Just had a lovely breakfast - great deal on a bagel and coffee and my partner went for the full English. My bagel was lovely with soft creamy scrambled eggs and avocado. Coffee was excellent! My partner reports that the full English was delicious too! Really nice atmosphere, super friendly staff and amazing background music. Will definitely visit again if we're in the area.

Ambiente encantador y música, pensamos que habíamos encontrado una verdadera joya, parece que los desayunos son buenos mirando las otras críticas, pero nos quedamos muy decepcionados con la comida para la noche caribeña. Esperamos tanto tiempo por nuestra comida, había dos mesas junto a la puerta ya comiendo y otra mesa de dos que recibieron su comida mientras estábamos en nuestro primer trago, así que no estaba demasiado ocupado, creo que eran un miembro del equipo que está bien, así que disfrutamos alegremente de algunas bebidas mientras esperábamos, pero fue un tiempo muy largo. Cuando llegó la comida tengo que decir que estábamos bastante sorprendidos pero con mucha hambre. El arroz y los guisantes estaban muy secos, todos los guisantes se partieron y se cocinó en exceso. El tamaño de la red era increíblemente pequeño. Mi esposo y mi amigo ordenaron el estofado de ternera y las albóndigas y cuando digo pequeño, parecía un entrante. Tenía una papa y tres piezas de carne y ni siquiera se llenaba hasta la parte superior, se sentía muy tacaño. Era pequeño pero costó 13, que es completamente caro para lo que era. Mi porción de cabra al curry era del mismo tamaño y sentí que hubiera necesitado otra pero no a esos precios! Mi otro amigo tenía el pollo Jerk que ella disfrutó. Al final de la comida, le contamos a la dueña cómo nos sentimos y ella escuchó con alegría nuestros comentarios diciendo que la gente le había dicho que las porciones eran demasiado grandes anteriormente, por lo que las redujeron. Reduzca la escala: bien, conviértalos en un motor de arranque y cargue 13 no bien, lo suficiente como para llenar a un niño, no a un adulto y mucho menos a un hombre adulto. Es una verdadera pena porque disfruté el ambiente allí. No nos preguntaron durante la comida si todo estaba bien con la comida, así que esperamos hasta el final de la comida para decir cómo nos sentimos hasta que nos dijeron que deberíamos haber dicho algo durante la comida para que pudiéramos haber sido completados. No recuerdo haber estado nunca en un restaurante y pedir más. . . . No es lo que haces. Si está sirviendo comida tan pequeña, obviamente piensa que está bien, lo que me hace cuestionar si están contentos por cobrar a la gente. Luego me dijeron: 'ok, no estás contento, déjame devolverte algo' y la señora fue a la cocina. Cuando regresó, no se volvió a mencionar que nos devolvió nada, lo único que devolvió fueron sus opiniones, no sé si diría eso y luego cambiaría de opinión, no fue sincero. Verdaderamente, nos alegramos de encontrar un restaurante local que sirva comida caribeña al que podamos acudir regularmente. Teníamos una hamburguesa y patatas fritas en el camino a casa jajaja.

Tomé el desayuno de los aliados. Les pregunté si iban a sustituir los frijoles por uno de los otros vegetales que figuran en la lista y me dijeron "no". Cuando llegó la comida estaba bien, pero las salchichas estaban muy secas, la mantequilla era sólida y la tostada era de tipo Madres Orgullo, cortada en rodajas. Mi café descafeinado solo tenía el más mínimo indicio de café. En definitiva, decepcionante. No iré allí otra vez.

desayuno vegano: aguacate (perfectamente vestido), tomate cocido, champiñones cocidos, papas fritas, espinacas marchitas - tostadas - absolutamente deliciosas y realmente nutritivas y saludables, todo regado con una taza de té encantadora. Gran servicio, buen ambiente. recomiendo a fondo

Really disappointed with our visit (or lack of) this weekend. We were greeted by a very rude member of staff who told us there was one table free but we'd have to be done in 30 mins - no problem we said as we only wanted a quick coffee and pastry. She then said that if anyone else came in and wanted 'a proper meal' we'd have give up the table! Okay - seems a bit strange seeing as there is apparently a booking on the table in 30 mins anyway - but we said okay! She then after all that asked if we'd actually mind sharing a table with someone else- NO enough is enough. Very rude way to treat people. We are new to the area and were excited to try.

Although there is lots of choice of eating places in the area we wanted to find a comfortable brunch/breakfast place near Archway station. Luckily we stumbled across Ally's Kitchen on Saturday morning when the local market stalls were being loaded up. The friendly Jan served us promptly with big steaming mugs of strong Americano coffee. My wife had a tasty breakfast of scrambled eggs, tomatoes and spinach which she rated very highly. Good background music and friendly atmosphere with many locals popping in. We met Ally the owner who has built up a good local business since 2015 surviving all the roadworks that have changed the area to a pedestrian zone. Well worth a visit

A casual yet cosy place in a central location. We were her for brunch. Catered in a limited way for gluten free eating. Could do better here. Food was well cooked and nicely presented. Reasonable value for money. If going in a group bigger than 6 you need to reserve a table. Limited seating.

Lovely place. Very friendly. Excellent service. The scrambled eggs were divine… Not overdone!. The rest of the fry up was crispy, hot, tasty, but not greasy! Highly recommended. Nice fresh orange juice too.

When I was looking for a venue for party of 12 to have lunch, I found Ally's Kitchen online. Difficult to find anywhere to eat in the area at lunchtime and to find this perfect venue was so lucky. Ally was very helpful and sent me a set menu to choose from in advance so that she could guarantee we would be fed and watered in the amount of time we had available. We were welcomed with drinks and out again without feeling rushed within the allotted time. Because the dishes were individually cooked, they arrived at different times, however, the waitresses were very patient and helpful and we all enjoyed the food and some even managed to squeeze in a dessert (of which there were quite a few delicious choices) and wine. My guests were quite taken with the venue and would happily return in the future. Thank you for having us. Tracy

After just moving into Archway, I stumbled upon this cafe and fell in love. The waiter was extremely welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. First of all the coffee is delicious and the smells from the kitchen are so inviting. My friend is vegan and and they even said with a prior phone call they could specially make vegan options. The menu is small but extremely diverse (which I love) and delicious (I went two days in a row...) and apparently changes frequently - trying out new recipes that the chefs think up! I am so glad I took my family here and had such a great time. The garden behind the cafe is beautiful too! I 100% recommend the muesli, French toast, pancakes and baked camembert! Everything was superb! Can't wait to come back and try more

everything was freshly cooked and perfectly cooked. full of flavour and fresh ingredients. good coffee, friendly service and a lovely spot, reasonably priced. we stayed at the premier inn and had our breakfast here each day, as its just next door. we liked the fact that there were such good veggie options as we were a mixed group of veggie and non veggies.

Ally's Kitchen looks fabulous and inviting from the outside, however, the staff had the attitude of simply 'bearing us' as we were clients. No advertised gluten free options ( bad for real celiacs and those on GF diets). We arrived 15 mins before lunch with children but we're told we could not order until 12pm, when we did we were not allowed to order the 'advertised' side dishes and were told we would be charged extra for those the price of a child's meal. If they are cooking breakfasts in the kitchen would it be really that bad to serve a pasta 10 mins before lunch service? Considering the place was virtually empty, and given our extensive local network of mums and children Ally's Kitchen should think bigger rather than being rather sticking doggedly to rules and being mean spirited over a couple side orders.

We had brunch on Thursday morning and we were absolutely impressed! This is the only great place in Archway to serve a deliciously cooked breakfast and great coffee, plenty of vegetarian and vegan options all super tasty. The restaurant is spotlessly clean and the owner nice and friendly. Prices are more than adequate for the great quality and we will definitely go back.

We love this little restaurant and have visited several times. There is a really nice menu with plenty for vegetarians as well as good chicken and burgers. The home made desserts are delicious. The atmosphere is relaxing and the staff pleasant and attentive. Highly recommended.

Good coffee and decor - but had a really poor brunch experience here and the staff became really unfriendly with us. All the other breakfast and brunch places around Archway are packed on a Sunday and this place was completely empty, which speaks for itself.
