An Najeeb in Leicester

One of my favourite places. Love the indo Chinese tawa.

We visited recently, and we’ve always gone an najeeb. Honestly was so disappointed, firstly my kids got food poisoning from their kids menu. Both complained of stomach ache after few hours and puked up (we were shocked it came out so quick. Like it was pre-made and not fresh) the chicken was chewy too. The adults got the Chinese tawa. It was all sweet and tasted the same. Honestly so disappointed we didn’t even eat it. We’ve had an najeeb so many times. And it was always nice. We came after some time and the food gone down hill. Even got the soup and had to be sent back as it tasted like an Indian curry rather than hot sour soup. The service, honestly awful. Customer don’t come first. They didn’t even check up to see if we’re okay. Just stood around, didn’t even ask once if it’s okay. Kept having to call them to ask for refills or if things needed changing. I don’t think we’ll be visiting again. Just very disappointed all the dishes on the tawa tasted the same and the chicken was chewy and some even tasted off. And I spat it out. Wallahi not even one word of a lie. I wouldn’t have a left a review it didn’t affect our health. It’s not even about the money but for what we paid the service and food. Disappointed. It’s Not the same. Like how it used to be. Even the service. The staff stand around speaking to each other without any customer care. Such shame, it was really good and gone down hill. Wouldn’t go back.

Whole chicken gone missing in there packing when I call them they can’t refund they can’t do delivery can do anything for the customer shop opened for stealing money from customers.

Después de haber pedido un Starter 3 Popadam tuvo que pagar £ 2. 50 extra por una bandeja de salsas que era una estafa! También pedimos pollo loli pops que no eran a Estándar yo diría que no disfrutamos! También pedimos pollo de entrada Tikka que era el único plato que disfrutamos! Los platos principales que pedimos fueron 1 Tikka Paneer, 1 Butter Chicken & 1 , Plato de cordero similar al Karai. El Tikka Paneeer era el único plato principal que tenía un sabor razonable. Sin embargo, el plato de mantequilla de pollo y cordero fueron muy decepcionantes al tener muy pocas porciones de carne! Te sirven porciones de carne tan pequeñas y justifican cuando nos quejamos de que las porciones reflejan el costo! y sin embargo, están felices de tomar el pago de más de £ 10. 50 por cada plato. Las bebidas pedidas eran dos mangos lassi que no era lo suficientemente dulce y una fruta fresca de la pasión que estaba tan regado que ni siquiera sabía a fruta fresca de la pasión - mi esposa no disfrutó y no lo dejó beber! ¡Cuando pides agua te sirven como uno de los Severn Trent Water confirmados por el camarero! La verdad es que un mendigo en un país devastado por la guerra o cualquier persona que reciba ayuda alimentaria recibiría porciones mucho más generosas de carne en una comida que este restaurante local de clase muy baja. En serio, me sentí PEOR que un mendigo que me dieron comida en este restaurante ayer con esposa, hija y yo costando 75 libras! Me sentí ENGAÑADO y TRISTE por haber pagado £ 75 para una cena de clase baja muy local. NO RECOMENDARÍA este restaurante y NUNCA irá allí de nuevo!

Very Unhappy having been with my Family. We ordered Starters being chicken tikka which was the only dish we enjoyed. We also ordered chicken loli pop which was very poor in taste and not to Standard. We also ordered 3 popadoms and a tray of dips which we had to pay £2.50 extra for rip off! Our drinks arrived first being two mango lassi which was not sweet enough and one fresh passionfruit which was very much watered down & did not taste like passionfruit. We ordered our main dish of three one being tikka paneer which my partner ordered & said was not to standard lacking taste. My daughter ordered a butter chicken which had very little chicken pieces and was not upto standard, my daughter loves her food but on this occasion was not in favour of her butter chicken saying it was poor in taste and very little boneless chicken. I ordered a lamb main course dish similar to lamb karai which was oily and had very mingy pieces of lamb & so much sauce. I was very displeased & unhappy with the overall experience. I asked for water and when I asked the waiter whether it was filtered water he replied saying that it was trent water from the tap and that any filtered or bottle water would be charged extra. The waiter on complaining about the little chicken & lamb in our main dish replied that due to the high cost of everything they only serve the given amount when they happily charged me in full £10.50 for each main course. Honestly food aid given to the poor or in war torn countries receive more in portions whereas I felt we having paid £75 for a evening dinner were left feeling worse than a beggar and cheated of our money. I found this restaurant to be very much like a local looking place with a mind for profits more than delivering quality tasteful food. The waiter on complaining the portions said that the portions reflected the high rising cost of merchandise all around to include the running costs of the restaurant. How pathetic an answer and happily charging us £75 for a Evening Meal for Three. I will definitely never visit this placin & would not recommend it to any other person. A Very Bad Experience!!!

AMAZING! Perfect taste! perfect portions! Nice and interesting interior, curtains are even there at the table so you can really enjoy your food without disturbance! Ahmed wonderful ,welcoming and enthusiastic!

Decent pricing and atmosphere. The food was definitely great, the people were welcoming too. Id go back for the food, however they didnt take card and i noticed it says they do. Anyway the rest was good and they did not take much time for the food too.

Ordered the Desi Tawa for two as a takeaway. While the food looked good, I found it quite expensive for the taste. The flavors didn’t quite meet expectations, especially considering the price point. Also, the chips went watery and soggy in the container within about 10 minutes, which was disappointing. Would recommend they consider better packaging for takeaway orders and there was no parking

food is average, portion is very small for 4 person Tawa £70 barely enough for 2 people

Been here many times over the years and we’ve always received great food and service! Our waitress was very attentive and ensured we were looked after throughout the meal. The food as always was delicious.

We visited recently as a group of two adults and two children. We were seated and had our order taken in a timely fashion. The food arrived promptly and was to a very high standard. Staff were friendly, approachable, helpful and attentive. We would highly recommend visiting this place and sampling some of their delicious food. The bhindi masala in particular was delicious.

I had an amazing experience at An Najeeb today. We ordered Indo-Chinees Tawa for two people. It included Crispy Chicken, Chicken 65, Chili Garlic Prawns, Chili paneer, Veg Hakka noodles, Salt and pepper chips and Egg fried rice. The food was absolutely delicious. especially the Chili garlic prawns, and the service was top-notch. Our waitress, Anjana, was very attentive and made excellent recommendations. The ambiance was perfect for a relaxing evening out.I can't wait to come back!"

An Najeebs is a firm favourite of mine. I often order the Indo-Chinese tawa with the original virgin mocktail and it never fails to satisfy me. The service is great. The food is even better! Definitely worth a visit!

We were recommended to come here by a friend who lives in Leicester (we were just visiting the city), and it was a great shout. We had the indochinese platter washed down with mango lassi - honestly, portions were huge, food was super tasty and the service attentive without being intrusive. We will be back when we next in Leicester!

I throughly enjoy dining at Al Najeeb. My favourite go to is Indo- Chinese Tawa. The food is immaculate and great staffing service. It is popular, so would recommend calling ahead during peak hours.

Been multiple times..The food always up to the mark..we always go for Desi Tawa.. The best is the masala chops. good food with big quantity..

Order food on monday as the weather was bad. Paid 41 pounds for the order from which 1 dish that was chicken lollipops was hard and stale. I replied to uber eats to let them know and asked for a refund as was not edible to eat. After constant asking still they say we will take it as a feedback. I am so unhappy as they charged me for a dish that I love eating . Always love an najeeb food but this really is disappointing after being a regular customer.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at An Najeeb restaurant with colleagues. The ambiance and cleanliness of the establishment were immediately noticeable. The service was prompt and efficient, which is not always the case at Asian restaurants. Our server, Miss Anjana, was particularly impressive. She was professional and welcoming, and she answered all of our questions about the menu with patience and expertise. While the ambiance, staff, and service were all excellent, I believe there is room for improvement in the food. As an Asian myself, I value the balance of spices in cuisine, and I found that the dishes we ordered were somewhat lacking in this regard. Overall, I had a positive experience at An Najeeb restaurant and would recommend it to others. However, I believe that the food could be improved to better reflect the authentic flavors of Asian cuisine. I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the staff for their dedication and hard work. I wish them continued success in their future endeavors. If I were to open my own restaurant, I would be honored to have a team of employees as capable and dedicated as they are.

Top top food here at An Najeeb. Indo-Chinese Tawa is definitely the most popular. Service could imrpove, however staff have always been helpful and kind, just a little slow for the modern restaurant. Decor and atmosphere could definitely improve, very outdated decor.

The taste of tawa is so good, if you order 4 portions it's quite enough and you would be very satisfied. Will see you again and service by shreethina cool 🥰

El personal es muy agradable y te atiende tan pronto como los necesitas! Tienen tamaños absolutamente grandes de alimentos, así como pequeños, literalmente no puede equivocarse. A great restaurant located in the centre of Leicester town. Food was absolutely amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed it. We ordered Indo- Chinese and it came in a huge tawa. The presentation was outstanding. Very friendly customer service. Each and every waiter ensured we are ok. Especially a waitress called Misriya who was very kind, friendly and helpful. She said she started quiet recently but she had good knowledge of the food when we asked. Loved the food, Loved the restaurant arrangements and interiors, Will certainly recommend to others and will visit too.
