriend had a ham and cheese sandwich which he enjoyed, bread was nice and soft. And the baby had a child’s mezze, a nice change to have a healthy kids choice. When seeing the struggle we were having with wasps the young water offered us a table inside and carried the baby in for us :)

Our last night of the holidays and so glad I had made an evening booking at Ann's Pantry. Service, food and surroundings brilliant. All the family had a lovely evening.

We only went for morning tea /cake. Cake choice was nothing that gave any wow factor but offered good traditional fare, we opted for scones with cream and jam. The scones were very large and this was matched by a decent portion of cream and jam. Chai spiced tea was delicious and plentiful. In aug there is a bit of a wasp problem and this forced us in doors, it would be beneficial if they put out some decent wasp traps at this time of year after the beneficial work of the wasp has been completed. Service was very efficient and the setting itself is very pleasant with lovely outdoor space.

Visited and had tea and sandwich. The service was rather hit and miss and the food was average. The shop upstairs was very good.

We had breakfast here on our first morning in Moelfre thinking we had stumbled across a gem of a place. Wrong.....!

Very disappointed, limited menu, no atmosphere. The lamb could have come from Iceland. The veg was dull. Not ever a complainer but this was a meal that was supposed to finish off a lovely holiday !! 👎

We were so disappointed with this café that I felt I had to leave a review. We were visiting Anglesey for the day and it was pouring with rain. Had a look for cafes in the area and found this one looked lovely, paid to park and went inside. It looked lovely, staff seemed friendly. Ordered 2 luxury hot chocolates, we waited 20 minutes for them to come out, loaded with cream and Maltesers they looked lovely but when we tasted then they were just instant chocolate made with water. So sad as I really wanted to like the place for future visits!

Happy to get seated with our little dog inside on a sunshine and heavy-showery day. Order was taken promptly and drinks arrived. All good. Waited about 30 mins for our carrot and coriander soups x 4 ... which, when they arrived, were cold. No apologies were forthcoming, but soups were taken back and reheated.

It has been over a year since I wrote my first review about Anne's Pantry - I was happy then and I'm still impressed! As you can see from my picture they are constantly moving forward, it's not just amazing sandwiches they do but other exciting options too and the cakes are amazing. Great for kids too. You can really see from every dish that they are passionate about what they do. Well recommend.

Extortionate prices for the most simple of menus - 11 pound for the smallest English breakfast I’ve ever seen - menu seems confused and strange for a sea side cafe to serve little to no fish is just wrong Won’t be visiting again

the experience is distinctly average of a very over priced menu. The breakfast at £11.00 with drinks extra is around 2 times what it is worth for comparable venue's in the area. Good luck to the owners if they can find sufficient customers who are happy to be taken for a ride. will avoid going again.

Having decided on a weekend to Angelsey in the motorhome we chose a site near Benllech and Marion Glas. Walking from the site onto the coastal path led us to Modes and Anne's Pantry.

Doesn't look much from the car park. Go through the arch to the beer garden, it's like the wardrobe to Narnia. Open fronted glamping pod, table in a boat, an unbelievable Hobbit house, fully furnished, with books in a bookcase. Go down the steps to the garden terrace overlooking the bay. Comfy and sheltered seating, with stunning views. Is dog friendly too. The beer is no worse a price than tourist places. And is a decent pint. Ignore the naysayers. It's a very pleasant place for relaxing with a drink. We will be returning.
