I did my eyebrows in this salon , I like the shape of my eyebrows, buuuuut the lady that did my eyebrows her hand was so smelly I think she was eating or cutting onion I was going to to faint whenever she move her hands 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫 I felt embarrassed to stop her , please take care of your self hygiene no one want to smell onion and garlic for 20 min straight 🤮🤮🤮🤮 Ps if you don’t mind low hygiene her work is very good and the price is reasonable I payed around 4 or 5 £ not sure .

Absolutely destroyed my nails- do not use this place for nail services. I ended up at Anjalis last minute as my usual nail tech let me down prior to an event. I was cautious, but on a recommendation tried Anjalis. I specifically asked for my nails not to be ground down with the machine, and I was assured that she wouldn't do that. She was struggling to remove the Shellac from previous, probably because she wasn't using foil wraps but just soaking my nails in acetone. That should have been the first red flag to me, but regretfully I carried on. She said she needed to lightly use the grinding machine to take the top layer off, but before I knew it she was grinding the actual nail, and the damage was done. It is taking months to grow out the damage she has done. My nails are thin, and weak and you can see the line and impression where she grinded my nail awa. I really wish I could attach a pic to this review. The gel colours are cheap and old. Please do not waste your time here, spend your hard earned money elsewhere.It may be cheap but there is a reason for that!

I had a pedicure and a manicure from Hannah... What a fantastic experience she so lovely. Exfoliate my calfs has well . Great mini spa experience.. This is definitely a treatment I would have definitely have again.

A lady with spects she did my eyebrows .She is chewing the gum all the time when she was doing my eyebrows. I have a good shape eyebrows she spoiled it she made one side so thinner and other side broader. She is new . Her response was so rude Please try to be nice to the customers . If you spoil be sorry to them but dont be rude

Used to be good with the two ladies The new staff is untrained I went for bikini wax today and she made me bleed like a slotered lamb. I said to her that I was not happy about it she could not be fussed! She said apply vaseline. I still had to pay. It was a good place but I will never go back again as horrible service and unboothered staff!

I wish I could give them zero star. I used to go there every single time I needed any facial hair removed, but recently staff/one of the staff members has become extremely ill mannered and rude. She is really mean and doesn’t know how to offer any level of customer service. She was threading my lip and decided it didn’t need her attention and began speaking to her colleague. I don’t speak Punjabi but I understand when someone is being offensive and she most definitely was. Completely unacceptable behaviour. I politely asked if she is okay because the way she was talking to me was really mean, she said to me “it’s your thinking problem” not hers, and started making faces. Never going there again. I think the owner needs to train theses mannerless people or consider employing others.

Do not get your brows done here..... No matter how much you ask them to do the shape you want, ask for thinner tails, even get rid of your monibrow, don't bother. They'll miss hairs make you brows lopsided and omg the shape is atrocious. After this I wouldn't even pay for any other treatment expecially a foot ped after the women that worked their was sat in the chair with her outdoor shoes where the customers feet are getting treatment.

Very bad experience with this place and totally no customer service.No point to book an appointment here because they will serve who they want without even to apologies.I don't recommend it this business,stay away from them 😤😠

Excellent customer service, always buzzing

This place has gone downhill over the past few years. Prices have increased but it does not reflect the service offered. I recently visited for eyebrow threading and I had a terrible experience. The staff member was inexperienced, leaving stray hairs all around my eyebrows. I had to guide the staff member on which hairs to thread away. The staff were busy chatting to each other instead of working professionally and focusing on their job. I spent ages sitting and stretching my skin while the staff member threading was laughing away with the other staff member next to her. Highly unprofessional. There needs to be management put into place and staff need to be trained. The head rest of the chair was broken, leaving me in an uncomfortable position for fifteen minutes and giving me neck pain. Once the threading was finished, the staff member offered some gel on a round cotton pad cut into a small quarter which was not enough for the eyebrow area. I was left with stray hairs and sore skin. For the following few days, I had cuts all around my eyebrows which was horrible considering I had my eyebrows done for a special occasion. Absolutely awful and a shame because this place used to be the best in Smethwick.

I have been traveling some distance and going to this place for about 10 years they give probably the best by both reading i've ever had.... I went recently and they seem to have added nail bars, the only thing i didn't like was the music was way too loud and probably inappropriate

Great service and friendly staff. Did a great haircut and eyebrows job. Really good for the price too. The only down side was that my appointment was at 11am and I didn't get my haircut until 12.30pm. So there might be a delay.

The beauticians who do the threading are 'proper', not the people who say they can thread a cut you or rip off too much hair! They actually take their time and do it to your satisfaction!

Segunda visita a este restaurante y aunque la comida está bien, sin duda le falta ambiente. El servicio es mediocre y camareros parece desinteresado. Este fue un domingo y nos dieron los menús además de un pequeño folleto sobre la opción buffet del domingo puesto sobre la mesa. Habría sido agradable si esta opción y la oferta que se habían explicado a mí y a mi amigo. Optamos por ir en el menú y la comida era bastante bueno y el vegetal nan estaba muy bien, pero no me gustó el aspecto de la pantalla bhajis. Los currys elegimos eran lo suficientemente bueno y había mucha comida. Sin embargo, la buena iluminación y ambiente en general no me corriendo con un cualquier momento pronto. El Cobra lager era realmente bueno, pero tenía una enorme cabeza para que el agua se disculpó.

Estábamos teniendo una escapada de fin de semana fuera Shrewsbury. Nos decidimos por el sábado por la noche nos apetecía indio pero no quería ir al centro de la ciudad. El único lugar que encontramos era Anjalis - no te arrepentirás. No es un mal restaurante, limpio y el servicio era bueno. Algunos platos únicos interesantes en el menú, tenía pollo Zeema que sonaba interesante, pero era muy sabrosa y una buena opción. Si estamos en la zona nos alegraría volver

Esta fue la comida india blandest que he probado en mi vida! Comí pollo Karai y mi esposo Rogan Josh de pollo y ninguno tuvo cualquier sabor. No volveremos otra vez. Éramos un grupo grande de 16 pero esto no excusa falta de sabor.

I have been going to the Anjali for a number of years and have never been let down by their warm welcome, top notch service and outstanding food. They are a little more expensive than some but they are worth it.

This is quite simply the best curry house around Shrewsbury. Food is good, service is friendly and quick and they will always tailor to everyone's taste. I'll be back again soon!

I've eaten great asian food all around the country, as I travel a lot, but nowhere beats Anjalis. Consistently the best, and a great and varied menu. Buffet nights Tuesdays and Sunday evenings terrific, and great value.

Visited on their Tuesday buffet night. There was an excellent choice of starters and main courses. My children 8 and 10 enjoyed it very much. The food is excellent value and the staff are very friendly.

This review refers to a spur of the moment visit very early on a Thursday evening on a really cold snowy evening. The restaurant had only just opened and we were the first customers. As usual we had a very friendly greeting from the staff who have been running the premises for several years.I eat a lot of curry and particularly like the option to have a split main course here. Tonight's choice was a duck garlic chilli with a Chicken chessy - a really nice mixture of sweet with slightly hotter and spicier.All the extras were as good as usual so despite being quiet we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening again

I have been going to this restaurant for over 10 years and can honestly say I haven't had a bad meal - in fact it the best in the Shrewsbury Mid Wales area. I should know as I have eaten at most and do try others but always revert to Anjalis - great place and wonderful chicken tika madras.

Always love visiting Anjalis, wonderful food, the Saag Tikka Special is mouthwatering. The staff are always so friendly and accommodating. Well worth a visit.

Been here a few times now and the food has always been good. On a Tuesday they do a set price buffet, which is excellent value.

This is the best indian in shrewsbury, you won't want to go anywhere else once you've been. The staff are friendly and the food is excellent. A little drive out of the town centre but worth every mile!
