Allenton Balti House in Derby

This is my 5th time ordering and that's testament to how great this place is. Every type of curry I've had so far has been lovely, as well as the rice and bread. The one-off kebab was also delicious. Thank you for the great food, value and service!

Never got to taste it. Wet food put in paper bag! Lifted out of carrier bag bottom fell out of paper bag three curries two rice all over kitchen floor. No offer to replace. Never again

Don’t ask if I want the sauce in a tub… then put it in the kebab anyway :(

Delicious food and was delivered hot

Order delivered wrong order a chicken & lamb masala got 2 chicken masala, sauce very watery & tasteless ended up throwing in the bin. Big disappointment

1st time ordering but found kebab bland and greasy sorryyy,

ask to upgrade nan bread to cheese and garlic come plain,very thin nan bread more like a wrap.. portion size poor asked for doner shish got about 5 pieces of shish only but paid £8.50 for this .

Order never arrived rang restaurant they don’t care even tho I use them weekly! Won’t bother again… just eat refuse to sort it said restaurant should! But all was happy to take my money!

asked for sauces to be separate as I don't like chili and my partner doesn't like mint. very little if any mint on it just covered in chili. usually pick up and it's lovely but disappointed tonight

Waiting time and food was ok but the delivery driver guy cleared his Flem into his mouth then spat it at out on our car was gonna tip him until I witnessed him doing this , was not very professional and now I feel like my car needs washing

#BIG DISAPPOINTMENT # We order 9 butter naan , 6 tandoori naan, 3 peshawari naan , I GO TO THEIR SHOP AND REQUEST THEM TO MAKE IT THINNER BUT UNFORTUNATELY THEY MAID NAAN LIKE UNCOOKED AND THICK LIKE RUBBER SLEEPERS . AGAIN GO TO THEIR SHOP FOR COMPLAINT BUT THEY START ARGUING AND SHOWING AGRESSIVE BEHAVIOUR. PLEASE IF ANYONE EVER VISIT ALVESTON NEVER TRY THEM. WASTE OF MONEY WASTE OF FOOD AND ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE . VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Food came 45 minutes after tracking said it had been delivered. Tried to call the restaurant several times but there was no answer. When the food eventually showed up, the driver just handed it over with a poor apology about being short staffed. I'm more annoyed about the poor communication from the restaurant and the fact that it had been changed on just eat to delivered when the food hadn't even left the restaurant. Will not be ordering from here again.

The food wasn't bad, but once when I ordered the same item I got lettuce with it. Not now. When ordering, there is no question whether I want salad, so they assume that they know better and that I don't want lettuce in my kebab. Unfortunately, it was a mistake. I like lettuce in kebabs. Plus your driver. I have lived in this house for over 20 years. It was the first time I heard that I couldn't give my own address. Apparently your driver is extremely smart, he should work for the council. And then he left gate wide open.

Burger was cremated, chips were undercooked, could even smell burnt food before the bag was opened, delivery guy was rude and was banging at the door very impatient, was such a let down ! Iv eaten from here a few times and it’s always been nice, never a problem until now.

Whenever i go Allenton Balti House im always satisfied. I go there every now and then and whenever i do i have the best experience. They make fantastic food along with great friendly service! First takeaway in Allennton to have friendly and very professional staff. The food is always set to a high standard and the foods always made fresh and fast! Highly recommend, hidden gem indeed! WOULD RECOMMEND!!!!! Thankyou for your service, much appreciated.

The delivery driver was very rude, called me and said come get your food and hung up before I could ask him where exactly he was. My daughter went outside and he was just sat in the car so had to come bk in to call him then he reversed erractly. He seemed moody and very unfriendly as he passed the food

Lovely burgers and cheesy chips. Fresh and fast delivery.

Ordered a 5 meat kebab. Where shall I start, took 45mins so thought must be fresh. Disgusting is an understatement. Tandoori leg was stale and days old, seek kebab was still frozen inside, hardly any shish, what ever 2 pieces there was, they were burnt to black charcoal. SFC piece was stale. VERY VERY BAD. GOD HELP ME IN THE MORNING, AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Pizza arrived overcooked and burnt in places. Pepperoni and the base and crust in particular was burnt, crisp and black. Chips were a little better but still overcooked. Needless to say, 7/8 of the pizza and 2 x chips went straight in the bin. I have used this takeaway for nearly 20 years but this is most definitely the last time I will use this place as standards have deteriorated during this time. One very unsatisfied and unimpressed customer. If I could have given minus stars, I would have.

FAST delivery BUT…. That’s where it ends. From the grumpy “Here” from the delivery guy to the shockingly BAD food, a one star experience tonight. Undercooked Donner meat, so FULLY expecting food poisoning or at least a dodgy stomach. Tried these for a change and I’m stupefied as to how they haven’t been closed down serving this. Will CERTAINLY be complaining to the local authorities Do yourselves a favour and steer clear, I certainly will.

if there was a 0 rating i would honestly put this. i ordered some food for me and my family, i ordered chips for my kids and honestly i could feed it to them, i had to order something else. the polystyrene was melted due to the heat and i was worried that my kids would be poorly, i got myself a chicken wrap with salad and sauce and it came with no sauce and, you guessed it, no salad. i’m never ordering from here ever again and i recommend you don’t either.

Wrong items received later than promised. When called was told that I was wrong because what Id ordered wasn’t available. It is literally an option on their menu.

Food was cold when it arrived, and when I called the shop to let them know, I was told the order was marked as arrived in the correct time window so it was “my problem” and hung up on me when I asked what was going to happen about replacement food or a refund.

The pakoras was soooo hot I had to chuck them away won’t be haveing them again

Nice food but why no salad on kebab? Second time now

Ordered a kebab one of the smallest ever for the money I paid. I will not use them ever again. I complained but all they said was prices have gone up. Not the way to treat a customer.

They delivered my garlic bread burnt to a crisp. So burnt it was inedible as all you could taste was burnt bread and cheese

Its kebab is one of the worst kebab iv ever eaten, tikka was awful really bad, not cooked properly, tasted like you are eating raw meat. I would not ever go here again. If you need to eat kebab, then I would recommend Dalizia on London road. Also, for a large portion, it wasn't even looked large to me, which was very little portion.

If there was a 0 star then I would put that. Honestly I ordered a large mixed kebab and was given a size that a 5 year old could eat and still be hungry after. There was no kebab within the meal and I’m still hungry. What a waste of my money and my time. Please do not order from here!

Meet cooked perfectly, not too dry and with tikka flavour but it could be slightly more of it. Fresh naan and salad unfortunately with too much onions for me. Overall this time 5 stars! Keep going!!!
