Tarantella Ristorante in North Somerset

Previous pizza's from Tarantellas have been delicious but this pizza was stone cold and very dry. The tomato sauce stopped well before the edges so most of the pizza was dry dough 😞. Very disappointing.

Fantastic Italian Dining Experience! My sister and I had an amazing experience at this Italian restaurant! From the warm and inviting atmosphere to the excellent service, everything was top-notch. The seafood linguine was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked pasta and every bite was a delight! The Bresaola pizza was equally impressive and the wine selection was great. The quality of ingredients and attention to detail really stood out. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for authentic Italian cuisine. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Just visited tarantella ristorante for first time, heard so much good things about it. Visited with my whole family 5 of us. Service was amazing and food was great.

Very disappointed the service last night was shocking, our party of 12 arrived at the restaurant at 8pm, we had already pre-ordered our food a few days before, we ordered drinks and a few had ordered starters so we waited for that to arrive, and we waited and waited around 9pm they arrived. Great we thought the mains should follow shortly... No.. 50 mins later they finally got our mains to us after 3 people asking over a 20 minute period when our food would be ready. The food came which was nothing more than mediocre and certainly not worth the wait, some items where missing off at least 2 plate , this being the creamed spinach in the two salmon dishes, (the birthday girls meal, you'd have thought they would have at least made the effort to get that one right). One of the guest that couldn't attend asked if her meal could be prepared as a takeaway option, to which the restaurant kindly agreed, after my meal and being nearly 11pm I noticed that the kitchen had been cleaned down I approached one of the waitress and asked if the said meal was ready for me and the look of panic said it all she then went to the chef spoke to him and he looked at me like I was something he'd just stepped in and said very abruptly 3 minutes, clearly they had forgotten about said meal and it arrived at the table some 10 mins later. As some of the table then began to leave we turned towards the bar area where every member of staff were stood there arms folded staring at the table waiting for us to leave, maybe if we wasn't the last table you served so late at night you might have been able to leave on time. I've been to this restaurant in the past and have no idea how or why it has rapidly gone down hill. Hopefully this was a one off but am I prepared to take that risk again, I'm unsure. The lead of the party said they would talk to staff before they left, if they did or not I don't know. But for me personally very very disappointed sadly

Food was boiling when it got here and the taste is incredible. Very impressed will be visiting in person soon.

Lovely pizza! It was our first order from here and we were nicely surprised at how nice it was. If there was one negative, it would be that they put Parmesan on both and I’m not a big fan.

Excellent steaks served on the stone, with good service.

Picked this restaurant out of many. And what a pick it was. We live in the area and had friends for the night from Dorset. The restaurant really made our night one to remember. The food was stunning. The service was amazing (how our waitress put up with us I don't know the thirsty friend. And the guy that managed to get a couple of your great glasses.😂) . Thank you. I will definitely be back.👍

We had a large reunion at Tarantellas and Lorenzo and the whole team did a fantastic job!!! The tables were layed out as per our request, the food came out collectively for 44 of us all together, hot and delicious and the drinks service was first class!! The food was excellent and great value. Lorenzo was very helpful and attentive to all our needs. They managed to make our evening very special and considering there were so many of us it was all seamless and professional Without doubt we will be back!!

Went for a reunion dinner. The food was excellent, and the service was spot on. Can't find anything bad to say about this place.

Fantastic quality food in a modern, authentic setting with helpful, friendly service. The meal was delicious and we'll definitely be going again in future. The vegetarian option was so good that it convinced us to avoid the meat.

Best service I have ever received (Lorenzo is a top waiter). Unbelievable food & atmosphere 10/10 These guys seperate the best from the rest. I went to miller and cater yesterday and was very disappointed however this was genuinely one of the best steaks I have tasted and I’ve ate at renowned steak houses in London as this is where I live.

Came in for lunch on a Saturday. The waitress was very attentive to our needs and overall we had a lovely experience. Would come again to this restaurant

What an amazing experience! I’m quite a picky eater and I wouldn’t usually say it but food feels like Michelin start worthy! The best pasta I have ever had! The original Italian pizza was melting in my mouth and all food is so fresh! All staff are hard working and all are very friendly. My pre dinner cocktails came within minutes with was surprising for how busy the place is and the selection of wine is excellent! Will be definitely coming back!

Excellent food and very friendly service. The menu has a good range of vegetarian dishes. We both had risottos and enjoyed them very much. The restaurant has a very relaxed atmosphere. We will be back.

The best take out service I have ever received. The service, food and restaurant was 10/10. The staff were absolutely phenomenal. Despite how busy the restaurant was, Lorenzo in particular was outstanding. We came to this restaurant from London as it was highly recommended, definitely be re-visiting when I am in Somerset 👍 would recommend!!!

Delivered on bike when we live up a massive hill pizza toppings were all over the place but not on the pizza an absolute nightmare.

Tarantella is the place you want to go! The best Italian restaurant in Weston. Don't even think to look for a different place. Delicious food, fresh, warm and so tasty. Taste like proper Italian food in Italy. The manager is a credit to this restaurant. He is making sure everything is perfect and customers are happy. He is definitely working there with passion. WOW! wish we were staying for longer in the area as we would of definitely returned. We had 2 course lunch menu which was fantastic value for the quality of the food. Service was 10/10 and venue was brilliant, forgot we was in Weston for a while, and not in Italy. Highly recommend! Hopefully see you soon!

Came here with my family and we absolutely loved it. Friendly and attentive service, food was buonissimo! and came quickly as well. I'm also vegetarian and loved that I felt I had a range of options to choose from. Definitely will have to come back sometime. Grazie mille ragazze.

Mrs W had a brilliant sea food pasta and unfortunately my chicken was very dry.

Amazing place, food was incredible, only downside was the level of noise from other customers in the restaurant but that maybe due to the time we went. All in all i recommend having a meal here.

Lovely evening tonight (birthday meal) and the food was just fantastic and so well presented. Lovely atmosphere and music and given its a Tuesday it was busier than we expected which is always a good sign for any restaurant. I went for the Tarantella pizza and of course Tiramisu which is definitely the nicest I've had, tons of flavour, lovely textures I could have happily eaten it all night! The Panna Cotta is a must too, it looked truly stunning with its decoration and apparently tasted as nice as it looked. All in all worth every penny.

Super Italian with a good menu of excellently cooked and presented dishes. Quality dining at a sensible price point. Only downside is that it's on a street with several closed shops. But this is a true culinary oasis.

The chicken milanese was lovely with a decent portion and the interior of the place was also very nice. The staff was also nice. The only thing I would say is that its very expensive for what you get. the bread starter i got was very hard and tough to eat and the butter tasted bitter and weird-flavoured. Overall it was nice to try it out for the first time but I probably wouldnt go again.

So lucky to have an authentic Italian restaurant so close to home. Had the perfect mid- week meal for a celebration and could not find fault with food, service or atmosphere. Would recommend whether travelling to the area or local like myself.

Lovely food and friendly staff. Quick to get a highchair for the baby. Good food but everything had Parmesan in except the bolognase so it ruled out a lot of dishes for pregnant people or children. However, I am certain if we weren’t in such a big group and I had asked they would have taken it out for me. I just didn’t want to ask as we were a large group and it would have been complicated! They were all so friendly I think they would have been more than accommodating so will definitely go back as a smaller group

Been twice now and quickly become our favourite restaurant in weston, is going to be our regular date night place from now on. The steak on a hot plate they do was delicious, staff very friendly they even remembered us from our first visit definitely recommend

5th time visiting the new tarantella, as a fan of steak, and although the staff were very nice as usual, i have to congratulate the Chef. My steak was the best fillet steak i have had in about 30 years. We enjoyed beautifully cooked starters and mains for the 5th time in a row and will always be coming here. Grazie Mille !!!

Pizza was very good, chips now served in foil container so were still hot. Our previous order were in cardboard and cold although still delicious warmed in airfryer.

Pizza was good, delivery was on time, but the driver really needs to invest in a better way to deliver pizzas. all the toppings had slid off and were leaking out of the box. do better.

We eat here at least once a month. The food is 💯 per cent Italian. There is always an excellent choice of 😋 starters and mains. Day time they have a special menu which is £18 for two courses and is an absolute bargain. The staff are happy, helpful (we ALWAYS need doggy bags!) and my mother would like to add that the waiters are very handsome!

We have been to this restaurant many times and have always really enjoyed their food. Sadly our last meal there was not so good. we go for the sizzling stake on a hot stone which was always amazing but sadly we feel the quality of the meat was not so good. Chewy, gristly and smaller than before, you used to get a very small pot of sauce included but now have to pay £3.00 for a tiny pot of it and the meal itself has gone up £5.00.since our last visit. also the chips were so dry it took a monumental effort to eat just a few! On a positive note, great staff and atmosphere in the restaurant. Don’t compromise on quality at those prices or you will lose customers!

Excellent food and outstanding service, really authentic cooking and standards for an enjoyable and delicious meal. Chef catering for food intolerance and made me a special gluten free, goats cheese garlic bread so I didn't miss out, best Risotto, absolutely delicious, food is outstanding and great value. Definitely recommend.

I would strongly recommend I visited when I came to visit some friends and family , service is amazing and the wait time for food is just right , it was such a nice place to eat the atmosphere was very relaxing and calm , they are very catering to small children too. My husband said that the ribeye steak was the best steak he has ever had and he was so pleased to see that it was served on a hot stone, definitely will be returning to eat here when I next come down to visit .

10 of us celebrated my sister's birthday at Tarantella Ristorante last night and it was an exceptional experience. Lorenzo, our waiter, provided outstanding service throughout the evening, with a quick turn around time and helping us chose our food. I went for the salmon pasta which was recommended and was bursting with flavor, while my sister got the rib eye on the hot stone, which was delicious too. The ambiance, service, and dishes made it a memorable celebration. Highly recommended!

It was my first time in Tarantella's restaurant for a number of years, for the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. We were there just after opening so didn't have to wait for a table. The waitress looking after us was knowledgeable about queries we had about the menu but helped us to make great choices. We both had chicken based dishes as mains and they were up there with the best tasting food we'd ever had. I'd highly recommend the venue for anyone that enjoys freshly cooked Italian food
