Andy's is a great spot, highly recommend the captain's platter! Good beer too. Pro tip, do not park in the Legion parking lot.

Very fresh and tasty seafood at reasonable prices. Wait can be a bit long during nice weather or weekends but not too bad.

Their clam and salmon chowder and tacos are very good. The blackened Halibut and shrimp tacos are amazing if you have a decent tolerance for spice.

The fries are soggy, the fish is overcooked. How has this place gotten good reviews. As someone from London and has eaten fish and Chips my whole life, this is very disappointing. I can't understand how people write good reviews for such disappointing food. Believe this review stay away unless you enjoy disappointment.

My family goes here every year for my birthday. Amazing seafood and a great location by the river in the heart of Snohomish.

The Service was outstanding the food was mediocre at best. I asked for well done fries and got everything well done. There was no seasoning that I could taste in the COD breading. Pineapple coleslaw was tasty and fish was flaky except for the piece that had the vein and was rubbery. Overall the food was eatable and service saved the day.

Oysters were excellent and also the salad. Didn't care for fish and chips. Fresh seafood. I try them again and order something else. It's not cheap

After a great day exploring the antique shops in downtown Snohomish, Andy’s Fish House was the perfect way to wrap it up. The waterfront setting is fantastic, and the outdoor seating makes for a great dining experience. The food was excellent—fresh, well-prepared, and exactly what you’d hope for in a spot like this. The atmosphere is relaxed, and it’s a great place to sit back and enjoy the view while having a great meal. If you’re in Snohomish and looking for good seafood in a great setting, I’d definitely recommend stopping by Andy’s.

It had been many years since we had eaten at Andy's and decided to make the trip from Island County for a specific menu item. The fish was good, and although I subbed the fries for a different item, I sampled my husband's fries and they were awful. Very greasy, soggy, and over salted. The deal breaker for us was the 6% kitchen surcharge. I have already read the justification for continuing this practice and don't find it satisfactory. Paying your employees a decent wage is part of the price of doing business. Overpaying for a meal out is somewhat of a stretch for a lot of people already, but a mandatory tip for the kitchen staff should not be the customer's responsibility. We won't be returning to the restaurant strictly for this reason.

PoBoy would be easier to eat if only one side of the bread was cut.

It was our first (takeout) order from this place. Had high expectations based on reviews. But were disappointed. Fries were totally burnt. It was not a rush order and staff had plenty of time to check and replace fries if there was anything wrong. But someone chose to save a little extra work to make the order right. Fish and chicken were ok. Talked to manager Nicole and was told that cost of fries will be refunded.

We love their. Fish and chips. On our lat visit we swapped the fries for onion rings. Excellent move. Probably do that on our next visits too.

My family of 5 adults have been talking about trying Andy's for over a year, and we finally decided to go last night. First thing- the food was great. The seafood platters were perfectly fried, po boy was perfect, clam chowder is superb and the oysters in a half shell were also good. Secondly- the service was sub par. Once the food was delivered, the wait staff didn't check in once. No refills on soda or water, and no extra tarter sauce was given, although we asked for it when we ordered our food (and would happily pay for this delicious sauce). Will we be back? Yes, but we will wait until Summer when we can sit outside.

Chowder & fried clam strips were delicious 🫠

Over fried chips and prawns, and the halibut was average at best... Very expensive for an overcooked fastfood... Can't recommend and will not return... Now I'm sorry I left a tip for my takeout...

I gave two stars because my first two visits were delightful, and I would have given at least 4 stars. However, during my third visit, the fries and prawns were obviously over-fried. When we brought this up, we were told that their food is always prepared this way. Although they took the plate back, it returned with even more over-fried fries, which was quite disappointing. They didn’t charge me for the over-fried plates (which we basically didn’t eat), so there’s that, but they added a 6% kitchen service charge, which I’ve never seen before. I’m not sure if all of this was intentional or not, but I don’t think I will return to this place.

Very good beer selection, the atmosphere is always great. It's a popular place to go. Be prepared to wait but not too long of a wait. The staff is very professional .

They make some fantastic clam chowder and fried seafood dishes here. The gumbo is also quite good and I’ve enjoyed the seafood pasta dishes I’ve had as well. During the winter months there is limited seating as they don’t access to the outdoor seating due to the cold and rain. Great spot to get some seafood.

Fish was delicious fries not so good

Was looking for some good seafood and was hoping to love it, but was underwhelmed. I got the shrimp taco (3.5 star), clam chowder (3 star), and fried cod (1 star). Fish n chips should be a no brainer at a place like this - lacked flavor and tartar sauce was not good too. Shrimp taco was good, but a bit too spicy. Service was good. Nice waitress. She didn't recommend the fried fish and that should've been a giveaway. This place was too pricey for the quality.

Andy's is a fantastic place if you love seafood! it can get a bit loud and a bit crowded but that's kind of the charm with it. The server was fantastic, crayons and coloring page for my daughter and the food was worth the price. Parking on first street can be rough but if you plan on walking around checking out shops and you love seafood, definitely stop at Andy's!

Best halibut and chips in town!

Delish! I can’t say enough about the halibut taquitos, the flavor was spectacular and the crunch was on point. The fish and chips was an excellent portion, good amount of fish and the chips were made with a potato slicers which I always appreciate ( AKA not frozen potatoes). The sauces were excellent, the service was great, beer was fresh! I’d go back tomorrow if I didn’t live in Seattle.

I have seen this place several times, in the warmer months it is a full house inside and out so I assumed it was delicious. We were there in October, a chilly rainy evening so only indoor seating. What I assumed was a fish and chips shop is actually a quite delicious seafood restaurant. The atmosphere is casual with beautiful and bright undersea paintings. I had a Caesar Salad and the Smoked Salmon Chowder. The salad was delicious with an excellent house made dressing. The chowder was unbelievable. The perfect consistency, with a rich, unctuous flavor; plenty of veg and salmon. My husband had fish and onion rings. The batter wasn’t too heavy and the fish was tender and flavorful. The onions rings were really good. As we have a daughter that lives in Snohomish we will definitely be back

Food was ok. Fine if you want to charge a service fee, it doesn’t belong in the subtotal. Also, 6% makes it difficult to calculate my portion of the tip (maybe this is on purpose though?)

Three small pieces of dry fish for far to big a price. I have no issue with paying for a quality meal and this was not it. To add insult this place charges an extra charge for the kitchen. I tip well normally but not when a place tries this ridiculous garbage. Disappointed me and my date on her birthday and won't be doing that again.

We were on a fresh oyster lunch, for our 35th anniversary. The oysters served were the worst I have ever had. They were in a thick deep fried crunchy batter, and rolled in garlic. Maybe to hide they were not fresh. we threw them away. very disappointed. oysters are delicate and should be lightly floured and fried in a pan {hence pan fried oysters} but these were NOT

Best seafood in the North Sound

I came across Andy’s by accident and I’m so glad I did. I had the blackened catfish PoBoy, salmon chowder and a fresh side salad. This was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Even the salad was perfect. The environment and staff were amazing. I’ll be back.

As always 5 out of 5. We flew back from Montana for a food tour and Andys was on the top of our list. Highly recommend the bbq oysters and cioppino clams!

I love everything about this place! The service, the food, ambiance and most especially the outdoor sitting. Service was great, really fast and prompt and friendly host. Everything was absolutely delicious, We had a chowder, fried oysters and captains platter and they were amazing. We will definitely return again.

Wonderful experience all around. Hard working & kind employees, phenomal smoked salmon chowder & halibut n chips. Sad we live far away and cannot be regulars. Can't recommend Andy's enough!

We had a delightful lunch at Andy’s Fish House which is in an old service station. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our server Jay was very attentive. This place is a gem. I ordered the Fish and Chips, which was the best I’ve had in a while. And my spouse ordered the Calamari appetizer for lunch, which was very generous that even allowed me to have a few bites. Their tartar sauce is excellent. We seldom order dessert, but the meal was so good we ordered the Crème Brule to share which was also very good and enough for both of us. It’s always great to find a place that serves excellent seafood.

Went there on a Friday night with my wife. Was greeted quickly upon entering. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about the food. Speaking of the food that's were Andy's really shines. I had the halibut fish and chips. The fish was perfectly crispy and flaky. The fries were seasoned well and also very crispy. The only part of my dish I didn't enjoy was the tartar sauce, but overall I would highly recommend it. My wife had the fish tacos, she said they were some of the best she's had. The prices are very reasonable and it was very clean and well taken care of inside. We will definitely be returning many times.

Went for some fresh seafood and according to the waitress all the seafood is flash frozen with the exception of salmon which is in season. The patio is right next to the busy road. The meals ranging from 20-40 were rather small. The blackened salmon was very tasty but was a small filet and the steamed vegetables needed some seasoning. The steamer app was good but only about 12 muscles. The fish and chips with salmon left some seasoning to be desired and came with 3 very small pieces of fish. Overall, I would not recommend this place to a friend, especially if they were hungry.

Great for takeaway fish and chips. Choice of cod, haddock and plaice...all cooked to order. Service is quick and cheerful; never been disappointed.

Take an old gas station and turn it into my favorite dive eatery . I've been enjoying this place since Andy's Dad was the owner. Lots of memories . Always great food . It's not a tuxedo place . The staff are always great . I have never had a bad meal from them . Thank you to the Gibb family . Enjoy the Fishermans hand shake.

The service was excellent. The calamari were cooked to perfection. It was not gummy but tender! The Dungeness Crab? Oh my Crab...it was so easy to eat. 10/10

Our go to fish and chips spot, but the service tonight was the worst we've ever had at Andy's. Food was good as usual, but our server put forth the minimum amount of effort for someone in the service indusrty. Having worked in the industry before I try to be more understanding, but when all they do is stand around talking and not checking on tables or refilling drinks, that's unacceptable.

It was a beautiful day and I sat outside. I ordered the Oyster Po Boy. The oysters tasted fresh and were cooked perfectly. That and a glass of beer from the tap made the perfect lunch for me!

Service was exceptional. The ambience and atmosphere superb. The food was a huge disappointment 😞 little to no flavor. The fries was burnt and oily..I thought they would have improved 😔 but at least they are consistent. ☺️

Unfortunately for whatever reason, after patronizing here for a decade or more the service was regrettably under par. Waited ten mins for drinks order when a number of tables were empty. Waitress was clearly overworked but apologetic to a degree. Kumamoto Oysters were excellent as were the coconut prawns as usual. Ordered Halibut in panko but served COD amd it was dry and overcooked. but having waited so long, didn't want to conplain. Fries were well overcooked and only barely warm. My wife's Louie salad with shrimp (menu says all the veggies with eggs) was just sad. Large slices of white onion and white mushrooms and a touch of grated carrots, half a boiled egg and one cherry tomato and one slice of cucumber with a bunch of shrimp laid on top over mixed greens. Total bill $105. $125 with tip. We should have quit after the starters bc they were good. And no fork. Ate less than 10% of my dish and my wife ate maybe 20%. Mostly the shrimp. Andy's can do better. Has done well better especially when twas Chucks SG. Don't want to avoid coming here in future. Fyi. This is what a Louie salad should look like. Pic not from Andy's.

We love this place we go every time we are in the area I had the clam chowder in the sour dough bread bowl the chowder is delicious and the sour dough is actually a sour dough bread with is unusual for seafood place I think that's one of the thing that sets Andy's apart my wife had the fish and chips (halibut) beer batter they where lightly battered and crispy but still most inside

After a soccer match, we decided to go there, and I think we made a great choice. I always order cioppino if it's available, and while it was a generous portion that I enjoyed, it wasn't the best I've had. The kids loved the clam chowder and dishes from the kids' menu. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and the view of the skydiving was fantastic.

The clam chowder was delicious! I am not a seafood fan what so ever but their clam chowder was so delicious that i was able to fool my self into believing this wasn’t seafood. Staff was kind and helpful. Didn’t feel like i was an inconvenience which seems to be the normal customer service some establishments do lately.

Disappointing - been here before and it was great! This time I ordered fish tacos - they had 3 choices, 2 of which were labeled spicy. I specifically told the waiter that I did not want spicy but I preferred the type of fish that came with the spicy tacos (halibut). He said no problem, they can just switch the sauce. It was so spicy I couldn’t eat it. When he came by again, I explained the issue and he offered for me to order something different. I did but they charged me for the spicy tacos too because I had eaten part of it. It should have at least been explained to me that I could order something different but would be charged for both dishes. I said Ike to the manager who didn’t really seem to care.

West coast born-and-raised, in the ocean is where I spent most of my days. When I had an idea that was really no good, I moved to Texas from my beach town neighborhood. Ok enough of that. After two decades in Texas and having very few good seafood options available, I was really excited for this quick trip to visit family and to get some real dungeoness crab again. It was a weeknight and we were not in a metro area so a lot of stuff was closed. Found this little gem on Google and figured we’d try it out. Everything was excellent, and the crab did not disappoint. Super casual little place. Prices are extremely fair. Recommended, even if you have to drive a bit.

The staff were very friendly and attentive. Sitting outside was really nice on this sunny day. We were not really impressed with the food. It wasn't bad but for the price I expected better. The chowder was very good. The grits really needed more salt and pepper and butter ( I'm from the south). We split the captains platter. The fries were old and under salted. We didn't get the halibut that was supposed to come with it. Instead we were given two pieces of cod. The one single shrimp we got was odd tasting. Not that it was off but like maybe the frying oil was old. The clam strips were delicious as well as the single oyster. For for those prices I will stick to Anthony's HomePort.

This place is a wonderful fish house. An absolute must go if you are ever in town. Great service, great food, and great environment.

Friendly staff, great service, delicious food. Fries are the delicious, hand cut, perfectly fried. Fish was cooked perfectly on both the fish and chips and the fish sammy. Crunchy outside, flaky inside. The pineapple slaw had great flavor. Sauces and sides are equally as impressive.

Quality seems to have gone downhill for the price! Spent $144 for 3 people and a baby. I have been here before and loved the food! This time I was really disappointed. The best thing we ordered was the calamari. Don't waste your money on the "shrimp stuffed avocado", it's a joke! It was literally a half of an avocado with some small cocktail shrimp tossed on with some sauce. It was definitely not worth it. Scallops were too breaded, fish was bland, oysters were unfulfilling, and fries tasted old and weren't hot.

Easily the best fried seafood you can get in Washington. I drove up from Portland OR to get it and it was worth it.

You guys..we had the shrimp and grits today and holy moly!!!! Please make this a regular on your menu! Seriously some of the best grits I’ve had in a long time. Had it with a side of your gumbo. One of my favorite meals ever.

Had the fish wich, it was good, but the Cole slaw dressing over power the taste of the fish so I took it off, lots better.

Yup.... This place is as good as I've heard it was. The staff is incredibly welcoming and give the impression they love working there. The beer list is extensive and offers something for everyone's taste. But the food! I tried the sausage and prawns linguine , a house salad, and a blackened halibut taco. My tastebuds are still dancing. The linguine was cooked perfectly and the combination of prawns and sausage was surprisingly delicious. The taco was gushing with fish and cabbage and just the right amount of heat. I'll definitely be returning there.

We had lunch there this past week with friends from Hawaii, one with many food allergies. We called in advance to see if those needs could be accommodated and they were! When we arrived, and made mention, cooks and wait staff were ready to answer all questions and ensured beyond any question that precautions would be taken and prepared according to needs. Our guest was delighted! Delicious food for all of us and a caring, considerate and wonderful experience!

We love Snohomish! We love walking around to restaurants, and shops and love the oyster shooters at Andy’s Fish House! Those are our go-to for sure! We had calamari the last time we visited and it was good but not the best I’ve ever had.
