Chips were ok, I've had worse. Roe was very nice. I had a job to see price list. Not a lot of info. A smile & nice welcome wouldn't go a miss. ☹️

Chips were very undercooked and it’s extremely greasy. And missing a hot sauce!

Dinner meat & chips absolute swimming in fat, all over the kitchen side & table,tray it come in looked like a chip pan there was that much fat/oil

Kebabs are amazing ,hubby had fish and chips and said really good

Over priced rubbish food nearly £10 for a mixed meat and chips that is probably the worse iv had the prices are ridiculous for the quality of food mixed meat and chips should be no more then a fiver and that's if it was good quality

We popped in myself and my mother and what a lovely man that chatted to us whilst we waited for fish and chips about park homes we were looking at and omg the fish was much bigger than the fish in bham you get.. Thankyou so much

good portion of chips for large.. but charging 50p for each sauce is crazy imo

the pastry on both pies was hard and the fillings were all dry as it had been on warm for a length of time causing it to dry out. food also came cold

Don't know if it was the time of day but very disappointed and wasted £20 food was cold and my fish was mostly batter and what fish there was was dry and hard and inedible. The donner meat n chips was freezing cold also.

The food from this place is vile, chips soggy and limp, the mini fish was sweaty, limp and spongy, not crispy at all, what an absolute waste of money.

One of the mini fish the batter was anemic, completely spongy not crispy at all, I struggled to pick it up and put it in the air fryer to try and salvage my dinner, but the inside was still spongy, so didn't finish it. Defeats the object of getting a takeaway when you have to finish cooking it yourself. Don't use plastic bags, makes the food sweat, but on this occasion my didn't seem to be fried properly as my daughters was alright.

Ordered on just eat, delivery driver wouldn’t hand over the food as I couldn’t get up the just eat code. Even tho I showed him the order and receipt. No food and out of pocket, DO NOT ORDER!!! Where’s my money!

I am very disappointed with the service they provide and also about the information of the food they serve. I asked for a chicken kebab, and he told me there is one of £8 and one of £6. I chose the £6 one, I told him to put just chicken, but I didn't want any chips and salada. When I was going to pay, he told me it was £7 because I asked without chips. Why did he haven't told when I told him that I didn't want the chips. I paid, but I would not come and recommend at all.

Very rarely have fish and chips, but really felt like it tonight-and it’s the first time we’ve ordered from Amington Fish Bar, and the quality was excellent! Would definitely order again - the fish was spot on ☺️

The fish has made me bad it was saturated in oil so much so I used quite a bit of tissue paper to get most of and still was saturated made me bad today will not be ordering again

These are substandard. Ordered in store many times and 2 large chips split between 5 is ample. First time for delivery order and received barely more than a cone. Not acceptable at all.

All's they needs to do is cook the battered sausage more as you can still taste the batter

Just moved to Amingtom , disgusting food. I asked for a special for sausage and chips and he gave me a sausage and chips that wasn’t a special which cost £1 more. The battered sauague and chips was undercooked and tastless . My partner had chicken and chips , the chicken kebab wasn’t seasoned. The worst chippy I have ever been too .The atmosphere was not right for a chippy with oloud music on. Felt like I was in a run down club that was offering cheap food but the food was a lot for what it is. Wont be going back .

Good food hot and delivered in good time

Good turned up nice and hot, friendly delivery driver only issue was we ordered a chicken dinner burger and got a chicken fillet burger but no a real issue

haddock was cooked to perfection was really nice with my salad I'd prepared 😋

Food was really nice, surprised the driver took as long as he did to get to me though. (It took him longer to drive to me than it would've been for me to walk myself)

the pies were dry and over cooked, unusual as we've used these several times. a late order should not warrant sub standard food,the quality should remain the same throughout the day. disappointed this time

Busy day, thought I’d treat myself to fish and chips. Ordered a MINI fish, a CONE of chips and a chicken and mushroom pie. £11.50. I asked if the price was right, the server checked and he said it was right. Manager came out and said “don’t tease us, this is the price” Got home, fish wasn’t cod, and been reheated, some of the chips were ok, but at least 50% had been reheated. Disgusting food and disgusting service. DO NOT EAT HERE, unless you’re very rich and starving hungry.

Honestly quantity of food was no where near for the price . Kebabs came with no option for salad or sauce on app so came just meat and pitta very greasy.

another order from here and was'nt dissapointed at all. beautifull food chips were soft and cooked to perfection. everything else fish cakes , battered sausages and a pie were lovely as well. A visit or order from here is value for money.

Always enjoy the food from here, my son won't have a chippy tea from anywhere else! I'd really enjoyed the battered chips as they are standard from where I grew up so was sorry to hear they are off the menu due to bad reviews. Please bring them back as we loved them!

Pie and chips. Pies were national so can't easily be spoilt but battered chips were... Who had the idea of battering chips? Half went in the bin.

Worst fish and chips I've ever eaten! Chips seemed like they'd been reheated, the batter on the fish was leathery and hard, probably reheated too, without any flavour and didn't taste fresh!. Asked for salt & vinegar none provided. This is our most local chippy but never again!

Chips were a strange bright orange tasted like they were overcooked, very chewy!!! Curry sauce was lovely and pie was ok

Used to like this chippy but since we have last been there a few years ago it has been taken over and it is not as good as it was. The chips are weird and have a hint of a batter coating,mushy peas seem runny,my husband enjoyed his kebab but was also really over priced and generally disappointed with my food 😕

The wrap I had was in total mess, when asked to wrap it properly for me the reply was "Its already wrapped, I am not taking it out" in a rude way. Isn't it a part of their job to make the customers happy and make sure they will be back ? On the top of that my wrap was with a little bit of salad and cucumber only and the drop of garlic mayo. Not nice food and rude staff, too expensive also for the food that I had. My first ever experience in this place and I already regret it.

Excellent chicken pieces,chips chilli sauce. Also 3 other different dishes, all 5 stars !!!

It's a good fast food solution. Fish we ordered was made as we waited so pretty fresh. It took a while but it is worth for the freshness. Curry sauce was also very nice. We bought 1 large chips for the 6 of us and it was more than enough. Overall a good place. Only 3 stars for atmosphere as it is literally order and pickup place.

Service is slow and I'm really disappointed with the food the chicken is like jelly with chewy bits. Very greasy chips making them very soggy

So expensive for the portion sizes! £2.50 for a single scollup burger with sauce. Used to be £1 when dip ran it!

Nephew got the take away while I parked my motor safely, didn't realise there was a car park behind the shop. Anyway I was happy with the takeaway meal, I enjoyed it

Just had the worst fish & chips ever from this place. The fish tasted awful, batter to thick, meal in total Luke warm. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Being kind giving it a one star

25 minute wait for fish and chips twice on a traditional fish and chip (Friday) night when not very busy is completely unacceptable. Fast food it isn’t. Maybe under new management, but no organisation, completely inept with owners who don’t look like they’ve ever run anything before, very poor and won’t be using again.

Horrible experience ... I was short changed £4.50 and never received kebab and chips untill complained and went back and been over charged a few times before also The chips were mixed fresh and old will never go back there again

This place is good, but was not happy with the quality of the food I was given in my last order! So don't think I will be going back will be trying the other one on the glascote Road near the garage for a change 🤔

What sort of chippy doesnt do a proper chicken fillet burger an puts a slice of fake cheese on it its not the best chip shop in tamworth i have been to better ones

The owners were so friendly, the food was fresh and the portion sizes are very generous.

Dibs (the owner) is an absolute unit. Like many fish bars, this one receives overwhelming and deserved business from the chippy-goers of Amington. When Dibs had sold out of chips, he gave me scallops on a discount, more than making up for it. If you prioritise customer service, this is the chippy for you.
