If you haven't tried this authentic little gem then I suggest you get there quickly. Atmosphere, service, food and music are excellent.

Had a delivery so disappointed. Ordered2 jerk chicken boxes with rice received a leg and breast with no chicken on it. So very small portion. Jerk sauce was out of a bottle had no flavour. Rice was dry with no flavour. Coleslaw wasn’t homemade. Plantin was ok. Patty wasn’t homemade. £40 down the drain wouldn’t bother. Had so much better elsewhere.

Great food, great atmosphere, great community, great staff. We wish you were closer to our home in the north!

Great food, I had the chickpea dish with rice and peas which was so delicious, also came with a salad. Big portions for a good price. Menu was good with great veggie options available and friendly attentive staff.

Booked a table prior to attending! On arrival was shown inside to await an available table! Was shown a bench outside that was too small for four people! Another party at a table were asked to move so that we could sit on a larger table! Ordered the curried goat! Portion side was on the small side! After we ate the food and sat chatting, noticed that other people were being given larger portions of ‘meat’ on their plates! When the bill came, we were told it was £91 and offered the card machine to pay! We challenged the bill! The bill was actually £60! Which we paid for in cash! Would I visit again! No. Portions were too mean and I didn’t appreciate an over inflated bill! Feel, the place needs a good clean and update on furniture and tables! Benches that are old - resulting your dinner is an a slant is not good! Plants need to be trimmed of dead leaves! Positives. Food tasted ok, not outstanding and the tunes played by the DJ were excellent! Staff - is made up of young people who are given the opportunity to ‘train’ but need some direction…. Smile… engage with customers etc!
