Amaans Morley in Leeds

Ordered at just after 9.30 pm. Took the money (£32), waited 30 mins then canceled. 3 to 5 days to get it back. It used to be a good restaurant and takeaway. Now, no idea and don't care to find out. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone again. Stay away, thought on past history give them the benefit of the doubt on the reviews, lived up to the 1 star!

Food was just inedible. Chicken that should have been lamb had a strange smell. Had no choice but to put £30 of food in the bin. Offered a free meal next time. No thanks. Unfortunately a restaurant that is a shadow of its former self.

Got some food from their last time it had all hair in it just beware

Long wait time and came cold. They sent a new order straight out though it was piping hot and delicious. I do understand lomg wait as it's a restaurant and a nice one at that.

So glad this place as reopened. The food is 5 star. The service amazing.

Waited 90 minutes for delivery and the food wasnt the best mushroom pakora was all soggy not crispy at all just tasted of old frying oil, the curries were ok tasting but arrived cold wont order again better curry houses in Morley than this one.

Where do I start!!! Disastrous from start to finish. Got there for our table booking at 8pm, the guy on reception told us to go upstairs and tried to seat is at a table that wasn't set. There was only two more tables in. Once seated no drinks order was taken, after 10 mins or so the guy that seated us came back to take our order. We got a pomadom and pickle tray. Then at about 8.30 the starters came out. Chicken tikka and chips that I had ordered as a main came out with the starters. The onion bhajis were burnt on outside but soggy in the middle, my tandoori starter was ok, and my dad's mixed kebabs wasn't the best either. No plates where given to eat the food off of and the sizzling plates weren't sizzling.Was told he was checking how long the mains wpil be but never came back to update the final straw was when the guy came up from down stairs and went into the kitchen and for the got wipes that you have once you have finished your meal. At this point we decided enough was enough as it was 8.55. the guy didn't even seem bothered. Down stairs in what i can only presume is the waiting area there was a group of lads who were staring and sniggering when we was complaining.tje staffs apprences was not the best. Me and my family have been going here as regular customers for years we have also been to branches in guisley. We also used to go regularly when they had a restaurant on Leeds road. Needless to say I will never be going back here. If I could give zero starts I would. It's a shame as it was once a really lovely place to eat.

I ordered for the first time from here today via ubereats only for my order to be cancelled. I rang to ask why it had been cancelled only to be told they didn't know and I could try re ordering if I wanted. The person I spoke to appeared quite rude and abrupt and didn't really show any care whatsoever. Needless to say I didn't order from here in the end but ended up ordering from nawaab which provided excellent customer care.

Very poor customer service. Chicken smelt and tasted like rotten fish. When I complained they offered a refund on dishes with chicken but then said they can't offer part refunds. Will not be ordering again any time soon

Only curry house I've used since lockdown. Never had a bad 1 yet. Always tasty warm and fresh when delivered.

Ordered through Uber east, absolutely ridiculous. The order was set to take 80 minutes initially and the driver left it at an incorrect address. The restaurant then attempted to argue with me telling me that the order was definitely left outside my house and that the driver knocked on the door. This didn’t happen. Took 2.5 hours for my food to actually arrive. Wouldn’t recommend...

Very poor service. Items took over 2 hours to come, was all cold when arrived. Items missing and when we rang up they said they were unable to refund us for the missing items? We were told that one of the missing items were not actually sold for take out - why is this then available to order if you don’t sell it? When rang up there was no attempt to solve the issue, we were told that it was not possible to refund us, even though we paid on card through the website. This was the first time we ordered, we got told that when we ordered again we should put in comments that we didn’t receive some items, but no written confirmation or offer of any voucher as they “can’t refund” when they don’t send items. Food was too bad but would be very reluctant to order again

Ate in yesterday, was a shame it was dead (we were the only people there). The service was nevertheless lovely. We ordered quite a lot of food and it all tasted really good for the most part! I wasn’t a fan of the naan (cheesey garlic) and my housemate didn’t particularly enjoy his meaty mumbai start platter. Curries (Veg rogan josh & chicken dopiaza) were yummy tho, as was my veggie mumbai starter platter. I definitely recommend however advise against using their car park; so tight and awkward we had to reverse all the way out!

Waited nearly 2 and a half hours (contacted the restaurant multiple times)before requesting a refund. Don't order from them.

Food was good, excellent service.

Food is very tasty and I love the chappattis. Service with a smile. Can't ask for any more.

I wouldn't be comfortable eating here primarily because everytime I'm nearby I always hear arguing outside, not a great impression of the business! walking past at 8am this morning a group of lads and a girl having a very loud discussion and some pushing around. The impression counts just as much as the the food.

Orders 630 told be and hour and half due to lockdown food arrived cold at 9 0clock 2 1/2 hours later with one meal missing phone Straight away said would be another hour for delivery ask if could be sooner as we only had 1/2 order after many phone calls food arrived at 11 .45 freezing cold !!! Total waste of £47

Lacking any authenticity. Poppadoms were soft and chewy as if they were a day old, raita was not fresh. Curry’s were very basic and nothing special. So many great places to get Indian food, this isn’t one in my opinion. Won’t order again.

Food was cold when it turned up, called to complain and told ‘what do you expect when you live so far away’ (were 5miles away). Really rude and unapologetic. If you can’t work out how to keep food warm then don’t offer a delivery service!

By far the best Indian I've had. Very reasonably priced. Won't order anywhere else now.

We have been ordering from Mumbai since they opened and previously from Amaans. Loved the food all the time. Last time we ordered it wasnt that nice, but this time it was even worse ... not edible at all £40 went to the bin...we ordered hydradabi and harry special and we got same curries... we wouldn't mind that if it was nice but it was horrible. Sorry to say, that after 8 years we will have to find another Indian restaurant.

Lovely food. Biggest, tastiest naans this side of anywhere. Friendly service. Food takes a bit of time, if you're in a big group, though, so be prepared.

Whether eating in or takeaway it’s always my choice for Indian. Some great authentic dishes, as well as the usual options. Staff always very friendly and make you feel at home. Recent refurb is s great touch as well. Will keep on going back.

I got a mince chilli masala and the mince was just full of gristle and fat and bones wouldn't feed it to my dog

Chicken tikka over cooked it was inedible no where near as good as Amaans was

I read some not so good reviews due to delivery so I decided to collect and review on the actual food (it is a restaurant afterall 🤷‍♀️) absolutely delicious I tried a number of dishes and starters the meat was tender spiced and cooked to perfection 👌 rice and naan fantastic highly recommend! Best curry in miles 😊

Went for a meal here last Sunday and I cannot warn you enough to stay away. The food was very poor quality. Starters were chewy and fatty and not much taste at all. Then the curry came and it was like a lamb stew again with chewy old fatty meat and also no taste of a curry at all. It was also quite expensive. The a few hours later it started both me and my husband had to fight for the toilet from both ends. Please do not go here
