Alter Ego in Leeds

Hemos estado en Alter Ego cada mes durante el último año desde que fuimos por primera vez un par de semanas antes de casarnos y nunca decepciona. La comida es deliciosa, muy bien presentada y de gran valor. Hicimos la degustación de vinos una vez, que también fue de gran valor y muy divertido. El servicio es de primera clase y toda la experiencia es relajada, de alta calidad y relajada. Cada menú es variado y diferente y te sientes como si tuvieras un verdadero sabor de Italia. ¡Magnífico!

Looking at the other reviews I must have gone on an off night as it was distinctly average. Not bad enough to complain but certainly not good enough to go again. At £38 each I expect a bit better. Service was pretty good though

Muy promedio, nada especial sobre la comida. El menú combinaba todo tipo de alimentos en conjunto (hígado de pollo y después de besugo ...) No lo recomiendo ya que en Leeds puedes encontrar otros buenos lugares italianos.

La comida estuvo grandiosa. Mi objetivo es ir todos los años durante la semana de Conciencia Celíaca, este fue mi quinto o sexto año, y la comida siempre es excelente. El personal esa muy buena combinación de amable y profesional.

My husband and I enjoyed dinner at Alter Ego on Easter Saturday and were treated to a fantastic dining experience. The staff were welcoming and knowledgeable and recommended a delicious bottle of red. In fact it was so good, we had a second! The five courses were all delicious, fusing traditional Italian cooking with modern twists that made for an exciting and delicious culinary journey. If you’re looking for Italian food with an edge, try Alter Ego. We will be bringing our friends with us next time.

I don't know - but it does! The latest culinary launch at the Salumeria is truly extraordinary. Every dish was new and amazing to look at as well as to eat. 8 courses! As always the service is outstanding. The staff are knowledgable and explain exactly what they have brought to your table and how it fits in with the rest of the menu. Alter Ego is only available on friday and saturday nights. Can't wait to go again.

The food was absolutely delicious, one of the first tasting menus where I enjoyed every course; I was adamant I wouldn't like the shellfish bisque but it was amazing! The whole menu is a treat for the tastebuds and really reasonably priced at £45 for 8 (I think) courses. We had the house white (I forget the name) which was really enjoyable. The atmosphere of the place really adds to the authenticity and really complements the menu; the walls are made up of Italian produce which is very fascinating, the restaurant is well lit with a cosy vibe without being claustrophobic. The service was extremely good, the team seemed very knowledgeable and were obviously passionate about the food which was nice. All in all a brilliant night out!
