Really lovely food, but I am sorry to say the service could do with improving. Waited over an hour and 20 minutes for our meal. Maybe if they didn't do so many takeaways they could concentrate on their restaurant customers.

Weve had plenty of takeaways from here , most have been good , but tonights was excellent. Credit where credits due This restaurant has really stepped up a mark. Good customer service and excellent food.

Visiting Broadstairs, walked past and the smell enticed us in! We walked in and we were asked abruptly if we had booked we answered no to which we were barked at “if your names not down you’re not getting in” and he promptly turned his back! Shocking customer service. We would have come back another night but no chance! These guys don’t deserve the custom!

It was my brother’s special Birthday and the staff were so very accommodating with letting us decorate the table many hours before with confetti, balloons etc. We were lucky enough to have an area to ourselves at the back of the restaurant which made it the perfect Birthday venue. The food was really good and service very quick. They brought out the Birthday cake and made such an effort to make the occasion special. Really appreciated just how lovely all the staff were. We don’t live in the area but if we did we would visit this fab Indian restaurant frequently. Thank you all for a brilliant night.

Staff were so accommodating for my sons 16th bday meal with family and friends. They made him feel so special and the food was amazing and so reasonably priced

On the plus side, my main was good, the starter also was good, however my wife’s samosas were still frozen in the middle which should tell you something? The service was biblically comical - meals being served totally out of sync with one another and after a very long wait. Had to ask twice for the frozen samosas to be taken off the bill - and after that the amount charged for was excessive I think for what we had……. Not to be repeated

Ordered a takeaway tonight. The food was ok. Prawns are Tesco type small ones which is always disappoiinting. Chicken tikka massala, not much chicken. One rice was missing but this was rectified with a refund. Would we return, probably but not probably in a rush to do so. On a positive side it is very reasonably priced and the initial service was friendly.

Very flippant attitude to customer service. Food very average, if they haven't an item or drink they simply ignore and don't offer any substitute. Nothing served together, items forgotten then brought to the table after the course has finished. Front of house man very shouty, to the point of offering somebody outside to settle a difference. You could understand if it was a sketch show! He was properly shouting at another table just serving a drinks order. Really needs an anger management course if he wishes to run a successful business. Only get one chance at a first impression, needless to say we will not be returning

Lovely meal, well cooked and very tasty. The service was friendly and quick. Will definitely return on our next jaunt to Broadstairs.

Can't believe the last few reviews! Been in USA for 6 months and was gagging for a proper curry at my local but was worried about the last reviews. No problem food and service were great. Bit suspicious about those reviews.

Service was poor, staff did not know what they were doing! I got my drink partner waited 20mins for his.. Food was bland, no flavour basically boiled! Worse curry Ive ever had.

I’d organised a reunion meal. We arrived on time. We waited for a server to come & take our drink order. After 30 mins I approached the counter, asking if someone could take our order. The white-shirted server replied, “I thought you wanted to chat & relax.” We obtained drinks & food menus. Another server took our drinks order. He couldn’t answer any question that wasn’t the name of a drink e.g. “No ice or lemon in the coke please.” We got both. “May we have water on the table.” We got nothing. I chased up the water. 1L jug appeared between 13 of us. No glasses. Another 30 mins, I requested glasses. Mr W-S put his fingers into 4 glasses & handed these to me. No more glasses appeared. Another 30 mins. I approached the counter again to request our food order be taken. Mr W-S took everyone’s starter and mains. We ordered a 2nd round of drinks. I ordered a 2nd coke. Mr W-S replied, “we don’t do drugs here, mate.” The drinks didn’t arrive until I went to the counter—again. 2 hrs & 15 mins later, 5 starters arrived. I’d ordered an onion bhaji. When I queried this Mr W-S replied that they didn’t have any. I asked why I wasn’t told this when he took the order. He replied, he’d only just found out. 3 of us got starters. Another person didn’t get a starter. She pointed out she hadn’t received her wine in the 2nd drinks order 50 mins ago. Staff appeared with 3 unordered & unwanted vegie samosas. My husband asked whether his samosa was vegetable. He didn’t receive a response from any server, despite roaring his last question. If we’d been on our own, we would have left. Another intolerable amount of time. Our mains arrived. Mr W-S advised they didn’t have one of the dishes. My husband stated he’d go into the kitchen & sort it out. Mr W-S, became confrontational, saying something along the lines of, “You want to go outside & sort this now, or come back tomorrow, mate?” I was horrified. The staff brought plates using cloths to protect their fingers. Not one of the plates was hot overall only along one one-quarter of the rim. I’d gone off food by the time it arrived. My husband was upset. I was upset. I felt I’d failed my friends providing them with a super evening. Others said the food was good. My husband stated his chicken tasted like it had been dropped in curry sauce. My son likewise. No hot wipes, until I asked for them. They were so hot noone could touch them. 10 wipes arrived for 13. The mints did arrive. The bill. Nothing arrived. I went to the counter & requested the bill, drinks, & food menus. Mr W-S charged for the Bhaji he said they didn’t have. He’d charged for the wineless lady's starter never had. He’d charged my husband for the dish he said they didn’t have. I requested he amend the bill. The drinks were lumped together as one, making it difficult to figure out. The seating positions for 2 of our party were awful. Two sat at the corners. The wineless lady ate holding her plate. I struggled with the loudness of the toilet hand-dryer on the other side of the wall. The room was unbearably hot. The window behind us couldn’t be opened. We asked if we could have the air-con on the wall put on & was advised it didn’t work. The radiator was on, we turned it off. This establishment is let down by its inadequate customer service & the lack of organisation.

Well I'm not quite sure where to start. The whole evening was shambles. Got there at 7.20 pm and ordered wine and poppadoms. Awhile later Another waiter came and took our order. Great we thought. Eat our poppadoms and then start on our mains but no, they brought our starter over before we had our poppadoms and wine. So they took our starter away brought us the wine and poppadoms and when we had finished, we had to eventually ask for our mains as I thought they had forgotten us. There was a big party in the same time as us and I could see them getting angry rightly so because they were waiting ages for there food and drinks to come out and people on other tables were getting fed up. By the time we got our food my appetite had gone completely so just left most of it. Now I wouldn't normally leave a bad review as I know it could have a bad effect on a business,but come on you must have known how busy you were and should have been fully prepared for it. If I am ever back in Broadstairs I am afraid to say I will be giving the restaurant a very wide berth.

Got to say at the outset the food is just great, but sadly that’s where the satisfaction ended. We sat down at 7pm and our food eventually arrived at 9.20, two of the starters were substituted without informing us, but we were still charged. One of the members of staff we found very confrontational toward our group, so much so we asked him to leave. We did receive an apology from the manager as we left, but by then it was to late. Now you might think that we are a bunch of young yobs, but no we are a group of friends in our 60s. I’m sure you’ll make up your own minds, but we definitely won’t be returning.

A beautiful takeaway from here this evening. Everything cooked to perfection. Very good pricing. We shall return for more lovely food.
