Great food and great service. I've always been a happy customer.

I'm a regular here but I've recently started eating the cod and omg the cod is amazing..... simple things I know but thank you guys xxx

We've been using Andy's plaice for a while now, the guys who work there are absolutely fantastic nothing is too much trouble for them

Yummy cheesy chips and the bloke even sorted me out with an extra large portion not on the menu

Visited family in the local area and thought we’d give this place ago under recommendation. The chicken meat tasted like it had been microwaved and the chips were severely undercooked. The burgers were dry and under seasoned, also the curry sauce was very lumpy Won’t be rushing back in a hurry any time soon

Sadly this local chippy used to serve some value in terms of freshly cooked fish and chips. Gradually the standard has dropped dramatically to the point where our last takeaway was given to the dogs. The fish was wafer thin over cooked and the chips were nothing but bits that I could have used to nail down the flooring. It's a shame but the food here used to be good, now it's down with quality and up with price.

Used to be a brilliant local community Chippy but now it caters more to the student community. Never open now when the students are off. Can't get a meat pasty here anymore. Said to say although I really like the staff I have now found another local Chippy that prioritises all customers equally

Good evening, Hope you are all well and getting ready for the weekend, Today David and had a nationwide removals from Leicestershire to Plymouth, on the way home we took a detour to Weston-super-Mare for some fish and chips, We felt we earnt them, they were by far the best we have had in a long time x

been a regular for 4-5 years now, chicken strip is a must have if its your first time visiting or you've been a regular like me, lovely staff aswell

Thought I'd try this place due to the reviews, sadly I don't really think it lives up to those reviews. Very expensive for cod n chips twice, the chips were overcooked but in all fairness the fish was good.

I went in there for lunch and got a large chips I myself work in a fish and chip shop and I have to say the service was very prompt and the food was quite good

Easily the best Fish & Chips locally all cooked fresh, and they also do a mean kebab too.

Says they’re open on Google but I’ve been here two days in a row and they’ve been shut during the day! Either change the times or open when supposed to

Mm. Less than fresh haddock, excessive batter, and - unusual - bones. Tired shop. Try, but don't be surprised.

Best fish and chips we've ever had. Cooked fresh to order and piping hot. Absolutely delicious.

Good quality fish and generous portions. I asked for lightly battered fish but it wasnt as lighty battered as expected. Apart from that it was a good experience.

Great service always yummy food and they run the place really well been going here since I was a kid never will stop going highly recommend.

Small friendly chip shop. Was really surprised with there food, fish was amazing,pure white with a thin layer of batter. Kebab tasty and decent size portions... reasonable prices too.

Work lunch on a weekly basis, always impressed and never fails us! They do some top chicken too, better than a bargain scrub bucket from the fast food venues and also a better price. 5 star deserved.

I've used various fish and chip shops in this area over the last 13 years. Andy's plaice is the only one I can recommend. The food is freshly cooked to order and always tastes just how I remember fish and chips was when I was a boy. Try the Doner Kebab. Keep up the good work Shane Morris.

Andy's Plaice do the meanest chicken strip wrap around, ask for cheesy chips, Salt + Vinegar, and BBQ sauce and you shall not be disappointed

Great fish and chips at great prices, very good portion. They also do loads of other food for the fish phob's. Kebabs, burgers etc. Very friendly, a bit of the beaten track but worth the journey, would highly recommend.

Can anyone with the name of Andy Plaice say something bad about an "Andy's Plaice"??. No - that being said, this place is amazing! Always my first stop when in the area. A great Plaice!
