American Pizza House in Epsom and Ewell

We have ordered a delivery from this restaurant twice so cannot comment fairly on the restaurant atmosphere. The food is great but both deliveries have been way over the expected delivery time of 1 hour. Its a shame as we like the food but when ordering the latest delivery, I even asked if the stated 1 hr delivery slot was likely to be exceeded and I was told 'no'. We will not be using them again as I feel they knew if the real time was stated at the outset, we probably wouldn't have agreed, so I feel a bit cheated! To be totally fair to them, the did ring us to inform us the delivery will be late, but at the time they had decided to ring it was already late, so even more annoying as too late to reorder from somewhere else 😞.

This is the first time I have been here the service was very good the food that I ordered was good and the atmosphere/takeaway was very busy I will go back again.

Ordered tonight and very disappointed Batter for chicken balls was rock solid Chicken wings and the rice tasted like they had been reheated Duck was just crispy no soft meat Always order from here but very unhappy with order today

This is my go to epsom chinese takeaway. Fast and delicious. Staff always friendly. Don't let the tired exterior or website fool you, the kitchen is the star of the show. Clean and reliable with a good menu.

Waited over 2 hours for our order which we were told would be 30 mins When we phoned to ask where our order was Was told on phone we are Bizzy Then just hung up Phoned again to say we were told 30 mins The woman on the phone said it would be another 30- 45 mins Dot think this kind of customer service is acceptable Specially on a order for over £80

Always order food from them since it is my all time favourite Chinese food take away in Epsom! Food is very delicious and there is always generous amount of meat/seafood in dishes and overall the taste is balanced very well. Plus customer service is really good since everyone working there is always really nice. Undoubtedly will give them well deserved 5 stars!

Waste of £33 nice Christmas Eve dinner, apart from the food being cold when it left the takeaway. Can tell it was cooked earlier and reheated on the night. Won’t return used to be great now it’s no better than a supermarket ready meal at ten times the cost

Tried Mei House as our takeaway for the first time last night. It was amazing, food was with us within 30 minutes and I have never tasted anything so good. Amazing food and this will be our number one takeaway going forward.

Poor quality Pizza. Order deep pan and get thin. Pizza is burnt. Not enough toppings, Bad service. Extra hidden charges. Prices have increased and now charge for dips without notification that we’re free previously. Not abiding by government guidelines for COVID-19. No masks or gloves worn. Pizza left to get cold. Rude and unhelpful staff. No regard to customer satisfaction. The shop looks dirty and unhygienic. Zero stars is what I wanted to give but sadly one star is the lowest. Very disappointed.

Honestly, this has got to be THE ABSOLUTE BEST Chinese take away this side of China. The staff are amazing, so efficient and friendly. And the food, OMG it is fantastic, really.

The bill came to over £30 and I was told I had to pay cash only to the delivery driver. I won’t be using this Chinese again. The quality of the food is the same as all other Chinese locally. Food took 45 mins to arrive on a fri night. Bye bye.

food was at my door 10mins after ordering and it was still cold chicken curry sauce was water and oil could not pour it on my food cos it was so runny the chicken was undercooked again the ribs taste like sweat this place has really gone down hill wish I could find just one chinese takeaway with good food consistently

Very good quality, serving your standard Chinese takeaway menu. Service is always quick. I've always ordered to collect and on average would only need 10 minutes for the order to be ready, even on busy times! Would recommend.

Excellent pizza, delivered early and piping hot. I have never ordered from this business before, but gave them a try because of this app, and their proximity to where I live. I'll definitely order from them again in the future, their pizza is great value and delicious.

The food was cold and not of good quality at all . Also had to come out of the house to a main road as driver couldn't find door.

The food was sub par, to greasy, the bacon wasn’t pork, the burgers were cheap, well over priced

Understandable that the pizza took a bit longer as it was the first order of the day, but one of the bottles of drink was missing and the food was all lukewarm. Sadly disappointed.

Horrible food. Very dry and ropey, no taste to the pizza at all very doughy furthermore the chicken nuggets tasted and felt like the packaging the were wrapped in, cardboard. Wouldn't order agian. Service and delivery time was good only upside to a downfall meal.

the food was really lovely and so was the person on the phone however i was really disappointed with the delivery time... i understand it was a late delivery but it was over 40 minutes late - it said it would be 10 minutes late and I was fine with that but then it hadn't arrived for an extra half an hour :(

Not sure why this place has good rating. The chips taste like cardboard. The onion rings are soggy and gross. The burger is the frozen flavor less burger patty you get in many sub par places. The bun was soggy and floppy. The pizza was at least edible. But any other pizza place would be better.

Delivery was late and driver tried to make us go out to his car to collect the food. The whole point of ordering a takeaway is that it's delivered straight to your door. Awful customer service. Food was also cold so didn't eat much of it. Chicken wrap lacked the chicken and was soggy. Definitely won't order again.

Food was tasty as ever, delivered on time, good customer service via telephone, however, 'salad' in the burgers was very poor, 1 slice tomato, 1 slice of cucumber, nothing more, nothing less, no lettuce, no onion. Very poor show on the salad front.

A little late as per usual, but the quality of the pizza more than makes up for that.

'Cheesy' chips were practically cold when arrived, with the cheese stick to the lid more than the actual chips. Was also given tango rather than Fanta. Not too impressed, i would have expected to be informed of any changes... Burger and wrap was good nonetheless.

Easily the best Chinese take away around. We've been going there regularly for years, never had a problem with them except once one dish was wrong order due to them being so busy. But we took it back and they exchanged no problem.

Pizza was ok but the garlic bread did not taste like garlic

Food was alright. Some was burnt, pizza had meat in when it wasn't specified.

Wasn't a fan of the pepperoni pizza having both mushrooms and onions. Left off my drink order too. Garlic bread was soggy and not flavourful. Added 15 minutes to my delivery time, and I don't usually mind being kept waiting a little while, I know things can get busy, but to wait an hour for food that frankly wasn't great I was disappointed with.

Cheese and bacon burger was really good, curly fries also nice. Order arrived 15 minutes early, very pleased!

Really disappointed. Specifically ordered a hamburger with no cheese due to allergies but when our order arrived the burger was smothered in processed cheese so couldn't be eaten. Also the dipping sauce ordered with the chicken pieces didn't arrive.

we order from them often. food is tasty and delivery is quick. they forgot our chips but when I called they apologised and sent it quickly to us with a complimentary cheesecake. they also text to check everything was alright with the order.
