Amigos in Leeds

We celebrated our grandsons 9th birthday at DA and it was superb. Looks very unassuming from the outside but once you enter it is pure España. We ordered various breads to to get us going whilst we awaited our tapas. We did order around 16 dishes between us and all were absolutely delicious so full credit to the chef 👏👏 Our waiter was spot on and looked after us very well. No negatives at all and hence no hesitation in recommending.

Really wanted to like it here, it's near home and we love tapas. It's quite charming inside too. Unfortunately we ordered 7 tapas between 2 of us (other half has a big appetite!) the garlic chilli prawns were a good size and tasty, but other than that it was below average.. Especially the calamari, this should be a staple in most tapas venues but it was hugely over battered, like cheap onion rings. The patatas bravas had crispy potatoes but the sauce was very bland. Need to really up their game to stand out against other local restaurants.

Food was beautiful! Delivered on time. Fresh, piping hot and very nice. I ordered the chicken, prawns, potatoes, salad and bread :) portions were more than enough. Definitely recommend this place and will be returning!

Regular dine-in customer of this amazing little gem. Currently isolating so decided to give take-away service a go. Was not disappointed. Delivery driver was polite and friendly. Food was of same high quality as restaurant, only thing missing was amazing ambience of the place when eating in. Will definitely order online again if I can't make it down there again soon. We love this place and both eat here and get takeaways regularly. Always wonderful, I very much recommend you try the sangria too.

Still no gluten free bread after months of trading again following reopening, we were told in August that "our baker can't get the flour so we're looking for another supplier" and then last week we were given exactly the same words. There's no excuse for not being able to find a good gf loaf in Leeds. Menus are like cheap takeaway menus with things scribbled out in pen and again we were told that the steamer isn't working so no cappuccino. These excuses are ok once but when you return 3 months later and they are telling you the same thing it sounds like you are being fobbed off. Please if you're going to charge quite expensive prices make the place the quality it used to be a couple of years ago...

We have been to this restaurant several times before and it’s been excellent, however on our last visit my partner wanted to order a pizza and we were told they had no dough left so which was disappointing as that’s what we had come to the restaurant for but we thought it can’t be helped and ordered other dishes. But we saw other tables that came in after us order garlic bread, dough balls etc so we couldn’t understand how they could have that but we couldn’t have a pizza? Also the pork belly we ordered wasn’t the best. Maybe we just picked a bad night.

Despite being a group of ten our food arrived promptly and was delicious all round. The belly pork was especially good, as was the salted caramel ice cream cheesecake.

Excellent tapas. Took us back to being in Spain.

We were given a delivery time. Then it was changed to a later delivery time, and then delayed again. Ordered at 18:30, delivered at 20:40

Dos Amigos is always delicious, high quality and prompt. They are my go to for tapas in Leeds. Being a couple, we always get the 9 item meal deal and are always stuffed afterwards. 10/10 would order again

Really lovely food. We tried them last Friday, and ordered again today. 3 tapas each is definitely the right amount - they are big enough to share so you get to try 6 different bits of delicious. Ate outside with a glass of wine and as close to being on holiday as you can get right now. Shame they had no manchego this week, but there is always next time. Recommend the garlic prawns and aubergine parmesan.

Restaurant quality food in a takeaway. Very good value. Food served piping hot. Definitely recommend the meal deals. Can’t recommend a particular dish as all of the dishes are amazing!

Really enjoyed my tapas. Very filling too.. I had enough with 2. Prawns very large with pepper dressing. Patas Bravas good portion size and spice just right

Was delivered on time but the food isn't tapas and is way too expensive. The chorizo wasn't cooked right and was just swimming in grease, the garlic mushrooms were clearly just a pack of button mushrooms from the supermarket with some garlic on them, garlic chicken tasted frozen and the slow cooked belly pork was basically pulled pork with cheese which is wrong. Do not order from here if you want authentic tapas as you will be massively disappointed and will be gutted you spent 30 quid to eat grease.

Always superb quality food, whether take-away or restaurant. Regular place for our nights out, when Covid not intervening!

Always lovely tasty food, delivered on time

Food was excellent and good value but this is the second time we've ordered from here and both times the delivery has arrived half an hour early, while it might seem churlish to be unhappy about this we were unprepared for the food when it comes so much sooner than we've been advised.

Food was delicious, arrived when it said it would and was piping hot. Defo recommend!

Exceptional good food abs service.

I ordered my husband's birthday meal 24 hours in advance through a delivery site, although the restaurant opened at 6.30pm it wasn't until 7.45pm (15 mins before the delivery time) that they decided to cancel our order. I phoned Dos Amigos to ask why just to be told that they were 'really busy' and apparently our advance order counted for nothing. Very poor indeed. Don't rely on them for food orders.

Original estimated time was 18.55 on an order placed 17.45. Actual delivery after 20.00 - not ideal when you have 3 children who are hungry and up way past their bed time. Not even an apology when phoning to check when it'll be delivered. Food rating may not be accurate - by that stage could have eaten a horse and it would have been "alright". Don't think we'll be using them again

Was delayed a couple of time (not too much an issue) but then said is was delivered 10 minutes before it actually was

First time ordering from here- the food was beautiful and very filling. We will be visiting the restaurant when lockdown ends. Could just do with improving their communication about eta of order.

First time ordering from Dos Amigos, had to wait an hour or so to actually make an order as they were so busy, but the wait was worth it and the food was amazing. The food was delivered about 20mins late, partly because the driver couldn’t find our address which can’t be helped, so it was luke warm but nothing that couldn’t be fixed with 3 mins in the oven.

LOVE dos amigos, amazing food, recommend everyone give it a go if they are considering something different to the usual takeaways.

Delivery was late,. We did get an updated delivery time as they were very busy, but delivery was still 20 mins after that. However, we do live quite a distance from the restaurant and it was a Saturday evening, Food was very good and we will definitely be ordering again.

First time ordering and the tapas was delicious and cooked to perfection. The only thing is that I don’t think the calamari travels very well - was tasty but a little soggy - I know it would not have been cooked like that, as it should be served straight to plate.

Although the food was early, I didn't feel like we got value for money. Only 4 meatballs, 4 prawns and the dough balls weren't great. Eaten in the restaurant a few times and absolutely loved it but the takeaway was disappointing!

Didn’t enjoy I ordered six tapas and everyone was cold very disappointing as this restaurant was highly recommended by my son .Not cheap either but for a special occasion I payed the money and didn’t mind as I expected quality. The fish coujons were soggy just awful

Absolutely gorgeous food. It was so warm when it arrived & the taste was a sensation.

Blimey, I’ve missed this place! We used to order from here frequently a couple of years ago but the delivery area changed and we ended up outside it. On my birthday weekend we took the chance we might be able to order again and felt like we won the lottery then our order was accepted! I’d recommend the tapas to anyone, loads of choice and loads of variety (go nuts and get the 9 tapas special). The real standout for me is the Gamberoni Pil Pil, a plump king prawns in chilli and garlic (the chicken version is great too!). As an add on, get the dough balls with garlic mayo....oh, and the pizzas are amazing too! Thank you for delivering to us again, we’ll be back...soon! As superb as the food is though, delivery was very early. It arrived at 6:25pm when we ordered for 7:00pm (who would expect customers to be out of the house in lockdown!?! ;-) ). We’ll forgive that though, especially as your delivery driver stayed with the food for the five mins it took for us to get back to the house. Thank you for having us back!

Yeah, it's a bit more expensive than your normal Saturday night takeaway but you're getting restaurant quality food. And it was delicious. Paella, garlic bread, three tapas dishes and fries. More than enough for two. Washed it down with our own wine and had the night out, at home. Recommended.

The food was top notch as always. Small gripe they forgot the chilli dip with the Mozzarella Sticks. We still enjoyed the food though, great little restaurant.
