Terrible. Somehow the fish batter was dry with large greasy patches at the same time. I won't be back. Cash only apparently.

Really fast delivery. Chips and kebab were cracking but pizza could be a bit better. Toppings were a bit watery and salami felt gummy and cheap but overall a good chippy 👍

This fish and chip shop is my go to within my local area. I have a closer fish and chip shop to me on Easter Road although this establishment is far superior. Staff are very polite and curious upon taking your order. Food always comes piping hot and freshly cooked without being overly greasy. Highly recommended

Never experienced more better service. They made a mistake on one order as we had ordered 2 items and we phoned them to tell them and they actually send us another order without charging us and also they send us a free bar of chocolate and a bottle of juice. Best service and only the food would have been enough but boss went far to keep us happy. Deffo order from this place. The hoggie wrap is amazing btw

I have ordered two pizzas. One was very burned, second one very poor quality of ingredients. Chicken looks and taste like frozen, bacon like not bacon more than cheap ham Generally speaking awful.

I have worked in chip shops all my life so know a good chippy and this is a good one. Love the fact they haven't jumped on the band wagon by using boxes and are still using the good old paper wrapping that keeps your food hot longer and the fact they put my pickles in with my food which makes them more enjoyable. Can't fault this place at all and good fast delivery with a nice driver xx

I've not bad a bad meal from this place, food usually delivered within 30 minutes hot and fresh. The prices are good compared with other local chippies and the drivers friendly as an added bonus.

Fish is cooked well in advance and stored in hot plates, so when you get it, it is overcooked, soggy and not very nice, chips are good. Why oh why? can't they cook the fish to order.

I have been to this Chippy four or five times now, the staff are really great and helpful. The donnar meat was good too and that’s a rarity these days. I had a pizza last night and enjoyed it as-well.

Can you tell me what the difference is between a large and a small donner kebab?? Just the price is it? Exactly the same amount of food in each of them!

Customer service is rubbish. I was waiting for my fish supper for 25 minutes. The woman at the counter was serving all the delivery drivers first than she started to serve all those people who arrived after me. She said I need to wait because the fish is frying still but every time when one was ready she gave to some one else. I just walked out after a while. I don't recommend this place

Food is fantastic, have never had a complaint there- however, no one in the shop (workers or Deliveroo drivers and often customers) wears a mask. The last time we were there I watched the staff take out the trash and not wash their hands afterwards as well… probably will be finding another local takeaway after that

If you need 1 hour to deliver a pizza, I can't image what can happen in a big order. I got a message it says ETA 10 mins and it cane exactly after 54 mins for pizza... Poor skills communication, As about taste, it's all good, I can find better and faster.

I order a chicken kebab for my and my Mrs. They arrived Just after a closing. Unfortunatley the chicken is a lamb wich nit smell good. Our diner was ruined. Will never order again

It used to be our favourite low budget pizza place. 2 weeks ago we decided to buy pizza first time in a while. The pizza was absolutely awful, soggy and cold. We phoned up to complain, as an apology new pizza was sent to us which had no other Ingredients than just something that looked like cheese, uneatable! It landed in a bin! Last Friday we decided to give this place another chance so I ordered a chicken wrap which used to be my fav, but not this time unfortunately. It was barely wrapped, basically falling apart and as I still tried eating it I found thick black hair in it! Absolutely Disgusting!!! NO I won't recommend this place to anyone who appreciates decent food!! And NO we won't be back!!

I want to make this clear the staff are great the shop is very nice and clean "BUT" I ordered a portion of kebab meat you got a load for £3 but once I tasted it I worked out why it was cheap it was awful it wasn't wrongly cooked it was just cheap quality

Been here a few times and it's always been great. You can get deep fried Mars bars and toffee crisps here too if you like them.

Garlic bread pizza was horrible tasted like mushrooms as think it was deep fried. Salad on the Donnor wrap was not fresh.

Waited hour and half for a pizza to be delivered...called during this time to enquire where the pizza was, was told it was out for delivery, second time of phoning was told waiting for delivery driver... it was not the fact it was hour and half later, the fact of being lied to in the first call. Found 5 separate hairs on my food & couldn't eat any more after that. Additionally, the donner kebab meat was disgusting (a bit like chewing dog food).

Okay so I ordered chips, fish and curry. The delivery was super fast from order, curry sauce was on point. There was barely any fish within the batter and the chips needed so much ketchup because they we're so dry.

I must be really unlucky considering the all great reviews below. The delivery was super quick (though ordering nearby). Apart from that, the pizza literally stinks. I blame the “ham” (or whatever it is they call that). Once taken out the rest is eatable, but only with lots of ketchup. Otherwise it just still smells like food poisoning. The price may be low indeed, but it’s just not worth it. Ordered a small pizza (really starving) and half of it ended up in the bin.

Honestly one of the best food places have ever ordered from. food is so good and amazing price. We order from them nearly every night as its so good quick and teasty and will continue to do so untill I can be bothered cooking.

Fish is always fresh - nice light tasty batter, mountain of chips!!! - staff always friendly - Not given 5 starts due to one evening chips been on the lighter/soggy/under cooked side... But keep going back. Prices are fair - but really need to get with times - They dont take card, this is the 21st century Angelos!

Always been there. Changed hands a few times, I grew up with it under the ownership of Tony, Great guy. Angelo now owns it and has modernised it considerably. Food is good, Service is too notch whether walking in or having it delivered. 5*
