Food was really good, the chef was friendly and accommodating. The barman and his army wearing jacket friend across his bar were pretty rude, with really bad attitudes towards foreigners. I recommend the food, but don't expect much from the judgemental barman, he is, I suppose, to only serve drinks and not to actually have much conversation with the patrons in his bar. The place is definitely worthy of a visit for the food.

Altro has the best pizza is Edinburgh. Already ordered more then 20 times and i was never dissapointed !!! I recommend this place 110%

They need to sort their webpage out. Says all pasta dishes come with garlic bread but turns out that’s not the case. So spent £20 on just pasta when if their webpage was correct I’d have spent £24 to also receive the garlic bread it says I should have…beyond disappointed. Thanks Altro Kitchen

We ordered a pizza from here for collection as it was a Sunday night and getting late… what a great choice we made! The indegredients were clearly fresh and the pizza was very tasty!!! This place is definitely worth a visit.

Our family of 6 ordered a range of things from here. Risottos, Pizzas, Bakes, and cakes. I can safely say this is my new favorite place. We have now ordered around 6/7 times with different items every time and nothing has ever been substandard! The pizzas PERFECTLY made with generous toppings, risottos PIPING hot! Such generous portions! I am not keen on chunky chips but Altro has completely changed my mind on them! literally, the only place I ever get chunky chips from, not to mention the garlic sauce... OMG! It is better than my mum's homemade one. This place isn't a treat for us anymore it is a tradition for every Friday night. Keep up the amazing work guys!!!

Popped in tonight for a pizza! What can I say! Best pizza I’ve ever had! Nice to watch the chef making it too! Can’t wait to try the other food options here! & 5 mins from my flat! x

Chicken pizza and chicken asparagus risotto were both delicious. Pizza base is thin and tasty and there was loads of chicken on it. Risotto was huge and absolutely gorgeous. Good value for money and efficient service. We'll definitely be back!

Placed my first ordered with Altro Kitchen and was positively surprised. Got myself two pizzas and risotto. Pizzas were very good but the risotto was to die for!!!! Ordered risotto with chicken and asparagus. This was probably one of the best risottos I ever had, restaurant included, and I will be making my way through other risottos on their menu! Sadly didn't think to take a picture of risotto as I ate too quickly but managed to get a pic of pizza :) Would recommend.

After my walk me and my boyfriend were starving. We popped in and were so happy with what we received! We got a pizza to share which was superb quality, along with the sauce. We also got chips which were amazing with the skin on! You hardly get these anywhere. Overall amazing quality and really speedy cooking time. Would 10/10 recommend to others.

Overall amazing Italian takeaway. Food was very good quality and barely took anytime at all, it is very good value and would highly recommend to anyone. Staff were very nice and friendly and the inside of the shop was very nice and good interior.
