Amazing hospitality, delicious food and my kids loved the atmosphere. Fully recommend.

Worst customer service I’ve experienced in Leicester!!! Communicate with your customers verbally or put at sign upon entry that you only accept cash!!!! It’s not hard! We arrived just before closing time and appreciated that they was happy to accommodate us providing we wouldn’t be a long time in which we agreed to as we were hungry and simply just wanted to eat and be in our way. We decided our order quickly, staff were being consistently pushy throughout our meal time telling us we have to be quick numerous times whilst we were clearly eating, mopping the floor with very strong bleach which was very unpleasant while we was eating. We all enjoyed our food very much and would have liked to return however when asking for the bill they then tell us rudely cash only. Neither of us had cash nor card to go and walk to the cash machine and come back like they request all their guests to do, then they hand us a piece paper with bank details and tell us we have to bank transfer which we are completely not happy to do as this is not a safe option for ourselves nor are we required to have to do that form of payment. We was more than happy to settle our bill via card as we enjoyed our food but there is no sign upon entry telling guest cash only, we engaged with numerous staff and all failed to notify us prior to ordering and eating that they only accept cash. They have one small notice across the restaurant on a table, we sat near to the door in the corner being rushed the entire time and they blame us for not seeing the small notice they have for cash only. They trick the customers to come in, order and eat not knowing it’s cash only for obvious reasons, avoiding taxes to leave the customer with no other choice but to go get cash to settle their bill as you’ve already consumed the food. If we had known it was cash only we wouldn’t have stayed and eaten here. Saving us and them the hassle.

This is undoubtedly one of the finest restaurants in Leicester that I have visited. Ahmed always greets patrons with an exceptional atmosphere, and the food is truly exquisite. I have lost count of how many times I have dined here, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it

The butter chicken… I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s the best I’ve ever tasted. Rich, creamy, perfectly spiced – every bite was a burst of flavour that left me wanting more. You can really taste the care and authenticity that goes into each dish. The restaurant itself has a lovely, relaxed atmosphere and it’s clear the team takes real pride in what they do. I left feeling full, happy, and already planning my next visit. If you’re ever in Nairn, do yourself a favour and eat here. Incredible food, outstanding service, and a team that makes you feel like family. A true gem.

Went with my friends and got the tawa for 4. Portion size was extremely generous and food tasted good. The server was welcoming and pleasant at all times. Overall a really positive experience!

Been here on a number of occasions previously, this occasion ordered a desi tawa for 3 people The tawa contained 3 lamb chops, 3 chicken wings, 3 or 4 chicken tikka pieces, 3 sheesh kebabs, chicken curry, lamb curry, fries, boiled rice and 3 naan/roti The lamb curry tasted lovely, full of flavour but the downside was it seemed there was more bones than meat, mixed grill was far to oily and the sheesh kebabs have shrunk compared to previous visits, basically the width of my nail and the size of my middle finger as you can see in one of the pictures, chicken curry was bland and tasteless and to top it off there was far to much fries and boiled rice compared to curries. Alot of the tawa space gets taken up by carbs. Basically left the place still hungry as the portion sizes have drastically gone smaller to all previous visits and tasted well different... So all in all was very disappointed to say the least... Finally it was like we was being rushed to finnish eating our food, so they can seat other customers...

I have been going to An Najeeb for a few years now, and it it is one of the best places to eat in Leicester especially if you’re in the mood for a bit of Indian. The service is top notch aswell and the hospitality is great!

Ordered a Desi Tawa. Explained we want low spice but the food was too spicy. This has happened on 2 occasions, not good at all. Even after telling the staff they did nothing , at least give the customer something else to eat considering we travelled from Birmingham And spent £80

Discriminating staff behaviour. Service is very slow. Never recommend if you are going with your family or friends. They can ruin your special day if you booking this restaurant for special events. Discriminating, unprofessional, slow service. Dont even know a good customer service. Food is quite good especially lamb chops but the portions are small (does that matter if food is good). However , you can order online but might need to put additional Instructions for packaging as the currys leaked sometimes.

Chicken jalfrezi and prawn biryani and garlic bread and chicken noodles are our favourite. Cooked to perfection, full of flavour/spices.

Tasty chicken curry and tawa. Sufiyaan served us good. He asked us everything and gave whatever we asked.

Day time Robbery, 1 Roti, £2.50 absolutely Crazy price, and size smaller then Regular . They keep curry dish £11.95 and with that all side dish they charge crazy, All restorant smell of curry and fish. Test of all curry one colour one test. only Good is service , All waiters are good attentive ,

Sharing a platter was good between 3 people, but the last bit of the masala in the tawa got a stale taste

We have ordered the chinese tawa for 4 people all the items in the tawa was having the same taste only the items colour was different even the lollypop was having a bad smell and too oily food was too expensive

Usually An najeeb has been very good and consistent. This time was just an average experience. Booked table for 7pm. Arrived just before and they had table ready. I got there couple minutes after 7 and soon as I sat down was asked if we were ready to order. I asked the waiter to give some time as I've just sat down. 2 minutes later again a waiter was there to take order. Seemed like they wanted us in and out very quickly. We ordered their 2 tawas. Desi and Indo Chinese. The desi tawa was really nice. Right spice and cooked well. The Indo Chinese tawa however was poor. It was really spicy and oily at same time. We have had this many times before and it was not upto their regular standards. Overall was ok but service was poor and food was average.

We visited recently, and we’ve always gone an najeeb. Honestly was so disappointed, firstly my kids got food poisoning from their kids menu. Both complained of stomach ache after few hours and puked up (we were shocked it came out so quick. Like it was pre-made and not fresh) the chicken was chewy too. The adults got the Chinese tawa. It was all sweet and tasted the same. Honestly so disappointed we didn’t even eat it. We’ve had an najeeb so many times. And it was always nice. We came after some time and the food gone down hill. Even got the soup and had to be sent back as it tasted like an Indian curry rather than hot sour soup. The service, honestly awful. Customer don’t come first. They didn’t even check up to see if we’re okay. Just stood around, didn’t even ask once if it’s okay. Kept having to call them to ask for refills or if things needed changing. I don’t think we’ll be visiting again. Just very disappointed all the dishes on the tawa tasted the same and the chicken was chewy and some even tasted off. And I spat it out. Wallahi not even one word of a lie. I wouldn’t have a left a review it didn’t affect our health. It’s not even about the money but for what we paid the service and food. Disappointed. It’s Not the same. Like how it used to be. Even the service. The staff stand around speaking to each other without any customer care. Such shame, it was really good and gone down hill. Wouldn’t go back.

Whole chicken gone missing in there packing when I call them they can’t refund they can’t do delivery can do anything for the customer shop opened for stealing money from customers.

Very Unhappy having been with my Family. We ordered Starters being chicken tikka which was the only dish we enjoyed. We also ordered chicken loli pop which was very poor in taste and not to Standard. We also ordered 3 popadoms and a tray of dips which we had to pay £2.50 extra for rip off! Our drinks arrived first being two mango lassi which was not sweet enough and one fresh passionfruit which was very much watered down & did not taste like passionfruit. We ordered our main dish of three one being tikka paneer which my partner ordered & said was not to standard lacking taste. My daughter ordered a butter chicken which had very little chicken pieces and was not upto standard, my daughter loves her food but on this occasion was not in favour of her butter chicken saying it was poor in taste and very little boneless chicken. I ordered a lamb main course dish similar to lamb karai which was oily and had very mingy pieces of lamb & so much sauce. I was very displeased & unhappy with the overall experience. I asked for water and when I asked the waiter whether it was filtered water he replied saying that it was trent water from the tap and that any filtered or bottle water would be charged extra. The waiter on complaining about the little chicken & lamb in our main dish replied that due to the high cost of everything they only serve the given amount when they happily charged me in full £10.50 for each main course. Honestly food aid given to the poor or in war torn countries receive more in portions whereas I felt we having paid £75 for a evening dinner were left feeling worse than a beggar and cheated of our money. I found this restaurant to be very much like a local looking place with a mind for profits more than delivering quality tasteful food. The waiter on complaining the portions said that the portions reflected the high rising cost of merchandise all around to include the running costs of the restaurant. How pathetic an answer and happily charging us £75 for a Evening Meal for Three. I will definitely never visit this placin & would not recommend it to any other person. A Very Bad Experience!!!

Decent pricing and atmosphere. The food was definitely great, the people were welcoming too. Id go back for the food, however they didnt take card and i noticed it says they do. Anyway the rest was good and they did not take much time for the food too.

Ordered the Desi Tawa for two as a takeaway. While the food looked good, I found it quite expensive for the taste. The flavors didn’t quite meet expectations, especially considering the price point. Also, the chips went watery and soggy in the container within about 10 minutes, which was disappointing. Would recommend they consider better packaging for takeaway orders and there was no parking

We visited recently as a group of two adults and two children. We were seated and had our order taken in a timely fashion. The food arrived promptly and was to a very high standard. Staff were friendly, approachable, helpful and attentive. We would highly recommend visiting this place and sampling some of their delicious food. The bhindi masala in particular was delicious.

An Najeebs is a firm favourite of mine. I often order the Indo-Chinese tawa with the original virgin mocktail and it never fails to satisfy me. The service is great. The food is even better! Definitely worth a visit!

I had an amazing experience at An Najeeb today. We ordered Indo-Chinees Tawa for two people. It included Crispy Chicken, Chicken 65, Chili Garlic Prawns, Chili paneer, Veg Hakka noodles, Salt and pepper chips and Egg fried rice. The food was absolutely delicious. especially the Chili garlic prawns, and the service was top-notch. Our waitress, Anjana, was very attentive and made excellent recommendations. The ambiance was perfect for a relaxing evening out.I can't wait to come back!"

We were recommended to come here by a friend who lives in Leicester (we were just visiting the city), and it was a great shout. We had the indochinese platter washed down with mango lassi - honestly, portions were huge, food was super tasty and the service attentive without being intrusive. I throughly enjoy dining at Al Najeeb. My favourite go to is Indo- Chinese Tawa. The food is immaculate and great staffing service. It is popular, so would recommend calling ahead during peak hours.

Been multiple times..The food always up to the mark..we always go for Desi Tawa.. The best is the masala chops. good food with big quantity..

Order food on monday as the weather was bad. Paid 41 pounds for the order from which 1 dish that was chicken lollipops was hard and stale. I replied to uber eats to let them know and asked for a refund as was not edible to eat. After constant asking still they say we will take it as a feedback. I am so unhappy as they charged me for a dish that I love eating . Always love an najeeb food but this really is disappointing after being a regular customer.
