Food is well presented and cooked to order. outdoor seating & tables with undercover areas when weather is inclement. A great takeaway experience from a street vendor style operation that uses local produce.

Had lunch here today as family, excellent food made to order. Haddock wrap was delicious and fresh. Good size portions. This is something a bit different, food is ordered from the van & inside seating is in the yurt with a log fire. Also a good stop for coffee. Will definitely be back to see what is on the menu next

This needs to be much higher up the list than some of the other places to eat, I come here often and the food is amazing and the staff very friendly, I live in Aviemore and know how good this food truck is. A wee hidden gem it seems. Honestly try it out folks you won’t be disappointed 👌

This hidden gem is worth the short drive out of Aviemore, the food is so fresh and tasty, there is nothing like it anywhere else in the area. We sat outdoors to eat but there is a large yurt for those rainy days. My teenager can’t get enough of this food!

We came here on a recommendation by our AirBnB and we were not disappointed! Ordered the special marinated chicken burger, double smash burger with fries and the BBQ brisket loaded fries with slaw. All of which were amazing and packed with flavour. There is an area outside the food truck with outdoor picnic bench which is limited, however plenty of space to park up and eat. Alternatively, food comes in takeaway cartons so can be easily transported. The food came quickly, probably waiting around 10 minutes or so.

On holiday and went for lunch last week. We had burgers, fish wrap and brisket loaded fries. As usual really delicious and worth the money. There is a new yurt next to it which is lovely and will be welcome when or if the weather is ever poor in Scotland 😂

Really is the best option for a take away meal that has fresh gourmet food cooked to order, plenty for the kids to choose from. Picnic tables are available to use to eat at and a new yurt has been erected so you can eat your food in the dry should the rain come in. High quality food every time we've been and highly recommended.

Was recommended this place by an instructor at G2 Outdoors and so glad we were as we didn't know about it. Amazing food at fair prices. Great choices and all the food we had was lovely!

What a great find on our bike ride along the Speyside way. Confused a bit by Tripadvisor calling it Alive Forest foods instead of Alvie Forest Foods. Ate here twice during our stay in the area. Even the fussy teenagers ate everything. The sweet potato wrap was delicious and the brisket was so tender. The coffee was also really good. Great service and a really nice place to eat outdoors. Reasonable prices too in an area where tourists are routinely ripped off for mediocre food. Toilets in the vicinity were a bonus too.

We had some really delicious cake and tea. I would definitely recommend the banana chocolate cake and the apple caramel cake. The service was really nice and I would definitely stop there again.

Food was nice and service was, for the most part, friendly. One server seemed to be having a bad day. Brusque and barely civil. Very expensive for what was served.

Lucky to find that dinner was available on one of the nights. The meal was excellent. Extremely well cooked, presented and served. Don't miss the opportunity to eat there if you can. Elaine is a great cook/chef.

Agree with the other reviews. This is an unlikely place to find at the end of the world. We felt welcomed and in the main enjoyed our stay. The only downside was the cost for the 2 of us. £200 for a snack, breakfast, plate of curry and a bunkhouse bed with no shower and a outside toilet seemed breathtaking expensive. To put this into perspective, we go to a nice hotel each year for a winter break, that's more than we pay per day at the hotel with vastly more civilized amenities. I do understand there are logistics involved at Cape wrath. However for an 'ordinary' local Scottish person I'd be looking to stay at sandwood bay and make a lunch trip to the cafe as I simply can't justify the cost/value. However, it is altogether improbably situated and a must experience if you are doing a long walk. Just be prepae your expectations.
