Christmas Day lunch was absolutely lovely. One of our party was Gluten Free and was very well catered for. Food was beautiful and plenty of it. Service was fabulous as usual. Would definitely recommend.

Warm welcome and delicious Italian food. Really enjoyed our evening dinner. Could not fault the customer service and more importantly the food really worth every penny.

Pizza was delicious, soft fresh doe, cooked to perfection with fresh toppings. I highly recommend visiting. The Amore Pizza was a good combo and unique. Service was great and the atmosphere was chilled and classy.

Found this restaurant when looking for somewhere pre watching local football team and will definitely return when we have more time to enjoy. Excellent selection of foods on the menu, extremely friendly and attentive staff, lovely atmosphere. Can’t fault and highly recommend.

Came on Saturday for our Wedding Anniverary and unfortunately I will not be back. We have dined here several times and was looking forward to a night out. Service was not at its best and the food quality this round was underwhelming. I left the restaurant feeling very let down and not eaten a proper meal.

Looking for somewhere to have dinner on our last evening in the Cotswolds we ended up at Amore, an Italian restaurant in Corsham. It is cozy inside and the atmosphere is pleasant. Not noisy, we have enough space. The service is very friendly and reached a peak when we ordered our food. The man who helped us was super friendly, interested and helpful. He was willing to adapt the dish we used to our wishes. Well that was unique. Thank you very much for that. We had a nice evening in Amore!

We had a great experience at Amore. We ordered delicious pizzas and pasta. The food was really good and so was the service! Portion sizes were generous.

It is one of the few restaurants in the area that opens until late, its menu is very varied, the prices are affordable and the food and service are excellent. We were exploring the nearby towns and managed to find this great restaurant, very clean and tidy. They always treated us very well, everyone was very friendly and smiling. I highly recommend this place and I'm sure you will be just as happy as I am.

My husband & I have eaten a number of times at Amore & our latest visit didn’t disappoint. We took some friends there was dinner yesterday. We choose a meat and cheese sharing platter to start with which was beautifully presented & delicious. Our friends raved about their calamari starter. I had a chicken & mushroom tagliatelle & my husband chose a calazone. Our friends both had pasta dishes. We then moved on to dessert, limoncello over ice cream & sorbet, a raspberry panacotta & a tiramisu. All our meals were absolutely delicious. The staff are friendly & their service is excellent. We look forward to a return visit

Arrived as a threesome with the wife and my daughter for my daughter’s birthday and don’t think it could have been much worse. Staff seemed resigned to both delivering terrible service and food. 3 starters, bruschetta was cold and not toasted, Prawns were tasteless and the garlic mushrooms were more like mushroom soup. Chicken and mushroom with spinach main was unlike anything I’ve chewed before however the pizza was good. Didn’t go for the dessert as felt better to call it quits. Was offered a reduction in price, but I didn’t explore what they were offering as the experience was so bad, I’d prefer to review honestly. Really dissatisfied and wished I had not visited

Great staff, bland and uninspiring food. The food arrived very quickly which is usually appreciated, there is a simplicity to Italian food that you can do very right or very wrong. In this case I think the speed at which the food arrived points towards the lack of care. We ordered the salmon with champagne sauce and the carbonara. The carbonara was advertised as a “creamy egg yolk” sauce, but it was a heavy cream sauce, almost frothy with no flavour; the “pancetta” carried no flavour throughout and even lacked the most basic flavours of salt and pepper, this was not worth the money at all. the salmon was well cooked and the prawns (as you should expect) but the “champagne” sauce held onto a bitter flavour and lacked any taste at all. For a few greasy vegetables and a tiny piece of salmon id expect a lower price tag for this dish. The lemon saved it. (Lemon and butter would have tasted better in this case.) good asparagus.

Great selection on the menu, excellent customer care, would highly recommend and be back again very soon.

Honestly, I’ve had banoffee pie all over the world, and I couldn’t believe it but this place topped it all off. The sourdough was also spectacular!

Recently dined here with friends. Service was exceptional and the food great. It was a midweek visit so it was rather quiet but would would definitely come back again.

Went in on valentines night for the first time. Was looking forward to the usual menu but was open to the Valentine’s Day menu which they were only serving that night. Was really disappointed with the quality of the food especially when paying this price for a set menu. Chicken was very dry and found it very hard to swallow Also found what looked like blue bits of mould on the Cannoli

Great independent restaurant with a convivial, family-friendly atmosphere. A "proper" Italian place with authentic Italian waiters who addressed my mum as 'Mamma ', which I think pleased her. A wide variety of largely traditional Italian options on the menu. Everything we had was delicious and appeared to be freshly prepared. I also had a limoncello cocktail and a couple of glasses of valpolicella ripasso, both of which I'd recommend. Music perhaps on the loud side but I guess 'o sole mio' on full blast adds to the Italian-ness 🙂 Update 22/12/2023 - still great and so pleased to not be forced to have a "Christmas menu" for my birthday - all the regular menu options still available.

The service was first class. The main meal was excellent. But the soup for starters was luke warm and not much of it at all.

A slightly disappointed experience. The service wasn't great understaffed kept waiting The squid was overcooked rubbery. One mussel closed should NOT have been seeved I asked for water twice, received a smirk, and had no water drlivered. Both times I asked different staff, I requested a coke not delivered, disappointed with the service when spending three figures in a restaurant you expect a better quality of service.

We had a really fabulous meal here. Tony is an excellent server, friendly and smiley. We will be back really soon and will spread the word about just how good it is! Favourite place to eat in Corsham now without a doubt! The pizzas are so delicious and the pricing is fair. The wine is delicious as are the desserts!

Food was perfect and arrived very quickly. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We were the first ones in the door, so although it was quiet as early as we went it was still a pleasant atmosphere. Will definitely return again!

Best carbonara I've ever eaten. I spent all day the next day reminiscing the taste. Will definitely be returning to try other dishes from the menu.

Pleasantly surprised, good food and service but must comment negatively on the gents bathroom, no water available from the sink and generally below par.

We had a lovely meal here tonight. We live in Chippenham, and both Italian restaurants there are average (at best). So we thought we'd give Amore a try. The welcome was warm. the service was prompt. They accommodated our preferences on both of our main dishes and were both superb 👏 I had Linguine AI Gamberoni (with penne instead of Linguine) this was one of the very best pasta dishes I've had. A perfect potion size as well. My wife's Pollo Crema E Fungi was equally tasty. A real highlight was the buttered spinach she ordered! We finished with Homemade Lemon Cheesecake, and this was light and delicious. We both considered the meal good value, and we'll be sure to return soon.

That used to be my favourite restaurant when living in Corsham. Great quality food and drinks, truly recommend!

Previously had good experiences here generally. Thought I'd treat myself to a fillet steak which can only be described as a bad piece of meat, followed by a replacement sirlion as I was told that all of the fillets were being cut from one piece of meat. Unfortunately the sirloin was not good meat either. Both pieces were cooked perfect, but the meat itself just wasn't worth over £20 with a few chips and a bit of salad. Makes you regret going out for steak when you can do it better at home with more things on the plate for well under a tenner. Shame.

I had the best calzone I have ever eaten here and I've had a fair few! My wife had mushroom risotto which she thought was very good. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere without being too loud. The only thing that let it down on our visit was the service. Apart from coming to take our drinks order, we had to find a staff member to take our food order and the same for a dessert menu. Think we might have caught them on a bad night as other reviews we read say differently about the service but I can only say what we found. Really nice food though and a really good atmosphere.

A very disappointing experience. My wife and I wanted something different and popped into Amore. We asked if they accepted walk in's and they said yes however we were rudely treated from the moment we were sat. They told us they had the table by a certain time but then we felt rushed. My wife wanted to leave immediately but I was thinking this would get better. It didn't. The food was great but the service was very uncomfortable. Would we go back, no.

I've only been in here once, but the pizza was perfect; thin, crispy crust - with a nice crispy butter finish. Nice house red. Will be going back.

Table of 8, ordered food in advance. Mixed fish platter starter was okay but calamari was a little rubbery and only 2 prawns. Tagliatelle moules main dish was okay, however, could have more generous with the moules - I counted just 8. The lemon cheesecake was delicious. Overall, a reasonable restaurant with good service and a great atmosphere.

The food was tasty - what there was of it; I ordered saltimbocca alla Romana; decent enough amount of pork, tasty sauce but tiny amounts of saute potatoes and the vegetables (effectively Italian Ratatouille) almost a garnish. Expensive for what it was; what price a bit more vegetables? Service was pleasant and good, the restaurant comfortable, but nothing that would make me rush back.

No complaints here. We had a very nice meal for 2 on a Saturday night. Restaurant was full but we were served promptly enough without any real long wait. The food was very lovely so we will be going again.

I’ve got to hand it to this Italian restaurant! Absolutely delicious and well presented meals. I don’t know where to start when it comes to describing my meals. But I chose the bruschetta which came with prosciutto ham - delightful. Well presented, only thing I would mention is that it would have been nice for the ciabatta to have been a bit crispier as found it to be quite soft but might be a different sort of style. The steak. Wowee! What can I say. Cooked to perfection (medium rare) probably a tad bit on the rare side but I found it so tasty. And the nice touch of garlic butter on top of the steak made it even better. I swapped the dolce latte sauce with peppercorn sauce and oh my goodness. The taste was incredible! You could just tell it was homemade. The chips seasoned well with rosemary maybe? They were delicious. I had a Christmas pudding as my dessert and that came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a light dusting of powdered sugar. The Christmas pudding also delicious and definitely tastes homemade in-house. Sorry no picture of this. I will definitely love to visit again!

Great service, amazing menu selection and outstanding food and reasonably priced too.. only downside, and I would have given a 5 star, was that we were seated by the entrance, with a stream of customers coming and going all night it meant we were hit by -3 degree temperatures and were very cold. Perhaps best to move the tables away from the front door... Otherwise highly recommended.

A mixed review really.. The restaurant inside is stunning! Nice decor along with nice ambiance. Food was poor. Lack of flavour throughout both main dishes that me and my fiancée ordered. I ordered the spaghetti carbonara, I was expecting an authentic carbonara, but didn’t receive that. An authentic carbonara is made with Guanciale (this is like a panchetta) and not pieces of bacon! also it is forbidden to use cream in a carbonara this was made with cream! The whole dish just tasted like spaghetti coated in hot cream. It lack seasoning as a whole , it was tasteless! I expect better from an Italian restaurant run by Italian people. My girlfriends seafood linguine was tasteless, no seasoning at all , it seemed like it just needed salt chucked at it to give it some lift. Like I said , stunning restaurant. The food is presented well but taste and seasoning very poor..
