Lovely staff! The food is fresh every time I go, and I have never had a bad meal. The deserts are immense. I am not gluten intolerant but tried the gluten free cherry bakewell cake, and oh my lord, it was gorgeous.

Lunch with two friends, one of whom celebrates her birthday later this week, was delicious. We all had the day’s special, a rice dish with a beautifully moist and tender chicken leg. It was seasoned to perfection. Everything was very reasonably priced and the staff , who were very efficient and friendly, popped up at the end with a little candle-lit cake and sang ‘Happy Birthday ‘ to our friend. An excellent lunch.

Stumbled across this gorgeous little café after being out walking and we are so glad we did! It was lovely! The cakes were to die for! I had earl grey tea but my wife tried the Persian tea, it was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! The staff were lovely and friendly too. We will definitely be going back!

Went for breakfast with a friend: our 1st visit to Pomegranate after having had it recommended to us. We weren't disappointed! An excellent menu - spoilt for choice with everything reading delicious & looking scrumptious when customers were being served! The Nagasi was very tasty & looked so appetising: perfect! We shall look forward to working our way through the menu in future visits. Service was equally excellent & the atmosphere was warm, friendly & so very inviting. Highly recommended!

An amazing place to explore Persian food and get a taste of authentic Iranian flavours. We have tried several different dishes on their menu and have been impressed by the quality of the food. Their service is also top notch. Lovely warm atmosphere with genuinely passionate owners. Very much recommended.

Lovely friendly staff beautiful food took a birthday cake in and the whole restaurant sang happy birthday which was wonderful for my daughters birthday staff were wonderful and even brought plates out for the cake really enjoyed the dining experience would go again

Love nice cafe with different food. Coffee with cream was nice. We sat in and had the Persian breakfast for 2. Different and very tasty and not so filling, like a full English, that you feel you can still wander around the village afterwards. Feta was probably the best I've ever had. Not been a fan of feta but this was very firm and tasty. Lots of nice bits to take out. We bought sour cherry jam, cookies and Turkish delight. . Can't wait to try.

First visit after a friend recommended it for lunch and I wasn't disappointed. Service was excellent, friendly staff, attentive but not overly so. Food was amazing. It made lunch feel special. It's good value too, they seem to have hit the perfect balance, it maybe was more than I would normally spend on lunch but it felt like having dinner. Have already recommended it to lots of friends and will return myself soon.

Unfortunately I can't comment on the food ! I booked a table for 2 to celebrate my husband's birthday...On booking, the Pomegranate were informed it was a special occasion! On arrival we were shown to a " shelf " facing a wall with 2 high stools at the rear of the room ! We left.... extremely angry and disappointed. A birthday celebratory lunch completely ruined ! So, a word of caution..if you book a TABLE for 2, confirm that is what you will be allocated! 😏

Incredible authentic Iranian food. Very clearly all handmade and it was absolutely delicious! Amazing for breakfast, lunch and cakes/baklava. The service is exceptional and always helped with explaining the dishes. The best place in Great Ayton for food hands down

Just amazing! Delicious food! There are plenty of options for cakes and sweet treats if you just fancy a coffee and a nice place to rest. It’s also dog friendly which is a plus! The staff are so accommodating to all our needs and very knowledgeable about the menu and were happy to give us some recommendations. Hamideh and Massoud, the owners are lovely and you can tell they are passionate about the food by the outcome. I really can’t recommend the Persian tea room enough. Overall a lovely atmosphere that requires a return visit.

This is a new restaurant opened early February 2022. Small, cosy and very friendly but only open for breakfast, a lunch and daytime teas and snacks. The food is authentic and very, very delicious. Prices are reasonable too.

Came here several months ago for a family birthday dinner. They were attentive but I think that could be because it was not busy, considering it was a Friday night. The starters were yummy, and came out pretty fast. The mains took quite a while and was average food. The drinks were fairly good prices but I think the food was quite expensive. Overall I think it’s a nice place to dine but wouldn’t come again because their are other places nearby that do similar food for less money.

food arrived with one sauce spilt over the contents of order and items missing. could only salvage half the food due to being covered in sauce the meal with the sauce could only eat half due to sauce missing. rang to complain requested to collect food as replacement was not suitable. when collected told no refund as half had been eaten. although it hadn’t. message from just eat that missing items and £4 had been refunded from a £43 order. disgraceful service.

Visited Allegria Restaurant with my family for a meal recently on a Saturday night. We arrived at 6pm which was a great time because by 7pm the restaurant was filling up quickly. The food was absolutely delicious and good value for money (under £20 for 3 courses!) They offer a Happy Hour menu everyday until 7pm and the main menu has lots of choices. The staff were also very friendly and attentive, even though they were run off their feet. I will definitely be returning to Allegria!

We'd booked a table for after the fireworks - I was waaaaay late because of the chaos trying to get out of a car park that would shortly be locked, but they entertained my wife while she waited. Half pasta carbonara and a half pizza romana went down a treat after the wait.Thank you.

After leaving it late to book anywhere , myself and my girlfriend couldn't get in anywhere (too busy, sat night) . So as we were leaving stockton we noticed this place was open , and worryingly empty for a sat night. Firstly the good points, nice and clean , nice decor and lovley staff. We ordered a garlic bread to share for a starter , which was dry , very hard and had a strange burnt taste to it even though it wasn't burnt?? Then my girlfriend had a parmo , which never had any bachemal sauce on and far too much mozzarella cheese to make up for that. We couldn't understand what had happened to Teessides famous dish?? I had the cannoloni which was ok but seemed to be covered in mozzarella (which I like , but far too much) . Unfortunately we won't be returning as we think there's more options in Teesside. We also find it hard to believe there's only good reviews on here??

I thought the food here was really good. Pizza was pretty big, I think they are 12 inch. Service was attentive and spot on.

Our first visit but definitely not our last. The warm welcome we received from Lottie and her colleague were a good sign. Our food came quickly and both starters (potato skins and mozzarella) were really tasty.We had main courses of Bolognese and Arrabiata. Huge portions, full of flavour and perfectly cooked. Sadly, neither of us had room for the delicious looking desserts! A real hidden gem

My son and I were regular customers at the old Bridge Road premises. Went to Nelson Terrace just after it opened and said we'd never go again. However, we did go tonight and what an improvement. Food was as fantastic as ever - the difference was in the staffing. Lottie was brilliant, very enthusiastic and full of ideas as well as being full of smiles. Think we might be going there again

Excellent meal. Thoroughly enjoyed Chicken Thai followed by delicious cheesecake. Staff very efficient & attentive. Couldn't fault Allegria. 4 in our party & everyone was highly satisfied.

We used to goto the restaurant when it was close to work so decided rogue it's try before the fireworks.The new site is small but nice, clean and tidy and the staff are as nice as always. We had the two course special and our daughter had the kids meal deal which was drink, main and dessert. Our food came quicklyand tasted alright, not as nice as I have had in the past but things change and we all agreed we would go back again to try something else. The BBQ sauce was very acidic for my taste so I didn't have much with my starter of potato skins-they were slightly Crispy but we're okay.

Food was good friendly service! The main downside was we were sat near the door which was rather cold on the legs.

We’ve passed this restaurant many, many times and, until about May/June this year, I’m ashamed to say we hadn’t tried it.

This restaurant has always been one of our favourite restaurants and continues to provide excellent cooked meals at very affordable prices. The service is always efficient and friendly. Long may the restaurant continue to prosper!

After many lovely lunches here with family we arranged a lunch meeting at the restaurant and none of us were disappointed. The potato skins are a particular favourite and the pate was a new hit too.

This little restaurant is an absolute gem. Friendly attentive staff and great Italian food. So reasonably priced it’s a steal.

Allegria is by far the best resturant around whether its a big group booking a little family/friends get together or just a couples date night.The staff are so welcoming the food is delicious and the prices are brilliant.If I could leave more than 5 stars I would highly recommended.

Visit the restaurant as often as possible and am never disappointed. Had a massive craving for chicken a la crema. So decided to order delivery. Just wow ! Absolutely wow. Exactly the same as would be served in restaurant. Delivered , surprisingly by one of the lovely waitresses.Apologies I have forgotten her name. Food was hot and tasty .Also ordered profiteroles , lovely to see they were not in the same bag as the hot food.

We were staying in Stockton for one night and I needed a good Italian to celebrate my sons 23 rd birthday. I took to this site and on seeing the excellent reviews I booked a table. We arrived and I must admit we were surprised about the area it’s in but we were not disappointed by the standard of service or the food both of which were excellent the prices are keen and even a bottle of wine was s good price. That’s were most places fleece people but not this restaurant. We’re were so stuffed we didn’t order puddings but the staff still suddenly came in singing happy birthday with an ice cream for us to share. There was no charge for that either. All in all an excellent experience and happy to recommend my only regret is we live too far away to make regular visits, but will go next time we’re up in Stockton!

Not anything like authentic Italian food. Very bready pizza base with all topping in the middle. Very poor quality of food.

I'll start by saying I NEVER write reviews, but this one is overdue!

Sometimes my hubby surprises me by actually making a booking for somewhere I want to go! I've been waiting for an excuse to try the new Allegria following their relocation so was delighted when that turned out to be where my 14th anniverary treat was to be!

Beautiful meals every time, the mozzerella starter was full of flavour and calzone is amazing. Very friendly service.

Went tonight for a birthday celebration.There were 16 of us and the staff handled it wonderfully. Food was fantastic and the service was the most attentive I've known anywhere in a long time. The girls were fantastic with the children in our party. Try it you won't be disappointed
