Ali Baba Kebab House in Hackney

Delicious hot succulent meaty kebab, plenty of rice and salad and bread, in short everything you could want from a kebab and at a very modest price. Great job guys keep up the good work.

Over an hour and a half for delivery, when called the restaurant was told driver on the way. 30 mins later still not arrived. Used to order regularly but won’t bother again. I’m a reasonable person and accept things happen but don’t like being lied to that the drivers coming when he’s nowhere near.

Vine leaves & Halep Lamb Shish. Dolma as good as ever with a layer of salad underneath. I've had Halep before but with Doner Kebab. Not keen because the Pitta is very soggy but the sauce is nice. Plenty of Pitta's and a good side salad. Won't order Halep again; sorry. John

lovely tasty food delivered early and hot

i ordered 4 food items and 2 drinks , two of my food items did not turn up , i waited over an hour for it to return and it did not

Very well prepared and tasty doner wrap. Followed requests. Fries were not tasting fresh and tasted as if were re fried and tasted hard and stale

Nice n loaded platter. Meat were cooked well and loved the Adana meat strip it was juicy unlike other stores that are thin and dry.

They forgot the salad and sauces plus the Dr pepper can had been punctured and leaked everywhere..but foid still great

Quality is so poor now. Dry chicken, cheap horrible cheese on chips, burger sauce nasty, rice plain. Quality has gone down, prices gone up. Time to go somewhere else as its been declining for months

For the price we paid for our wraps we are very disappointed with the size compared to going into the store to buy the same thing. Not great at all.

Not the quality as it was a few years ago, kebabs are so dry and even the size of those kebabs a big chunk, not the Ali Baba that was 3years ago.

The food was delicious but the restaurant got my order wrong. Gave me a quarter pounder instead of a half pounder and I never got compensated

The burger was soggy cold chips were shambles , I would never order from here again first and last time

I asked for freshly carved meat (as I have gum problems; which I told the bloke over the phone) and and over cooked chips (to make sure they were cooked). Meat was that manky stuff that's sliced than kept warm for hours, and chips were not cooked! All I could eat was the salad... the rest went in the bin! A waste of £20! "NEVER AGAIN!!!"

Food was late n time got added n when food came it wasn’t up to standards meat wasn’t cooked enough Rice was grainy wasn’t happy

I paid £30 for what was meant to be a chicken shish kebab and a mixed lamb shish with Donner combo. The chicken was tough and there was 8 small pieces. The other kebab was 4 tough pieces of lamb and the tiniest amount of Donner meat. The tray container was filled with rice …. So I paid £30 for what was really 2 containers of rice! My son also said it was flavourless. What a rip off. Certainly will not be re-ordering from this cheating take away again. Don’t waste your money. Very poor show.

My food was not correct and had missing items

Food arrived late and was COLD with 4 tiny bits of chicken shish. The guy was rude on the phone and said it's on the way and then said what do I want him to do and continued to tell me he has only one driver. I've been a customer for years and never had such rudeness to which he said everyone is a regular what do you want me to do. When i said my food will be cold he said what can i do!!!! I will not be ordering from here ever again. So disappointed...not a great way to keep repeat customers lol

Best food ever. Arrived super quick. Food Portions back to what I’m used to. Presented and wrapped with care. Food tasty as it’s always been. They do this to perfection. I love Ali babas. Standard go to best kebab in london imo. Quicker than maccy dees x much healthier if you want a fast food meal treat.

Too many fries, no sos and all from freezer. Small sandwich. I advise to search a bit more.

So glad I've found a really good quality, reasonably priced kebab joint between Dalston and Stokey. These are not easy to find. They are either too expensive or service is not good or the food hygiene rating is bad! :) This place is awesome - great food, quick delivery and great service too.

Food is always good without doubt, I ordered a platter which was brilliant. Downside is you forgot my drink which was annoying. Other than that 👍👍👍

The wrap was completely soaked from the sauce or maybe from being in a plastic bag? Luckily what my partner ordered had 2 pittas so I used one of his and had to empty the inside out as the wrap itself was inedible shame as the chicken halloumi and salad was very nice.

Bought from ali baba before for my family so thought it would be a good restaurant to go with again. But unfortunately did not live up to expectations bought the family platter which says 7 pc ribs maybe they forgot to put it in as ther wer non. Top part of the platter was already getting cold although bottom was nice and warm and tasted good but the description didnt match what was given. I bought ben and jerry which didnt come instead thy gave extra bottle of pepsi and a small cake piece to make up the cost of the ice cream very irritating but it had to do as everyone was hungry. Also bought a few other items which i have done in the past but i guess portions are goin small due to costs only thing that was a good portion was the salad 🤣🤣🤣

Unfortunately the quality of food is down I have been ordering since 6 years, today the chicken Donner was tasteless and burnt. Portion of chips very small and again something in the green salad was off. Although their prices got up by £2. Very very disappointed

The doner meat seems to taste cheaper quality to what you have used before, and was dry. Also chips portion needs to be increased because you gave lots of meat which I am grateful for but chips were very small

Kebab was dry, and had no taste to it, chips was soggy and plain (no salt/vinegar), food was cold inc pitta bread which I had to pay extra and didn't even get another one. Won't be ordering from this place again, I requested a refund!

Everything tasted fresh, got this a little while ago and wasn’t up to the normal Ali Baba standard ( still good ) but todays food was 10/10. Chips were crisp and fresh as was the Lamb Donner! Best Kebab I’ve had in a while and it was taken away. Normally taken away kebab is sweaty, today far, far from it. Home of the Kebab.

Good Lamb Shish with a small portion of boiled rice underneath. Houmas fine just the Pitta bread was very dry. Shame they've seemed to stop using the flat bread Pitta as they are moist. Will order again as this was a small meal but still cheap. John

The delivery driver was a disgrace no customer service and has the audacity to argue with me for him being late. First of all he went to the wrong address and then when he arrived after me explaining exactly where to go he starts arguing with me telling me he was at the right address in the first place by pointing to the building next to mine lol. Will never order from here again because of driver

Don't know if you have changed your lamb doner supplier but it tasted completely different from usual sorry to say but not as nice.

Took ages and every thing we ordered tasted horrible. Easily the worst takeaway we've ever had, would like a full refund because everything was sopping wet and inedible.
