Our server Oliver went above and beyond and was so polite and welcoming. Nothing was too much of a bother. Great service with a smile at all times. Thank you for a lovely lunch service, we’ll be back.

The food was stone cold on both mine and my husband's plates. My husband's haddock was still frozen in the middle! Not a long wait for the food but it was inedible.

Had a kitchen food label in the middle of my burger… alerted the waitress straight away to let her know. Had no offer of any discount towards the bill but more than that, zero apology from the manager. They had a good little chat about it by the till though… appalling service.

Was told bookings only. Booked online for later, was then turned away even though we had a booking. Will never return.

Booked for boxing day. Jake was our waiters, he is great. Always check on us no matter how busy its get. Food was delicious. Me, my hubby and 2 kids enjoy it very much from salad, main and dessert. Well done harvester amesbury team

Shouldn’t take half hour to put ice cream in a cup. Jake served me and was outrageously rude and useless. Made a narcy comment about what I was wearing. Gave me the wrong desert also and said I was wrong about what I ordered.

Very busy but were very happy to help us (didn't have a reservation). Manger got us in and seated - waiting staff were clearly busy but super helpful and friendly. I hope everyone was kind to them - it was the Saturday before Christmas!!

Very expensive for the quality and quantity of food. And the service was exstramly slow. If it wasn't for the fact I got food poisoning from eating here (this was the only thing I had eaten that day and the sickness started 3h after eating) i would I've it 2 or 3 stars due to the frendly if slow service.

NIKE was,very friendly and professional. Food and service was excellent as usual.

Portion sizes seem to of shrunk, think more a general thing not specific to this venue. Food was hot and good.

Stopped on the way to Somerset. First time at this Harvester. Lovely atmosphere and decor. Super nice staff.

We are regulars here, tonight we had Lyla as our waitress. She was so lovely polite and so smiley. It was obvious she really enjoys her work there at the Harvester as it showed. Thank you Lyla your a great asset to the Harvester Amesbury xx

The food was hot and plentiful. I couldn't eat all mine. But the rest of the table appreciated it lol. I then shared an ice cream with my other half. Very nice. The grandchildren loved it aswell.

Lovey afternoon, loved the make your own ice cream platter my grandson ordered. What a great idea. Service and meal was really good , staff were chatty and friendly which always makes such a difference.

Management was very rude while’s we was in the restaurant this evening won’t be going back again and would recommend amesbury harvester

Had the Christmas meal, not enough gravy, asked for more and the smallest pot turned up, OMG

Awful meal had mixed grill overpriced chips cold. Had tasteless salad to start . Not recommended had to ask for salad bowls as staff to busy talking about decorating uprated.customers not served or bothered with.

Lovely full English breakfast, great service & reasonably priced.

Lovely little daddy daughter lunch/diner with my eldest daughter... we love it there, with the salad bar and the menu options. It's ideal for family time eating out.

Fabulous friendly staff, great service, very dog friendly which deserves an extra star for us. Early breakfast on the up journey and dinner on the way home.

This place is really good. Really enjoy my lunch here and the servers are great and friendly. Salad bar was amazing and fresh. Definitely coming back when I'm in the area.

The food is very good value for money, however the newly refurbished Amebury Archer is not quiet as welcoming as the Harvester that we are used too, they have tried to vary the seating areas and we found that some of the areas had been stripped back to the effect of a school dining hall, laminated floor, plain table and chairs hardly an area where we would like to spend in addition of an hour to eat a three course meal. We are local to the area and now book ahead of our visits to ensure we get a table in our preferred area, which is quiet with soft seating.. more intimate perhaps.

Our waitress Jo was incredibly friendly and gave us very good advice. The food was fantastic. The price is also completely reasonable. It also has many vegetarian options. Many many thanks

Decided to go out for lunch, great service from Kali, she was very polite and had a sense of humour, although they were very busy, she made sure that we had everything we needed. Food was very nice and portion sizes were good, would definitely recommend and will be back 👍😃

We stopped off on the way from Exeter to London. The food was amazing, staff were lovely. Couldn't fault it. The girls were putting up the Christmas Tree so we helped them with the baubles. We had a laugh and so did they.

After the refurbishment it felt refreshed and calm. Lyla's customer service was amazing and we will defo be back Thanks lyla.

Chicken texture was very much as though it had been waterblown. Chip were warm, not hot. Too many unruly children.

We Had a lovely breakfast here. The staff (Jo) was so kind and attentive best service I have seen from anywhere in a long time so massive thank you to Jo you really did make the visit.

Came here with my family (4 of us) had a really good time, atmosphere is nice. Food was hot and timely, probably the best harvester I’ve ever been too. Would recommend this branch

Had a lovely fee hours eating. Amy T looked after us really well and has a lovely atmosphere after the redecorating.

First time back after the refurb and wasn’t disappointed. The decor is much better and the food delicious (highly recommend the tempura prawns and chilli donuts). Fabulous service by Leah W, friendly and professional.

Went to visit and had tables reserved for 2 family, 7 of us in total. I was surprised that we were denied discounts despite having both bluelight and unidays code as they have the up to 6 max guest per order. Ask if we could split the bill (made sense to split between the 2 family) but the waitress said no and has to be paid in full. Just a shame though. So for anyone going in groups more than 6, specially who works in the healthcare industry, military or any public servant with bluelight cards who works tirelessly and want to enjoy your meals and not be disappointed like we did, just book tables for up to 6. Cheers :)

Great food, especially the Rotisserie chicken, and excellent value. Very friendly and helpful staff, thanks to Amy T for looking after us so well and arranging a taxi for us back to our hotel.

Kali was great and we enjoyed her recommendation of the cheese and jalapeño donuts. Food was filling and did the job.

Leah W was our waitress and she was lovely. I think she was amazing.

I had the bbq ribs! The meat just fell off the bone! Was succulent and melt in the mouth. Plenty of flavour 😋

All good except a requested 'blue steak' came 'medium rare' not good.

Gone down hill over the years.limited choice in saland bar.bread rolls stale. And main meal disappointing.The company needs to do a mystery shop.

Went on the 17th of September 2024 for a catch-up with some old school friends I have a food allergy which I let the staff know as I arrived I must say Rebecca on the bar went above and beyond to show me the options of the menu to help me decide what to have based on their allergy information She really is a credit to the team at Amesbury Harvester and her general customer service is great as well we will definitely be back

Really nice restaurant, situated on a services but don't let that put you off it is excellent, nice bar and outdoor area, and a spacious restaurant, advise booking as it seems to get quite busy( online is the easiest) ample parking, awesome staff, I recommend the rotisserie chicken OMG round of applause to the chef amazing

Disappointing breakfast, rock hard poached eggs and half cooked toast. Great location though! Staff were helpful too. I'm sure it was a blip and evening meals are great value.

Didn't have food left even though it was booked so wasted a journey and now have to wait up to 14 days for a refund of the money!

Breakfast is the only meal I find thats tasty from here.

We have not been to a Harvester for probably a decade. We were served quickly and the standard of food was excellent, we were visiting family and had two toddlers and the high chairs were clean and supplied with ease. Very impressed. Easy to park and very relaxed.

Went for full cooked breakfast, very nice. Poached eggs were under done and would not swap out items, would only remove or charge more for alternative item. Ridiculous and mean.

Pip was very cheerful, attentive & helpful.

Food was good. Daniel, our server, was nice, polite and very accommodating. We did have to wait a while, but it was an oddly busy night.

It's been a long time since I last went to a Harvester. The menu seems to have lost some of its former variety such that I could not bring my youngest here now. No pasta option ☹️ My favourite red devil salad dressing was not available and the chicken in the BBQ chicken stack had a very odd texture that reminded me of Edam cheese rather than a piece of BBQ chicken. I hope this was just an anomaly as Harvester used to be one of my favourite restaurants to use when travelling.

This is our go to Harvester restaurant even though it is 30miles away from where we live. The atmosphere is alway welcoming and the staff give you the right amount of attentiveness and not hurrying you at the some time. The journey up to Amesbury via the back roads on a nice sunny day completes the experience.

Just popped in for an evening meal with the family. Very impressed with the prompt service and friendly smile to welcome us at the door. We were taken straight to a table and Leah W our waitress looked after us exceptionally well. She was very friendly and attentive and made sure none of us had allergies. The food was piping hot, very tasty and really good size portions. All in all we had a really excellent experience tonight, thank you Leah.

Stopped by this place and had something to eat whilst going to Devon. Found the food to be very nice and the service was excellent. We would recomend this place.

WOW what a gem of a place, food outstanding, staff were very friendly and very helpful, even heard our young man that was looking after us and taking our orders, explaining allergy information, as the table next to us had peanut allergy, he was very knowledgeable. I found out his name was Callum - well done Callum very impressed by this.

We were served by a great attentive young lady by the name of Isabel. In our group we had people with allergies and she made sure that they were able to eat safely. The Service was perfect and nothing was too much for Isabel. This was my first trip to Harvester and my Son, my wife and I really enjoyed it. We wish you the best Isabel in all that you do. You can meet with Jesus anywhere, just talk with him. :)

Stopped for a meal with my partner and my son on the way home from Devon. Jo made it a great visit my doing her best to make sure we had everything we needed and didn’t stop. The food was really nice too

Unfriendly staff, approximate in their explanations of dishes and not very interested in customer satisfaction. Poor quality food. Poor cleaning

We had a rump steak and mixed grill meal with chips. Drinking flat for soft drinks was recommended for us. Salad buffett was great. The waiter was very kind and looked several times for us. Nice and homely athmosphere.

We came here as Salisbury took an hour to tell us they didn’t have any food. So glad we did. The food was good Harvester food but the service was absolutely exceptional! Well done Leah W for being absolutely amazing!
