American Pizza House in Sheffield

The food came around 45 minutes late! Once arrived the kebab meat was barely cooked, cold and got put in the bin! And was also missing the side salad to come with it! Chips and curly fries was also cold! Won’t be ordering from here again!

Both pizzas where way to spicy called them and they said all of them are spicy most of them have gone in the bin

The kebabs arrived with no salad. It clearly states with salad on the website. I ordered through Just Eat. When I raised it with Just Eat they just brushed it aside. This is a breach of trading standards but if Just Eat had dealt with the issue it would not have been a problem. I have been using American Pizza House for many years and have had great service. This was just a mistake which could have been sorted easily.

DON'T ORDER. Delivery driver stole tools off of our driveway.

The go too place? Yes it truly is, we have been using American for years and it’s seen good owners and bad, the last owner was the reason we stopped ordering! But the new guys are great! Out of our last 10 orders the food has been the best we have experienced. This event the order was delivered wrong but within 10 minutes it was all fixed and tasted great! Just had the absolute worst pizza . I’ve ever had . Tom purée is not a suitable tomato base for a pizza. . It turned up late . And half the topping . Where not still on the base . Don’t do it 14 /09/24 been a few changes of management recently. I won’t be using them again .

I recently visited American pizza house and was thoroughly impressed! The pizza was delicious, with a perfectly crispy crust, generous toppings, and just the right amount of cheese. The menu offers a great variety, from classic Margherita to creative specialty pizzas. staff was friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. is a must-try for any pizza lover. Highly recommended!

Whenever I've gone here or had food delivered from here, with my wonderful fiancé, it's always been delicious and cooked to perfection. In my humble opinion, some of the people in Sheffield don't know how good they have it. Over in Barnsley, you don't get takeaway like this ... Excellent chip shops (Woodseats Fisheries) and many others. Thanks for some incredible food and wonderful memories guys!

Its okay. They are neither rude or overly friendly. (Edit: newer staff are way more friendly, making small talk and giving little treats to my disabled son 😊) Food is average, which these days means better than most as most are bad. A little expensive compared to other places but not too much. Avoid if you only have pocket change and want some chicken and chips as they don't serve fried chicken. (They do have cooked chicken, wings etc though)

Most of the food is really really food to be honest, cheesy chips oftentimes come watered down though....

Ordered at 17.05. Estimated delivery time 18.15-18.35. 18.45 food not arrived. Couldn’t get thru on the phone, saying mailbox full. Contacted thru justeat & said order still being prepped, due at 19.05. Arrived at 19.15. Chips were hard & inedible, rest lukewarm. Refused to refund me some money. Definitely won’t be ordering again!

The chicken is from this takeaway wasn't even cooked, was blood all over the bone, black and goey stuff was inside, this is the worse takeaway as I asked for refund and they refused!!

You keep changing the chicken strips and the chips, they used to be good but it's very hit and miss, weren't nice at all they were very dry and almost dusty and the chips weren't as good as usual

I order from here a lot. They're good guys, who almost always make good food. In this case, the crust was a little bit burned but overall the base and toppings were very good.

Food was late, even tho we pre ordered. Turned up an hour late with 1 meal missing (kids) so had to wait for an extra 20 minutes and only offered us free garlic bread

Ordered from here many times before and always gone back! However, on this occasion we waited over an hour for our food to arrive. When it arrived my wrap contained chicken and nothing else, no salad, no chips, no drink. The menu via Just Eat states that “all our wraps come served with fresh salad, chips, a soft drink and sauces of your choice”. I called them to check whether this was correct, apparently this rule doesn’t apply to all wraps. The phone was then put down on me, with no apology. I would suggest you change the wording of “all wraps” to ‘some’ if you’re no longer going to serve all of your wraps with what is stated. Sadly, I won’t be ordering again.

Waited an hour and a half for this, driver sat in car outside with food, tried ringing to say he was here and he drove off and walked back up road. Rang up to complain that the food was cold and they just said “yes it’s raining outside” poor service poor driver poor food do not order from here

Their new delivery driver is fast and funny and the staff in shop and nice and friendly not to mention the food is top notch

After the change of ownership in recent months American Pizza House has improved massively! One of my favourite places at the moment and the prices are great.

Food was an hour late, when our kebabs arrived they were dry and burnt. Chips were dry and cold. Awful. Never again.

The food was ordered at 6.15pm and arrived at 8.30! Yep 2 hours and 15 minutes to cook a couple of burgers and a pizza. Got to be the best tasting food right? Wrong! The pizza was under cooked and inedible, the garlic bread look anaemic and you forgot the cheese, the chips, nope cold. Another £30 wasted. When I called to ask how much longer the food would be I just got excuses with no apology. Finally the poor drivers are the ones that have to apologise!

The app said 45 mins for delivery, after I pressed buy it changed to 75 mins , at 75 mins I got a message saying further delay… ended up being 120 mins from order 😡. The pizzas and Garlic bread were great, the chips and onion rings were NOT…

Ordered from here for years but recently gone extremely downhill. Last 3 orders have been late, no help when contacting them, requested delivery fees refunded & always denied. Excuse today was "bad weather"... its a bit of rain? Food is good quality however is cold & sweaty like it's just been sat. Shame but will have to start going elsewhere.

How do you get it so badly wrong? It must have taken years of training to achieve this level of destroying food Where to start? The chips or should I say the burnt, over cooked, dry sticks that you sent me that have been clearly cooked on multiple occasions to enable you to achieve this leave of bad. The burger patty looked and tasted like it had just been cremated next to my Nan before deciding to serve it, The pizza was in a crushed box and stuck to the lid so completely destroyed, Not fit to fill my bin. £25 later and left wondering what has just happened to the takeaway I have used 4 times a week for the last 25 years……. Come back Hamid!!!

of the several times I have ordered from them I have only ever had one issue of a slightly mixed up order.. they rectified that with two new pizzas free of charge.. Each time I have ordered it's been fast delicious and the driver is 100% courteous.. after 10 years I wouldn't consider ordering from anywhere else. The price is reasonable and the quality excellent.
