We had the pleasure of Oliver serve us, and he was exceptional not only with us but with all the other customers, all the staff were fantastic from the greeter at the door to the bar staff on leaving. They had a problem with one couple who had a young child who said food wasn’t up to standard, they never even tried the food the baby was far to young to eat the food they ordered and we heard them say they were going to try to get away without paying 😡, the staff were very professional but a shame they had to put up with this. The only gripe was the toilets that needed checking, but in saying that it’s the public who are at wrong in not using facilities as if they were at home.

We went to this Harvester for lunch today and unfortunately feel we need to make the following observations. Though the staff were NOT rude or unpleasant in anyway, we did feel that they were not very welcoming or hospitable. This made us feel uneasy and unwelcome during our visit. The major issue appears to be the fact that we were obliged to order a full main course meal (Costing £22 each) rather than selecting a combination of side orders that would have allowed us to order a meal at the size we required. In effect, this would have resulted in our ordering a much larger meal than we wanted for lunch, just to waste half of it (what happened to people avoiding over eating and potential obesity!).You can only order a side order, if you purchase a main meal first, which defeats the object. As a result we were forced to order a single main course meal to share between two, which as you can imagen did not sit well with the staff, as they haven't foreseen this course of action. The waitress made a sarcastic comment to remind us that only one free salad would be forthcoming, something we really did not need to be reminded of. Unfortunately, as regular customers to Harvester Restaurants, we may now need to seriously reconsider our future patronage. This is not to mention the issue over gluten free menu information, and being told that the waitress is a soul fountain of all knowledge in regards to what does and does not contain gluten in their menu. Sorry if I do not wholeheartedly put my faith and digestive health in the hands of a potentially unqualified individual. This may sound harsh, but it is an accurate reflexion of our experience today. On a final note, we all agree that the food itself was excellent and very enjoyable. If it was not for the issues highlighted above, our experience today would have been very different.

We stopped here on a long journey home for some dinner, as we walked through the doors we were immediately greeted with smiles and a great atmosphere. Our server Lyla she was lovely!! She was very friendly and had a warm welcoming. Her customer service is amazing considering it was a busy bank holiday Monday! She really knows how to put a big smile on your face. The food was amazing! Perfect temperature quick and speedy and perfect portion size. Thankyou harvester (especially Lyla) for making our experience well worth it and especially great customer connection. :)))

Callum our server was very polite and attentive. We had the classic breakfast which was one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. Nice presentation and very tasty. The establishment is clean and the decor looks really nice 👌. Would definitely eat here again.

Appetisers took 25 minutes for 1 natcho set plate, took 2 hours for 3 sets of food to come out and they are all over cooked so they had no moisture. Service amazing except that they charged us for stuff we didn't ask for or get like coffee and 5 all you can eat vegetable bowls.

Love this place, friendly excellent value

Visited here tonight for a catch-up with friends, couldn't fault the food, was very nice. More importantly, the service was fantastic, I came with a 6 month old baby, and outings are still daunting! I didn't catch her name, but I believe it was the manager who was extremely accomdating and helpful. Making sure we had enough room around our table, and also carrying hot water to the table to I could make babys bottle and not carry the water with her in my arms. Things like this go a long way, especially for new, nervous parents! Sending a massive personal thank you.

Oliver was really nice and treated us very kindly. Overheard the table next to us complaining about their food and he dealt with the situation well. 10/10 service, great waiter!!

Food was great and came out pretty quickly. Our server, Yana, was very friendly and helpful. We've been coming here consistently for a few years and they rarely disappoint. The only issue we encountered was applying a Blue Light discount which seems to be an error in their system.

Had a nice evening meal catching up with a friend. Our waitress was Lyla, who was very helpful and friendly, and provided a very good service. Tried the new peri peri crave which was nice but a bit underwhelming but my friend had the skewers which was very nice. Pud was delicious too.

Had a lovely lunchtime meal today, good service from Oliver and the team, would come again.

Meat was like rubber told them and they suggested i take it home for my dog and charged us £11 for it lmfao not rushing back there i can tell ya.

Really pleased to have eaten here. We are in the road and working and needed "real" fresh food. A massive positive surprise and very grateful. This place has improved. It was actually pretty good. I was pleasantly surprised. We went as a large family group with children. The selection of food has something for everyone. I liked the atmosphere. It was busy. The servers were friendly and helpful. Great for groups.

It was a busy restaurant but the food was, as usual, good quality and the service, by a very busy waitress called Leah, was exceptionally good. She was friendly, helpful and cheerful, despite a very long shift and covering a large area of the restaurant.

Needed a bite to eat on the way home and this was a stop about half way. It was a Monday and being half term they were crazily busy so service was a little slow but staff apologetic and food was good.

Had a lovely early evening dinner with my wife. Food was very good. Our waiter Oliver was excellent, very friendly & attentive. Reasonably good value.

We had a lovely relaxed meal that was absolutely delicious, please pass on our thanks and compliments on to the chef. We were served by a very polite attentive young man named Oliver who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed whilst giving us the respectful space to allow us to eat our meal in peace. He has the balance totally spot on! It was a very pleasant dining experience and we look forward to coming back in the future.

Pallid, lukewarm, “grilled” halloumi made me want to throw up and both the bread and chips looked like they’d been warmed by an LED for 2 minutes. Honestly one of the worst things I’ve ever been served. To top it off, everything would be massively overpriced even if the food hadn’t apparently been cooked by Chat GPT

Jake was our server this evening, great service, checked we were okay and that we had everything we needed. Offered different menu items and was really polite! Food was amazing and we sat at a lovely table!

A busy night, but staff were friendly and the salad bar was full. Jake was really attentive

I got food poisoning which was likely from the potato salad or sweetcorn/beetroot at the salad bar as only thing different I ate. Cleanliness of salad bar at time of visit was poor, food scattered, trays almost empty. Cabbage of the coleslaw was brown so avoided this. Children running about and screaming and accessing the salad bar unaccompanied, eating whilst filling their bowls. Sat for 15/20 minutes with no offer of drinks. Chicken was dry and not very tasty.

Excellent service by Jake, friendly, listened to all our particular requirements and suggested a good Merlo wine. Big tables and tables not too close together so feels your not on top of each other. Decor great , clean and good atmosphere. Food was hot and very well presented on the plate. . A very good first time experience, Well done Jake who made it even better, thank you .
