Angel And Two Bibles in Belfast

Vine aquí con unos amigos el fin de semana, el olor a incienso era repugnante, pedimos los chupitos, no pudimos elegir los nuestros, que eran agrios de manzana que eran demasiado agrios y no podíamos beberlos. Luego pedimos los bocadillos y cócteles, que eran 3 tarros muy pequeños de Doritos, Maltesers y lo esperamos... . ¡Estrellas de la Vía Láctea! No los he comido desde que era una adolescente, y realmente, los bocadillos con bebida deben ser salados, no dulces, muy mala elección de bocadillos. El lugar es todo un poco gimmicky y con la quema de incienso tuvimos que dejar. No recomendaría.

Vine aquí con mi esposa después de un día de compras en Belfast. Fuimos los primeros clientes porque no abren hasta las cinco. El personal era muy amable y una chica estaba allí en su primer turno, pero no te habrías dado cuenta. Los cócteles fueron muy agradables y como de costumbre mi esposa tomó las mejores decisiones! Recomiendo en particular el daiquiri helado Hemingway servido con Prosecco al lado. La cuenta llegó a 82 libras. 50 por seis cócteles incluido el servicio, que es bastante empinado, pero no vamos allí todos los días (y también hay ofertas decentes en vuelos y tomas).

Mi prometido y yo hemos venido aquí un par de veces desde que abrió y es uno de nuestros bares de cócteles favoritos. El personal es genial y el menú es aún mejor. Dividido en el Antiguo y Nuevo Testamento, tienes una increíble gama de cócteles a medida para elegir. Ahora las bebidas están en el lado más caro, pero todos ellos definitivamente valen la pena el precio!

Brilliant evening, the choice if cocktails was amazing. The decor was fun and the service was great, really friendly and welcoming, would definitely recommend it.

Extremely overpriced and just average cocktails. 20% service charge was also automatically added on and at the prices that were being charged this just felt completely unnecessary. Staff were okay but really it is nothing special or to get excited about. Definitely one to avoid.

We were really underwhelmed by this place. Looks much bigger in photos. We were sandwiched between two other tables and literally inches apart. Unfortunately one table had people who were pretty drunk but kept being served. Drinks not worth the money and had better elsewhere. Also didn't appreciate service charge for someone to walk a metre to a table. 52 quid for 4 drinks. Will not be back.

As soon as you walk in you’re met with the smell of a damp wooden toilet. At this point, I should have turned around, however they will charge your card if you don’t show up when you make a reservation!! You’re then met by a snooty member of staff and sat at a table in a row where you’re elbow to elbow with other people. We then waited 25 minutes for our drinks order to be taken and another 10 minutes for the drinks. The menus are awful - you can’t easily tell what’s in the drink and the tasting notes are more outlandish than helpful. The place is also pitch black so I had to use my phone torch to read the menu - I saw others doing this too so surely it makes sense to turn the lights up a bit. Once the drinks finally came, they were no better than what you would get else where for a lesser price. I Would suggest the menu be a little more descriptive or the staff member more helpful to recommend. We just wanted to leave at this point so left the table and paid - not surprisingly they were quicker to take our money than serve us. The toilets were really unkept and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in ages. We then had to make our way back down the windy creaky stair case to leave and that was the best part of the evening. Some fresh air!! There’s also no access for people with limited mobility - no lift and a lot of stairs. I would never return and definitely would not recommend this place. Really Poor service. Unhygienic. Rude staff. No disabled access. Over priced.

I think this place has great potential but it has a few minor flaws. Firstly, the prices are quite high for their standard cocktail range, per unti of spirits I don't think they are particularly good value. Secondly, the service is a bit slow and haphazard. I'd recommend a vist for a special event though. Given how bland most of the pubs in Belfast are, offering the usual major label drinks supplied by the big brewery this is a welcome addition to the scene.

I googled nearby bars and the name stuck out to me, and I'm so glad we gave it a go! We were a bit lost until we seen the graffiti of angel wings down a side street and buzzed into the door. Absolutely loved the decor and menu! Love the split between classic and staff made. We were made to feel very welcomed and has a great time. I don't think there was a single drink we didn't like on the menu!

Rooftop bar, hard to find but so worth it. The cocktails are amazing, and inventive. Knowledgeable and welcoming staff. Quirky decor. No view as its only on 5th floor. Would definitely recommend for a pre-dinner drink, or 2

Visited here yesterday for cocktails …was very disappointed…..lacking in atmosphere…on a personal choice we didn’t like the background music. Wasn’t that impressed with the cocktails …no better than anywhere else ….the young female waitress seemed to know her stuff . We stayed a couple of hours but wouldn’t be rushing back ….windows were really dirty (green) The thing that annoyed us most was the 10% service charged which amounted to £20 for two rounds of drinks only . I queried this and told it was standard but to be fair they didn’t charge me it …I just thought this was way over the top .. would I go back … no I don’t think so and I wouldn’t recommend it. sorry

Bar looks lovely, really quirky and cute. Nice drinks if you are prepared to wait hours for them or perhaps they won't arrive at all. Genuinly one of the worst services at a bar i have had. STRICTLY table service and we had one drink for the hour and a half we were there without anyone looking near us. Thankfully we got at least one drink, they forgot the entire tables order next to us ans only told them 45 minutes after they ordered. Dreadful.

Stumbled across this next to The Deer's Head brewpub. Very cool place and reservations are a must during weekends. A unique find amidst more standard pub options.
