I like the decor. Good beer would recommend trying if in the area.

Best pub in weston. Great range or ales and ciders. Once you go to black cat the other pub just arent as good.

Food consists of limited snacks Knowledgable staff and good to combine as part of real ale pub crawl with Fat Head brewery !

Interesting little place with a gorgeous array of ales and ciders. The snacks are plentiful and unique. Topped off by smiles and warmth from behind the bar. A precious little independent local gem, serving independently produced and local delights! It’s a big YES from me!

Popped in for a swift pint and too cool down. Nice little pub good selection of ciders and beers . Didn't eat but the rolls seem good and reasonably priceded and bar snacks Nice locals pud will definitely be back

Always quick and friendly service, always a good crowd. I suffer from dyslexia and the signage can often be difficult to read but who ever working the bar always have a great knowledge of the drinks available so its never been an issue

Absolute gem of a pub. Stumbled across this the other night after our usual venue was closed and so glad we gave it a try. Huge selection of ales cider beer gin and other spirits. Tasty choice of nuts crisps and other snack. A warm welcome and nice atmosphere. Fantastically decorated. Just an absolutely brilliant pub to visit. Will be back for more!

Superb micropub, with a constantly changing list of cask real ales and keg craft beers, as well as a healthy selection of cans and bottles. Incredibly friendly staff made for a great visit. I only wish I'd had time to stay longer.

Great little pub. Discovered this by chance, we were watching a band in Grove Park and fancied a beer. Popped in and met the owner who was great and very welcoming. Fantastic atmosphere and very cosy. Got some take out real ale in a bag which was lovely! Will definitely be returning for a few beers.

Lots of fantastic beer on offer- getting them to recommend one a little difficult as they would "recommend all of them". Maybe pass a short course on IPAs before visiting?

The Black Cat Micropub is an excellent place to visit if you enjoy really good beer and a nice calm atmosphere. I have been to the Black Cat many times and always enjoyed my visits. There is always a cheery welcome from Nick, he is always keen to tell you about the beers he has for you to try. He spends a lot of time sourcing high quality beers and they really are good. I'm a keen ale drinker and I have to say, whenever I go in, there's always a great beer to try! On my last visit, I was only going to have the one beer but it was so pleasant at the Black Cat, and the beer was exceptionally good that I decided I should stay for another. On my many visits, the Atmosphere is always nice at the Black Cat. The venue doesn't attract loud noise and drunks in fact quite the opposite, people who are keen to try the excellent beer and have a peaceful time always seem to be at the venue. So, to sum up the Black Cat.... A nice little micropub who's staff are keen to serve only really good beer. The pub had a calm atmosphere and you always feel welcome. Well worth a visit in my opinion. Top marks to the Black cat Micropub!

My favourite little pub in Weston. A great range of carefully selected real ales, beers and ciders as well as seasonal offerings such as mead and mulled cider. Many of the bar snacks are homemade, which means there is usually something new to try. Bar staff are happy to give you recommendations and tasters. Vegan friendly drinks are clearly labelled

Lovely place with a great choice of craft beers and honest prices. The bartender was warmhearted, helpful and adorable, and made you feel very welcome. The pub seems to draw a regular customer base, which just goes to show it's a quality spot. The "black cat" theme can be seen throughout the bar decoration, starting with a whole painted wall, which is a nice touch. I went to the pub before a gig at the Playhouse Theatre right across the street, and enjoyed it so much I came back afterwards. Will definitely come back if I ever travel to Weston-super-Mare again. What a pub! My wife and myself love this quaint. Cozy and a very warm and friendly pub. If you want to try or enjoy real ales and ciders that do not contain cordials and call them a fruity cider, and non commercial lagers. Then this is the place. Also this is a pub that has no pool table. Jukebox or television. The entertainment you are likely to get or make is your own. No mobile phones in use either (not that my wife and myself saw being used)...(hooray). It is cozy lit too. I found the gents refreshing room quite amusing too. I could not help with having a good laugh at some of the VIZ pages that are used to decorate the room. My wife was concerned on how long it took me to get to back to joining her for participating into having another lovely drink. I said I was having a good read. If you like to eat spicy things. I strongly recommend you try Nasty Nick's Nuts. It will be our local everytime we stay in Weston-Super-mare from now on. Thank you so much Nick. Had a pint of Quantock Brewery's "We're gonna need a bigger boat" - a truly sublime pint of NEIPA joy. A lovely micropub with lovely friendly staff. We ain't local but have planned to come back one weekend, get and Airbnb and kick the backside out of the Black Cats beer offerings. A little gem in WSM.

A must visit for any Ale drinker. Lots of choice of Ales to be drunk in here. Knowledgeable staff and a great decor to be seen in the bar as well as the read that is available and awaits you in the bathroom!!! It is a bit tricky to find but so worthwhile for sure. Highly recommended Micro Brewery in Weston Super Mare. Will be back.

What a fantastic little micropub this is - easily the best beer in Weston and a lovely atmosphere as well! The regularly changing list of beers is curated expertly by the owner and features beers and ciders from the very best producers in the country (no Fosters here!!!) It's also very reasonably priced for the quality of product you're getting. The snacks are awesome too! There's always a good crowd of regulars in but it's super welcoming for newcomers too - we've brought loads of people here and everyone has loved it. Very dog-friendly (they always get a treat), though bear in mind it is small so they must be well-behaved. Long live the Black Cat! It has become one of our go-to spots in town and we look forward to many more visits. Thanks Nick and Alistair!

Where do I begin. If you're a local, or a tourist searching for an incredible beer or variety of gins & ciders then this is the place. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere with a never ending carousel of keg and cask beer discovered and bought in on a weekly basis by Nick.

This pub is a hidden gem in Weston. We stumbled across this place by accident but we are glad we did. A great range of real ales and ciders. We visited on a Sunday night and there was a couple of local musicians playing 12 string guitar and mandolin tunes. I recommend visiting and we will definitely go back.

Just the perfect bar and an antidote to thr majority of bland bars in Weston.
