What a gem. Great food, lovely staff, and good value. Can also buy store cupboard and cleaning items at good prices. Also there is parking in front.

I’m a committed meat eater and omnivore, so is my 80 year old mum but a few people have suggested we try here. A bit fed up of town traffic we thought give it ago. I had the nicest mushroom carbonara thing I genuinely am shocked neither eggs or dairy involved. Very generous coffees involving oat milk which added to it (think I’d avoid tea). Mum had a bhajii burger which she loved I think she’d have been up for spicier. Service and staff were lovely, welcoming and friendly and explained what vegan stuff might surprise. I’d definitely be back purely because we both enjoyed the food so much and so easy to park and not rushed vs town. Very nicely priced we had 2 big main meals and large coffees for £19, usually in town we spent £23-26 and not as nice plus parking costs. There were quite a few solo eaters or coffee drinkers who seemed happy so somewhere comfortable for a solo visit. Estate location isn’t obvious but some interesting shops including a West Indian / exotic supermarket as well. Good parking. Cafe had the nicest vibe and mix of clientele with solo, couples. A little shop within cafe of interesting vegan things and general foodie spices, ethical stuff, eco refil detergents and shampoo.

Great place to meet up with friends or take the family. Fantastic vegan snacks, breakfasts and lunches served by friendly staff. The cakes are all home made and great to have with a choice from a large selection of hot and cold drinks, or to take home and enjoy later that day. There are also themed evening meals and Sunday lunches once a month, these are bookable in advance.

There is a small menu with relatively simple dishes, all well done. Great cheese toasties and other sandwiches (I liked the pulled "pork"), and nice cakes and drinks (though from an ethical perspective, I wasn't pleased to see Nestle items there). We would definitely go back when next in Bury and we'd recommend it to people who want a good vegan meal.

This is best Vegan Eatery in Bury St Edmunds. The Food is cooked to order with the freshest ingredients. The staff and friendly and welcoming and go out of they way to make your visit comfortable and enjoyable. There is a lovely special every week and the cakes are to die for. This lovely little place is a Gem and I’m so glad I found it. The owner Allison is very chatty with everyone, always has a smile on her face and goes out of her way to accomodate you. Tom the Chef is warm and friendly, and Jackie has a permanent smile on her face and is very kind and caring to every customer. Fantastic service from amazing wonderful staff. Highly recommend Allisons Eatery.

Stumbled across this gem on a recommendation from a fellow vegan! Me and my mum popped in and the shop has an amazing selection of goods to buy as well as laundry goods (all eco) which we love! Every element of the shop and eatery are plant based and we love that! My mum isn’t vegan but absolutely loved the food and drinks served. A very friendly welcoming atmosphere & we were served the yummiest food! We have been several times and have never been disappointed. Support local and go and shop / eat here! An absolutely amazing find tucked away, with lots of parking! The prices are so reasonable & we love the ethos and atmosphere of the whole business / experience from start to finish! Thank you!

Wow I am not a vegan or a vegetarian. In fact I love a great cheese burger, but my parter has had food from Allison’s before even though she isn’t a veg either but likes the food, so she suggested I take her in for lunch and not really knowing what to order, the staff are very friendly and helpful but also incredibly knowledgeable about the food. To sum up, the food was great, the whole experience was great and we will be going back soon Thank you all at Allison’s

We were excited to find an authentic Greek cafe and not disappointed with our find!! We had Gyros and a pie. The salad that accompanied them both was delicious. The tsatziki was yummy. We stocked up on some goodies to take home. Lovely staff

A rainy day so I had lunch at the Haven. A very healthy and tasty tuna jacket with a simple fresh salad and a pot of Yorkshire tea. Friendly staff and a very popular place. Best of all, by eating here you are supporting St Nicholas Hospice.

Christian cafe. Lovely people. It was a bit awkward as no background music and I was the only one there. But did talk to the staff in the end and they were very friendly. Lovely building. Yummy food and very reasonable.
