Twenty members of the Vets Club met up at Amy's. Great food and excellent, friendly staff who coped very well with a large number to be served. No complaints at all and highly recommended. A return visit is planned in the near future.

We've been regulars here for a few years now. The food is delicious, the portions are large. The restaurant is spotlessly clean. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend Amy's.

Impromptu brunch….didn’t book. The place was busy on Friday late morning, but managed to find a table. Our order was taken promptly. Drinks arrived quickly. I thought we’d be waiting ages for food, but no. Arrived within about 15 mins of ordering. Everything was cooked beautifully and so fresh. I think it’s my 4th time here, maybe 5th. And I’ve never been disappointed! Well done to the team on such a fabulous restaurant!

Extremely busy today but the normal great service and standards, such a well organised place. The enchiladas were superb and a huge portion. Thank you Amys!!

Popped in here yesterday for lunch with a friend and felt like I needed to leave a review because we had such an enjoyable meal. My friend went for the 1/2 Cornish breakfast and I had the open crispy Chicken wrap, the presentation was beautiful and all the ingredients tasted so fresh. Mine was so big I had to take half home and finish it for dinner! The service was great and the venue is really lovely.

Amy’s kitchen and bar, one word- WOW. Amazing food, a nice variety of drinks. The staff are lovely, Amy the owner is just outright gorgeous, beautiful aura, talk about service with a smile. 10/10 all around really.

Fast service, lovely food and good atmosphere. We had eggs benedict and the salmon and scrambled eggs with Guacamole - both well presented and very tasty. We will be back.

We had a late breakfast today and had a lovely time with our pug Marley who was made very welcome with some doggy treats. The food was great as usual! We try to come at least once a month as we really enjoy the food, coffee and atmosphere. We got talking to the front of house when it came up in conversation that we sadly lost our other pug to cancer recently, he was only 6yrs and we last visited with him last month. Just before we were about to leave the the two waitresses presented us with a little gesture which meant a lot to us because we miss our little pug everyday. Thank you again for your act of kindness we will be back again next month.

Possibly the best vegetarian breakfast I have ever had! That’s quite a statement I know but I think justified. Fresh produce, superbly cooked, including a piping hot field mushroom, spinach, halloumi, and gorgeous guacamole, and that’s only half the breakfast. Really top notch. Visited a few weeks ago for breakfast for the first time after recommendations and was not disappointed! We hadn't booked and had little ones with us, but nothing was too much trouble! Our food and drinks arrived promptly and were delicious! I enjoyed it so much I've been back since with my husband and again, everything was fab! Can't wait to go back and try the lunch menu!

A not very warm welcome and not very friendly service, but the service was efficient and the food was good, a smile would have been nice though.

This place has been hyped by everyone we know so we decided to visit. Food (the breakfast) was surprisingly average. Food arrived tepid and disappointing. Coffee was weak! My partner enjoyed her food but I couldn’t help but walk out at the end thinking this was a poor experience.

We visited this amazingly clean and wonderful establishment on an evening event of which we wish there were more. the Tapas were amazing and even with 2 4 Year olds the food was ravished, it was also delivered in good time considering the number of people present. They have a reasonable selection of drinks/Beers. The Guitarist was not particularly our scene, but it was not massively offputing to us. Hopefully there may be more event nights soon!

We popped in for breakfast. Not feeling 'meaty' I opted for a 'half veggie'. What a joy! This clever combination of veggie items included:- Hash brown, a proper veg sausage not meat substitute, mushroom, spinach, halloumi, beans, egg, toast and guacamole, yes guacamole. The mix was genius. My partner and friend opted for a full, and a half cornish. Both were delicious, apparently. Amys menu is not extensive but covers breakfast, lunch, snacks and cakey tea! Looking forward to trying the fish platter or the melted cheese board another time.

We spotted this place on tripadvisor and thought worth a stop for breakfast as so close to where we were staying... we ended up going back another two times! Contrary to other reviews we found the staff to be very professional and helpful and the food was incredibly good value. Absolutely delicious and generous portions. I tried the salmon and scrambled eggs, the fish and chips and the waffles with Berries and thoroughly enjoyed all. The salmon was some of the tastiest I have tried. My mum and I also tried one of the cakes which again was delicious (although glad we halved it as very rich!). We also found the little touches to make all the difference, they brought water and biscuits for out little dog without being asked, and one one visit even gave her a puppachino (complimentary). Sauces, salt and pepper etc all brought without asking. We were very sad to be moving on away from this little spot, would highly recommend to anyone in the area!

Love this place. Mid range prices. Amazing food. Took my daughter for breakfast before i had to go to work. She had chicken waffles & i had the full cornish. Also took away two wedges of delicious cakes for later! Highly recommend!

I hosted a friend’s baby shower here this morning and it was absolutely perfect! The cafe is beautiful and the staff were fab! The waffles are a particular favourite of mine - will definitely be going again soon!
