Angkor Wat Khmer Takeaway in Staffordshire Moorlands

Waited for 50 minutes after ordering only to get a text saying the order had been cancelled and they were closed.

Absolutely first class food promptly delivered and piping hot. As a first time user of Angkor Watt I can honestly say that the delicious food that they prepared for me exceeded all of my expectations and is definitely better than some well established Thai restaurants that I have eaten in. My red chicken curry was cooked perfectly with exactly the right amount of heat. My coconut nice was sticky and fluffy and tasted lovely . You are now top of my list for takeaway food in Leek……Thank you so much

Looks a little rough outside but the food was epic! Just a shame we're only visiting the area but we would absolutely strongly recommend!

Absolutely wonderful! I usually wait untill I try a place twice before leaving a review, but I couldn't fault the authentic Cambodian food we had here. We had the Cambodian curry which was beautifully cooked, and the vegetables were cooked well. If you enjoy Thai style cuisine you will definitely enjoy Angkor Wat. Looking forward to our next takeaway!

Tried this takeaway for the first time last night for a meal for four friends. We were absolutely delighted with the food. Every dish was very tasty, but the highlights were the Amok Fish and Green Peppercorn curry. All the food was beautifully cooked with lovely fresh ingredients.

Fab food - we've had takeaways from Angkor Wat twice now and both were superb. Five different dishes last night; all were distinct with totally different flavours, unlike some places we've had food from! Owners claim it is the best Cambodian food in town. In fairness, it's the only Cambodian food in Leek but I would gladly travel some distance to get it. Highly recommended.

Amazing green chicken curry! So fragrant and perfectly seasoned. The avocado rolls were good but a little lacking on the avocado content. I was very happy to find this take out in Leek. I used to be a chef in a Cambodian Restaurant called Kambuja over in Marple, Stockport, and the food there was fabulous. Angkor Wat is just a good. Its great to see more Cambodian food places opening in other towns. I will definitely be back to try other things. The Lamb Rendang is not to be missed, but unfortunately they had sold out on the night I ordered.

Best takeaway in the local area

Had a takeaway from here last night and it was so delicious. I had the duck special with the noodles and I would thoroughly recommend.

I stumbled on this little place on an over night trip to Leek. The food was amazing, I honestly have not tasted better takeaway food for a long long time. Highly recommended

A real gem of a place, still not that well known as it doesn't really advertise. Really good food (Sriracha honey ribs starter is gorgeous!) and friendly service too. Highly recommended.

I've met the owner of Angkor Wat on play ground one day and he told me about his restaurant and food he cooks. We decided to try it today and it was delicious! Arrived quickly and a decent amount of food still piping hot! We will definitely order again!

Second time eating here, fresh, delicious Cambodian food, somewhat similar to Thai. Feels much healthier and less artificial compared to Chinese takeaways and far less heavy than Indian food. Real treat having this place so local.

Amazing quality takeaway food. Even delivered by the chef himself! Obviously very proud of his cuisine. Definitely a distinctive cuisine that is a little like Thai food with a different herb/spice profile. Eaten from here a few times and never ever disappoints

Whilst away in Ilam we decided to have a takeaway from Angkor Wat. Oh my days it was amazing. I wish they were near by so we could have a takeaway from them more often. We both had the red curry with seitan. It was the best we’ve ever had in this country. Highly recommend this takeaway. Customer service is also excellent and they make you feel very welcome. A+++++++

Awesome food, we ordered 3 mains and all were great, I loved the green peppercorn one. Friendly service with a smile, not over priced. If I lived in Leek I'd be tempted to eat there every day! Forget your English versions of Chinese food and sweet and sour in a sickly sauce dump the brown sludge of your "indian" takeaway and support this amazing place full of wonderful flavours

We’ve just had our first takeaway from Angkor Wat and it was great. We’ve lived in Asia for many years and this was the most authentic takeaway we’ve experienced since we’ve been back.

I don’t normally go for a take away as I don’t normally like Indian or Chinese food, but we didn’t want to cook so we thought we would try Cambodian. I have to damit, I was very pleasantly surprised: the young lady serving me was really friendly and the food (vegetarian) we chose (a green pepper dish and a cashew dish) were absolutely delicious! I would definitely go there again. It wasn’t possible to pay by card though, but I had anticipated the possibility and taken cash. Thanks for a really tasty meal. 💕

What a lovely friendly place. First time here. We don’t do alot of takeaways as often disappointed. But this is one we will absolutely return to again and again. The coconut rice was lovely and we had two vegetable dishes as vegetarians. The food was fabulous so full of flavour. All the meals had a veggie option again brilliant as veggie options can be limited. What an absolute great place to have in Leek

Was going to the Chinese and parked more or less outside Angkor Wat Khmer, so thought I’d give it a try and I was delighted that I did! Excellent food and full of wonderful flavours. I had the Green Curry with Chicken, mixed vegetables, egg fried rice and crackers. I can’t recommend enough, delicious. I don’t very often write reviews but was so happy with my meal I thought I should let everyone know about it! Keep up the good work, I will be back very soon!

We have had two takeaways from Angkor Wat takeaway. We couldn't fault either meal that we had - we had a good selection of food from across the menu. The Fish Amok reminds us exactly of what we had in Cambodia, and the other food...

Refreshing to have such an excellent offering locally. We had three meals from there so far, and all three were very tasty. The very friendly owner will deliver on weekdays for a small charge. Long may it continue.
