Room was very nice and well appointed with everything seeming very new and clean. Service was excellent too - I was up too early for breakfast so was offered a to-go breakfast instead. And the location is perfect, save for the lack of free parking, but Bitterbeck car park is less than 2 minutes from the hotel front door.

Breakfast only. Good plateful, neatly oresented, but self-service selection was a bit more limited compared to past while price has bumped up. Selection perhaps understandable as out of busy season.

Great stay with our Airedale dog. All the staff we met were so friendly & helpful, breakfast was great (even Amos had his own breakfast!) and set us up for the day. Hotel was clean, comfortable, charming and warm and in a great location. We will definitely be back! Thanks

2 Pack Horse CourtEverything we got here was amazing! Don't get fooled by the name though it's not just waffles but other desserts, breakfasts and proper meals! Everyone in here enjoyed their food.

Station RdGreat cafe in a superb location offering job opportunities to young adults with disabilities surrounded by support, deserves to be a success. Really enjoyed our visit plenty of seats both inside & out, the service was great & the staff member really engaging, only minor gripe was it stated bacon baps/rolls & we got ciabatta rolls which are a different texture & more difficult to consume when slightly older, maybe worth just checking the menu & if things differ, to advise customers, that aside, still a very pleasant visit & happy to contribute to such a great cause!

The SquareWe had a lovely dinner at the Black Lion this evening. The food was great and the pub was warm and welcoming, such lovely people. We’ll definitely be back!
