Been twice now and quickly become our favourite restaurant in weston, is going to be our regular date night place from now on. The steak on a hot plate they do was delicious, staff very friendly they even remembered us from our first visit definitely recommend

5th time visiting the new tarantella, as a fan of steak, and although the staff were very nice as usual, i have to congratulate the Chef. My steak was the best fillet steak i have had in about 30 years. We enjoyed beautifully cooked starters and mains for the 5th time in a row and will always be coming here. Grazie Mille !!!

We eat here at least once a month. The food is 💯 per cent Italian. There is always an excellent choice of 😋 starters and mains. Day time they have a special menu which is £18 for two courses and is an absolute bargain. The staff are happy, helpful (we ALWAYS need doggy bags!) and my mother would like to add that the waiters are very handsome!

A superb place to eat. Always fresh ingredients. Value fr money lunch time menu should not be missed ! Fab selection of quality wines. Service polite and speedy. We have been to this restaurant many times and have always really enjoyed their food. Sadly our last meal there was not so good. we go for the sizzling stake on a hot stone which was always amazing but sadly we feel the quality of the meat was not so good. Chewy, gristly and smaller than before, you used to get a very small pot of sauce included but now have to pay £3.00 for a tiny pot of it and the meal itself has gone up £5.00.since our last visit. also the chips were so dry it took a monumental effort to eat just a few! On a positive note, great staff and atmosphere in the restaurant. Don’t compromise on quality at those prices or you will lose customers!

I have to say that the food is amazing the presentation of it and the restaurant is clean and modern, but the best is the great service of Mela the waitress, she was very friendly and kind, I just would like to have had a little bigger portions. The rest was TOP!

Excellent food and outstanding service, really authentic cooking and standards for an enjoyable and delicious meal. Chef catering for food intolerance and made me a special gluten free, goats cheese garlic bread so I didn't miss out, best Risotto, absolutely delicious, food is outstanding and great value. Definitely recommend.

I would strongly recommend I visited when I came to visit some friends and family , service is amazing and the wait time for food is just right , it was such a nice place to eat the atmosphere was very relaxing and calm , they are very catering to small children too. My husband said that the ribeye steak was the best steak he has ever had and he was so pleased to see that it was served on a hot stone, definitely will be returning to eat here when I next come down to visit .

10 of us celebrated my sister's birthday at Tarantella Ristorante last night and it was an exceptional experience. Lorenzo, our waiter, provided outstanding service throughout the evening, with a quick turn around time and helping us chose our food. I went for the salmon pasta which was recommended and was bursting with flavor, while my sister got the rib eye on the hot stone, which was delicious too. The ambiance, service, and dishes made it a memorable celebration. Highly recommended!

It was my first time in Tarantella's restaurant for a number of years, for the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. We were there just after opening so didn't have to wait for a table. The waitress looking after us was knowledgeable about queries we had about the menu but helped us to make great choices. We both had chicken based dishes as mains and they were up there with the best tasting food we'd ever had. I'd highly recommend the venue for anyone that enjoys freshly cooked Italian food

Had fabulous pizza dinner here last night. Lovely ambience, food delicious and service excellent. Will be back again soon as so many delicious choices on the menu.

Me and my lovely girlfriend went to tarantella today, for lunch, we got the 2 course menu with a starter of arancini, it had spinach and risotto inside it and gosh they were amazing, if I could live off them I would. I got the carbonara as a main and it was super creamy and lovely, very nicely cooked meat on it too. My girlfriend, ahri, ordered the bolognaise, she enjoyed it a lot but said the pasta in it was a bit hard and when I tried some I wasn't a fan either, we had brownie for dessert but were so full we took it to go, when I ate it I was debating throwing it in the bin. Me personally, the chocolate was way too dark but I can see how it would be amazing for other people, just not me. Overall it was a amazing date with very nice filling food, costing just under £30 for the both of us.

It was expensive, but value for money, the quality of the food was outstanding. It is a great place for an occasion. Can't wait to come back.

I don't do many reviews, but just had to. First time visit. Great food from starter through to dessert/coffee. Nice atmosphere, sort of classy but not at all ostentatious. Superb beef fillet steak on a hot rock. Real melt in your mouth stuff. Not cheap, but worth it. Lorenzo and Vasili (excuse any typos chaps), smart, cool dudes, looked after us. Excellent restaurant. 👍

food was average at best hot sauce used on pizza not fresh chilis , garlic bread only sharing size . Atmoshere , it has lost that family run feeling . So wanted this to be good but it was a dissapointment

A place worth recommending. The two pizzas we ordered were really delicious. There is a nice and relaxed atmosphere there. The restaurant staff was nice, friendly and smiling. We were very pleased that you were able to please our taste buds. I recommend this place and hope to visit you again soon.

Went to celebrate birthday with my sister, very welcoming atmosphere, our waiter Lorenzo has been really friendly and professional, food was absolutely delicious, we started with beef carpacio and salmon tartare, and carried on with lovely courgette pasta, and fresh limoncello dessert, definitely recommend we will be back soon :)

Having visited this restaurant previously I was disappointed. 6 of us out for dinner and one had to wait for the starter and main meal whilst everyone had been served, plus forgotten side dishes. I had the pasta dish I had, was lacking in favour two of my friends ordered the same dish and they thought the same although the seafood was very nice. I would return for lunch but not dinner.

The food was beyond excellent. If I was to choose between my girlfriend and Tarantella I would sure go for the Fillet Steak all over again. I wish I could shake the hand of the farmers hand for the superior quality of the beef. I won't be surprised if the place will be shut down soon by the immigration as the food is better than in Italy itself. (I'm not getting paid for this review but if I'm offered a shot of Limoncello for it I will sure accept it as I'm definetly coming back soon😉)

Second time we have visited and food was amazing. Absolutely love the new refurb and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. Can’t wait to book again. The Menu is fab! We used to come from time to time from the old owners but this is ten times better!!! We were told about this restaurant couple weeks ago but decided not to go as my husband who is part Italian, we were quite critical of the cuisine and had been to all the other Italian restaurants in Weston, whose proprietors and cooks are Italian but sadly cannot cook, The Italians from Italy would throw eggs at them! However, left with no choice other than we visited Tarantella ristorante on a busy night with my husband and friends. Treated us amazing, ordered a pollo picante dish and a seabass dish and Wow! Dare I say more but Wow, pasta was perfect and not overcooked. The fish dish was also perfect. The service, welcoming and attention. Five stars. We have found our new place!!! Tarantella Ristorante is a must and I don't remember the last time I had fun like this in a restaurant!

Before anyone takes the time to read this review please understand I'm not one for leaving negative/bad reviews. If someone makes 1 or even 2 mistakes then I get it we're only human and these things do happen, but this was from the minute we walked in until the minute we left. The table was booked for 20.15pm we arrived at 20.10pm to not be greeted as we walked in and had to ask at the bar about our booked reservation at 20.15. It was Very busy and noisy! We were sat at a small 2 person table in front of the entrance next to the bar that rocked from side to side due to either an uneven floor or one of the legs were broken. At this point the atmosphere is not feeling very Italian at all. We were told as soon as a table becomes free we would be re seated in what I can only assume would be a more sensible and adequate location. 20 minutes later we were asked if we would like to order our food? We said yes that's fine. My wife ordered the steak with asparagus and chips I ordered the sea bass with squid and prawns. 5 minutes later another couple walked in and another table became free, if I hadn't asked the waitress "can we have that free table please" like promised the other couple would've been seated there instead of me and my wife. Once seated we were asked if we would like another drink to which we obliged. 1hr and 15 minutes later our food order turned up but a lot more than what we originally ordered 🤔 they had sent out 2 plates of steak and asparagus along with the sea bass dish 🤦 I called the waitress over and had the extra steak dish taken away. My sea bass dish was very well presented and tasted amazing but it was very small in size! it was more like a starter than a main and considering how much it cost as well I was a little disappointed. My wife's dish only had 2 tiny bits of asparagus, a small pot with triple cooked chips and a sirloin steak that was quite fatty and gristly. Once we had finished we asked for the bill and it was £73! So if each dish was no more than £20 so £40 that means 3 Sam Miguel's and 2 Malibu's with coke cost £33 and apparently one of those Malibu & cokes were removed to apologise for the long waiting time on the food so that's £33 for 3 Sam Miguel's and 1 Malibu and coke! 😲 Would we come back here again...... unfortunately not 😞 it's just not the same as it use to be years ago 😞 is this restaurant under new ownership? I didn't notice any of the original staff that used to work here? This was the restaurant we came too when we 1st started dating 16 years ago. The waitress who was hosting us tonight was lovely by the way 👌 it was more just a bit of an unorganised mess where me and my wife were left feeling disappointed, unrelaxed and fed up to the point where we wished we had gone to a hungry horse like the Super Mare Pub.

Myself and my fiancée went for an evening meal at Tarantella Ristorante. I would highly recommend choosing this restaurant for date night! Service was impeccable and it really was VIP service that we received. As for the food, it was absolutely outstanding. We can’t wait to return and try some more dishes on the menu!

You have to read this! I went to Tarantella this weekend, and it was AMAZING! The restaurant was very busy and when I tried the food I understood why. The service is one of the best I ever seen , cause they had such a busy night and did their best to look after us. This is awesome! The food was so tasty and worth to wait every minute 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I will definitely be back and highly recommend. Well done TARANTELLA 🌟 keep going everyone.

I have to suggest to anyone reading this review - don’t order the pasta as a takeaway. The food is very tasty don’t get me wrong, but the portions are unusually small, to the extreme - my partner and I just finished our order (a pasta each, £33 including delivery) in just a few minutes and are still very very hungry, another dish each would have just been ‘enough’, (not too much). Being used to the normal portions from Michaelangelos and similar places (where you’re full after your meal), we were a bit gutted, and now need to cook. Italians sometimes give smaller portions in-restaurant as people get starters, deserts etc but this isn’t often the case for takeaways, so most Italians mitigate this by giving people enough pasta - not so here. Shame because the food was yummy, but it’s just not viable to order multiple mains just to be full, and from such an inexpensive dish in terms of ingredients, it comes across intentional. A customer lost, unfortunately.

I’m gutted I only found this place the very last night of my stay or I’d have been many many times. It is beautiful inside - clean and fresh and modern but full of character. The food was superb, fresh, tasty, full of flavour. The prices were good and the staff were lovely. What a great place, thoroughly recommend.

Lovely staff, atmosphere and amazing food.

Food was good and service from young charismatic guys. However the rowdy table of twenty guests spoilt the evening. Shame.

Had the best time. Came with a group of girls and the workers were so nice and patient with us while taking our orders and bringing out food. Taste was amazing, everything cooked perfectly. The owner Lorenzo deserves a mention he was so great, funny, took pictures for us and recommended dishes for us. This place is under great ownership and is without a doubt one of the best places to go and eat in town. Be sure to visit, i’ll definitely be going again.

Went here whilst on holiday. We hadn't booked however they got us a table quickly. Staff so friendly and polite. Food was so delicious and freshly cooked. Definitely the best Italian I've been too for a long time

Liked this place so much that we went twice in one week during our holiday! The food was fresh and delicious and the service was friendly. Really wish we didn't live nearly 200 miles away from this great Italian. Gluten-free options were marked on the menu, which was a bonus.

Tables are very close together. Sea bass ravioli is very tasty but the size of a small starter. Music could have been Italian which would have made it a bit more authentic. Overall tasty meal and good service but expensive for what it is..

Girls at the bar make you unwelcome and uncomfortable. By staring at you, talking and laughing. (From very beginning to the end).

Don't be put off by the look if the outside of the restaurant. Fantastic food. Excellent service, good wine. Table of 4 . We shared starters, olives were fantastic garlic bread light and tasty bruschetta gorgeous. All of us had very different mains. They were all well cooked fabulous flavours ample portions. Staff attentive but not overbearing. Excellent value for money. Couldn't fault it.

Ordered the seafood linguine and it was some of the best seafood pasta I’ve ever had. Nice portions, very fast and friendly workers, and at a reasonable price. Big man certified!

It was a lunchtime and we were only customers. So it felt a little quiet.

I hate to be critical because we've had some good meals here. Unfortunately, the Tagliatelli Bolognese I had was poor and I've made better dishes myself. I didn't complain because I know food from 'Bologna is different from other Italian cities. I thoughr the dish would include a sauce but it was almost entirely, just pasta and mince.

Six of us (3 adults, 2 teens and 1 ten yr old) arrived just before 9pm without a reservation but were made to feel really welcome. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the menu is different to the average high street Italian which makes a refreshing change. Food is delicious and freshly prepared, they were happy to tweak dishes by adding or removing ingredients as we requested. Plenty of choice for meat, fish or vegetarian diners and pizzas are huge!

I had dinner 4 two, starters where really good but one of the mains was overcooked, my monkfish should be soft but it wasn't unfortunately and non of the waitresses came to ask how the food was and couldn't order a glass of wine same time place wasn't that busy. But still it's a nice place to have your dinner. Thanks

Amazing!! Got there late with no booking. Restaurant was empty so they could have told me they were closing but they were happy to get me a table. Food was fantastic! Got the tagliolini ai frutti di mare and a tiramisu. Both were amazing. Great food, great service, definitely recommend!!

Went to this restaurant for the first time the other day and really enjoyed it ! Service and staff were great , will definitely be returning.

First time trying since change of owner. Very disappointing, bland food and uninterested service. Salmon tartare was nicely presented but lacked flavour. The "bruschetta" was laughable, it felt like they had forgotten it was on the menu and improvised - if this is due to a supply issue, it may as well come off the menu temporarily. Burratta salad was low effort, nectarine was completely unripe, and garnish was not exactly generous - leaving you with a bowl of thin tasting cheese and a few leaves. Just glad that salt & pepper was available. In all fairness it wasn't an expensive meal (though we did leave earlier than planned), so we could have accepted the food had the service been any good. However, staff ignored us, never checked back, didn't offer new drinks etc. Waiter was very short when asked a simple question. Hoping that we just caught them on an off night, but other tables looked well attended to, so perhaps need to sit somewhere else if we go again. If this is the standard, then a brilliant opportunity is being missed out on, fingers crossed there's some improvement, tarantellas has always been the best place to eat locally. 🤞

I can’t believe we have this in Somerset. I live In Bristol at the moment but I used to come here, it was decent. Now it’s my fav and the staff are amazing aswell as the food. I had the seafood linguine and it was to die for.

Just had a meal here, I can’t put the words to describe it. It was absolutely brilliant from service to food. The place is absolutely amazing couldn’t ask for a better restaurant in Weston definitely miles ahead of others around.
