Angelo's Take Away in Stockton-on-Tees

So me and my family decided we want angelos and try something new for once so we made our order which was : cheesy chips and garlic (6 portions ) pineapple pizza and pepperoni pizza all which were large . Now it good is 20 minutes, 5 DAYS LATER this food shows up my son had already starved and my daughter was on the verge and we needed food ASAP. So we got the food opened the bag only to find out we had 16 large fish and chips not to mention the cheese was moldier then my toes and the fish was being eaten by a tape worm that had grew to 70 INCHES LONG!!! So we rang up and they told us you get what you are given sent the delivery driver back to collect this disgusting food he also spat in my face and said never disrespect angelos again so if there was an option for 0 stars I would take it but would not recommend at all very disappointed and angry

Tonight Angelos doesn't even deserve one star, after ordering at 18.10 our order didn't arrive until 20.10 !! When opening the order our bag was full of garlic as the chips cheese and garlic was absolutely drenched in garlic sauce, dripping from the container, then we discover one of our pizzas is missing. I rang the restaurant immediately and they apologised after hearing the guy on the phone speaking about their mistake to their "manager" as he told me she was. They then promised my pizza would be with me in 20 minutes... ONE HOUR LATER... So lets be clear... this is now 3 hours after I had origionally ordered I find myself ringing the restaurant again to find out where my pizza is and was told it would be yet another 45 minutes to wait !!! What a joke ! No offence but I hung up on the guy and my partner is now making me a bacon sandwich.... NICE ONE

Ordered a chicken wrap which stated coleslaw as a side but when delivered all salad was inside the wrap. Whilst I can't disagree of the temperature my wrap on delivery when opened the salad plus the slaw had already leaked out and soaked the wrap very disappointed

we have used this takeaway many times over the years but will only buy from in shop(which is not that often as we prefer delivery) numerous occasions forgot sauces or side salads -theres almost always something missing off delivery orders.

Second time I’ve ordered from here. The first time they forgot the large tub of chilli sauce but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered again tonight.... when I ordered I mentioned about the forgotten large tub of chilli sauce last time and they assured me it would come this time. Upon receiving the delivery we had 3 tubs of garlic sauce.. one large and 2 medium... they sent one TINY tub of chilli which would barely do for a chip!

used this pizza shop for years then the owner started putting managers in noticed the difference in food straight away service terrible deliveries taking to long bring back the owner

Delicious food, kebab meat could be better other then that it was really good! They delivered earlier then expected time too!

I absolutely love this place, the majority of times I order it’s 10/10 but every now and again I get a bad batch of chips, dry as a bone like they’ve been refried from the night before. i know wasting stock isn’t ideal but I cry into my pillow every time I get a bad batch :’( please save my pillows. fresh chips every time <3

Very disapointed. We waited two hours for our food for it to be cold when it arrived. One of the pizzas was supposed to be a chicken and mushroom and the chicken was not put on it. It is really annoying when you wait this long for your order to not even be correct. Tried to ring and complain but the phone is constantly engaged.

Disappointed in service tonight! normally brilliant service with nice food but tonight was not good- ordered food at 19:30 for delivery at 20:30. contacted the shop at 21:00 as food had not arrived and they had told me it was on its way now, again contacted the shop at 21:30 to ask where the food was which they stated it had just finished being made now and they were just waiting for a driver explaining it would be 20 minutes with a rude person from the shop having this conversation with me. food arrived at 21:50 and after waiting nearly two and a half hours for food it was only just warm if that! not happy at all and I'm very disappointed with this takeaway as it is usually not a problem

Food and speedy delivery whete spot on, especially the chips 👍 only one little niggle, I ask them for no onions on my pizza, but I got onions, they just need to read the customer notes,

Ordered at 8.20pm on a Thursday still waiting at 10.15pm absolute joke

Disappointed at out food arriving 45 minutes late. Our food was supposed to arrive at 7.50pm so I waited until 8.10pm and rang to see where it was. I was told they were waiting for a delivery driver and didn’t even get an apology. Food finally got here at 45 minutes late. This has put me off using again.

When the food was delivered, it was wrong. The Wrap had the wrong sauce on which meant it couldn't be eaten.

Only just started eating from Angelos - beautiful fast food for our takeaway night and we dont mind a delay on busy nights but over an hour late without updating the tracking spoilt our evening plans. Very friendly staff when we called to check over an hour later but we had 2 families eating from different takeaways and by the time this arrived the other order had been delivered and eaten. Just a brief notification would have been spot -on.

Will not use again waited 1hr 40 mins before phoning shop to be told it's nearly ready will be with you in 20 mins what a joke I've used this shop from being 14 year old 20 years and now every time I order they get i wrong or they don't turn up

2nd time ordering from here the cheesy garlic bread was amazing and the parmos were really good maybe a bit too much cheese and white sauce but I will definitely be ordering from here again think we've found our new place😊

Customer service was disgraceful when there was an issue with my order. Would never order from there again. The only good thing about it was the delivery time. No good rushing to get food out if you can't get it right though!!

Food arrived late, only had the pizza and none of the extras thar we paid for and ordered. Before we even had chance to ask the delivery driver where the rest of the order was he was in the car and had left. I understand it was the last delivery of the night so we couldn't ring up when it was late or to ask for the rest of the order. Very disappointed

I ordered a parmo and chips as well as a Donna wrap with just lettuce in and a tub of garlic after waiting longer than was told for food it turned up and the boxes and wrappers stunk of ciggerette smoke which instantly put us off the tub of garlic was missing so I has to pay for someone to bring one the food was cold and chips were like cardboard because they were so cold and Stun k of smoke not happy at all and will never be ordering from here again and telling others also

Food was ordered at 10 was supposed to be delivered at 11 didn't arrive until 12, wasn't warm and was very chewy. Won't be ordering from here again.

The drink was warmer than the food, and I could have broke a window with the pitta bread. This was after being over an hour late. I will never order from here again and would advise people to do the same. Why do takeaways think this is acceptable and can get away with it!

The pizza was spot on as always! creamed cabbage was absolutely gorgeous but the chicken Parmesan was undercooked. my mam had to eat round the edges as the meat was still pink in the middle. very disappointed. since it was the first time ordering a parmo, it just ended up in the bin :(

Guy turns up and gives me 5 quid change in silver coins and doesn't give me the full ammount because he doesn't have enough.

Food was cold..refused a refund...didn't even offer to replace....2nd time we've tried here and both times have been a disgrace...soon took the money...as a good will gesture just eat refunded us a 5£ voucher

Were'nt happy to be honest. Seemed as though we recieved the last batch on the pan as the cheese on both Parmo's and Bolognese had a very overpowering sour taste. Couldn't finish and had to bin it.

I oreded a big meal deal which comes with a harf original chicken Parmo got a pepperoni Hot n Spicy Parma instead put me off

The garlic bread was lovely but we did put in the comments to put garlic sauce on everything, we even stated we would pay extra if required but they didn't put any on, resulting in really dry food which couldn't be eaten. What I ate of the food was nice but a little bland due to the lack of garlic. The pricing is a little high aswell for what you get, which is disappointing.

I order from here multiple times a week and Is usually amazing however on this one occasion the half the pizza was completely bare as during delivery it obviously hadn't been handled carefully at all, the cheese was all over the other side of the box.

Food turned up cold, I ordered 2 small garlics, they never came, when I rang up about it they just put the phone down on me, tried ringing again, and yet put the phone down on me, half of the order was missing. Will not be coming back.

40 minutes later than advised, restaurant marked order as delivered when it had only just left the shop. Don't mind waiting, just tell the truth on the time estimate.

The food took an hour and 40 minutes to arrive and when it did it was absolutely vile. Garlic bread was like a door stop struggles to rip it apart and Parmesan was awful tasted like poor quality meat similar to processed chicken and wasn't even covered in béchamel sauce or cheese properly. I wouldn't have given it to the dog!

Ripped us off , missed a full pizza and tub of garlic off the delivery , phoned the shop and it was before 1am on a bank holiday Sunday and they said they had turned everything off and asked us if they can owe us , so we will see if I get a refund for money owed , recorded the phone convo too just in case , will not use this company again though , very disappointed , shame Cos I've loved Angelos for 15 years , gutted

You won't find a better pizza in Teesside, really authentic style pizza base good quality cheese, chicken and other ingredients. Pizzas are not like any of the other bland pizzas you'll get else where in Teesside. Not had a parmo from here in ages so I couldn't comment on them. I ordered at a set time, came 5 minutes late but can live with that.

i always get a onion pizza i would like to see more onion put on the pizza

Waited an hour for my food then she. It came the parmo tasted rubbery. Didn't taste fresh at all. The chips were crusty. The salad tasted like rubber. They gave me a normal instead of a diet coke!! If you order from here don't get a parmo. Chips cheese and garlic is your safest bet!! Could hardly eat the chicken was the worst parmo I've ever had!!

Worst takeaway due to the beef burger tasting like a tin burger and was rubbery. The garlic bread was bland. Delivery time was ok.

Best pizzas ever - the base is amazing and they are never greasy like some pizzas you can get. My new favourite pizza shop.

The food was nice (hot shot parmo was LOADED with toppings) and had the potential to be really great, but it was not cooked that nicely, probably rushed due to being the end of the night. I'll probably try again another time but not so close to closing time!

Last time I've ordered from you the food was late for over an hour and I couldn't reach you through the phone. This time, food arrived on time and is tasty as always. An advice, even sending a silly text msg informing about delays would make a world of difference :-) Keep up the good work and make kebabs as awesome as they are now (seriously best in the area). Told it was on its way after 30 mins, called again when it was an hour late. Put on hold then told the food was never on its way at all. Absolutely awful. Will never use again.

First time ordering a parmo from here (not a big fan of parmo) and it was beautiful. Got a hot shot parmo which had lots of toppings and fresh green chillies on it, definitely changed my opinion on parmos and I will be ordering again!

They wrote my address wrong. Luckily the driver came to my flat to ask where number 1 is. I paid by card so someone woulda had a free meal if there actually was a number 1. Other than that tho, the food was great. Thanks.

Food was amazing as usual..Piping hot and delicious. The extra I left in the comments was also spot on !! The delivery driver is sound!! Won't go anywhere else! 100% recommended
