Hadleys on the Boulevard in North Somerset

We were visiting the area and looking for somewhere for Sunday lunch. Reviews for Hadleys on the Boulevard seemed very good. We booked for two (and a dog). We were not disappointed. The welcome was warm and friendly, the food was delicious and excellent quality, and the prices fair. We had garlic mushrooms and soup starters, two roasts, and sticky toffee and key lime pie for dessert. Everything was top notch. It is always a good sign when many of the customers are regulars, as was the case here. We will definitely be returning when we are next in the area. Thank you James and the team for making us so welcome.

Always friendly, excellent breakfasts and Sunday roasts. You will find a bigger breakfast at other places but you won’t find one as nice. Proper bacon and sausage not the usual cheap rubbish at the greasy spoon. Fried bread is lovely. Coffee is very good too. Quality over quantity. Sunday dinners are always great too. Never been disappointed. Staff friendly and welcoming

Called in for lunch today ( Fri 9th Aug 2024) I can only comment everything perfect! Lovely place, great atmosphere and most of all great hot food served to your table on hot plates! Prices excellent value for money. Loved it and we will be back.

Truly wonderful place with perfect hospitality. I had the full English breakfast with a coffee. The quality of the food was amazing and the staff could not have been more friendly. I was apprehensive about dining alone but they made me so welcome. It was the highlight of my day.

We all enjoyed the food in this small and cosy bistro. Between us we had steak, pork, fish, and goat's cheese/veg pie. Everything was tasty, especially the vegetables.

Had the small breakfast which was lovely and hot looked appetising, bake beans where in a separate bowl, very enjoyable will be going again

absoulutley terrible rude manager.. went in there with our disable freind an they turned us away..saying there was no tables available but there was plenty tables empty .ide advise people not to use this place they dont deserve the custom.. never go there again..SO RUDE

Only one little observation, the dining chairs could do with a bit of attention, a light foam wipe over perhaps?

Since James has taken over from his parents running Hadley's standards certainly haven't dropped. Visited to celebrate friend's big birthday for breakfast. Good portions well presented with that friendly personal touch.

Really delicious food and great service. The wait for food was a little on the long side but when it arrived it was worth the wait. I had the vegetarian breakfast and it was all cooked perfectly. Everyone else in my group also really enjoyed their meals. Also dog friendly which is a huge plus!

Lovely lunch, they even have a dog friendly area, but not intrusive for other diners. Excellent service and pleasant atmosphere

Doggy friendly was a good start the service and staff were good. Starters were tasty. Mains were a tad underwhelming, fishcake recipe needs a review. Nice to sit outside and a good spot to people watch.

Always sure of a true welcome and the food is always extra special

This place was a nice little surprise. If you select from the main meals it can get quite expensive and the cost can stack up if you have a few drinks here as the beers are sold by the bottle. But it is a nice place with good food and good service. The staff were very friendly and helpful and served us with a smile which is always a nice touch. There is plenty to choose from on the menu and the wine list is extensive, though only the house wine is served by the glass. They have a breakfast, lunch and main menu with sides and desserts on top of that. The decor is quite cosy and homely. I'm not sure how to describe it fully but it was like I was having a meal out in a place which is a mix of a restaurant and my nans house, hence the homely feel. I would definitely go back. I would say it is worth a look at least to see if it's your sort of thing.

Traditional and attractive style restaurant with prompt and attentive service. Friendly and willing to go the extra mile to meet customer's dietary requirements. I had an excellent vegan meal. Many diners seemed to be regulars and were greeted warmly.

Took friends for breakfast. One had a full english; the other had smashed avocado with poached eggs on toasted muffin; I had poached eggs with a cheese sauce on toasted muffin. All delicious! Nice environment! Not the cheapest of meals at £26.00 but you get well cooked and tasty breakfast from quality ingredients.

Love this place, can't score it highly enough. Great food and a great atmosphere. Cannot fault the service either, it's family run and the service is impeccable 👍

I was very impressed with my first visit this week. My quiche was delicious and the service excellent. A return visit is already booked.

Smart, clean, nice atmosphere. Parking near can be a problem.

We had booked on the day, and we were very lucky to be able to have a table available for 7:30pm. I am not a tardy person and hate people being late, however due to parking we were 8 minutes late, not my best entrance, but the way we were made to feel at ease and that they completely understood, made what could have been a bad beginning, a very positive one. The wonderful warm and friendly service throughout our evening made us feel very comfortable and welcome. The food was to an excellent standard and beautifully presented. I would definitely recommend this fantastic restaurant, especially if you have a special occasion. Wonderful. I honestly wish this restaurant all the success in the future. Five stars for lunch. Ordered smoked salmon and avocado salad. Enjoyed every mouthful. Salmon was exquisite. Restaurant - tasteful decor, immaculately clean, charming staff, fresh excellent food. Anticipating trying the evening menu soon. Finally found a restaurant I want to revisit!

Lovely restaurant.Extremely friendly staff.Nothing was too much trouble. Will be going back just to try the Cranachan!!!! Lovely roast lamb dinner today. Not too many spaces downstairs so if you are elderly and don't like stairs do tell them when you reserve your table. Having said that we did not experience a problem as the restaurant staff were soooo accomodating

Staff friendly place clean. But was disappointed with the meal paid £8.95 for a 3 egg omelette. Omelette ok nothing special but the salad was bad .they usedvery cheap ingredients if I had paid for a side salad I would have been dissatisfied but this was a salad instead of chips. Did complain but really wasn't given a good enough reason for poor quality food. Will not be going again

Went out for a meal with friends last night. What a lovely place. You would not expect something like this in W-s-M. Service was warm and welcoming. Food was excellent. I had the Sea bass which was delicious. Would recommend for a romantic dinner or good night out with friends or family.

We arrived slightly late and were greeted by very friendly staff. We were shown to our table which was nice and intimate and far enough away from other diners to be completely relaxed and free to chat without the fear of being overheard. We both had the Coquilles St Jacques which was nicely presented and packed full of flavour and could not be faulted. We were then brought a very nice mango sorbet to cleanse the palate before our main course. We had both opted for the Honey glazed Roasted Rack of Lamb. Our host advised us that this came pink unless otherwise requested so I had it as it came and my girlfriend had it slightly more done. When our dishes arrived the food was cooked to perfection and was yet another faultless course and was truly delightful. We were given time to relax and chat before the desert menu was presented. I opted for the Hot Chocolate pudding with Chocolate Sauce and my partner had a Bakewell Tart. Both dishes were once again beautifully presented and delivered on taste and was a perfect way to finish a wonderful meal. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone. The staff were very friendly and attentive and thought that the service was unparalleled. It was a completely unhurried evening and delivered on food, ambience and service to a very high standard. Coupled with that and the company of the most beautiful woman in the world made this a truly memorable evening and could not thank them any more.

Having just celebrated my 45th birthday at Hadleys . Gillian, Mark and the team make special occasions even more special. The food is by far the best in Weston , matched with the atmosphere and the tentative service. If you have walked past the restaurant and thought that it looks lovely, but thought that the food must be expensive. It's not. My wife also celebrated her 50th birthday last year and Mark and Gillian were brilliant, they catered for twenty guests that evening. It doesn't matter if you are having a romantic evening for two or booking the upstairs area for that special gathering of friends. They value every customer and always go the extra mile for you.
