Not what you'd expect from the outside. No food but well kept beer. Sports TV. Nice helpful staff. Has the potential to be so much more. It has to be said.... the toilets are epic! You'll just have to go and see for yourselves. I don't take many photos pointless cr4p so go for it. What have you got to lose?

Had a pre birthday meal with family meal at Alfie’s on 19th December 2021 - the entire experience was fantastic! The food was amazing and the staff were fabulous. If you haven’t been there yet for a meal or drinks you need to get yourself down there, I promise you will not be disappointed. This was our first time dining with a large number of people as we have dined as a couple many times before, all of our meals were served to perfection at the same time and everyone was extremely pleased with their meal - we all complimented the chef and staff 👌

Not rushing back called in Boxing day evening only to stand at bar and be ignored by the staff who were talking to customers already served with drinks even the staff from the Glass clean area came out then did a quick u turn and went back not the 1st time unless you notice your custom you will lose it .Covid not going away bums on seats is vital to any business to survive in these troubled times

Visited here on a Friday evening....un pleasant entrance- as the whole bar stops and stares as you walk in.... due to the entrance area being completely open- trying to ignore the clicky environment we were seated in the restaurant area. Service was fine, food was hot and served well - fish n chips pretty tasty to be fair. The place has a sports bar feel about it. Big tvs with sport on. On the whole- Not what I was expecting - I was expecting a wine bar with a Cozy feel- the high ceiling which creates noise and the fact when y walk in - the bar stops with everyone turning to view newcomers is unpleasant. As much as I enjoyed my meal i won't return.

Finally made it and was not disappointed. The food was delicious especially the chips which were the best we've had in a while. The midweek specials are great value. The staff were friendly and attentive. All in all a great 1st visit and we will definitely be back soon

We had a lovely experience at Alfie’s last night when we had a family gathering for my wife’s birthday. The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent. It was freshly prepared, very well presented and plenty of it! The cleanliness and hygiene were of the highest standard. Will definitely be going back! 😊

Very limited vegetarian options. When mine arrived it was tastless and the pasta undercooked. The fire alarm went off for what seemed like an age and noone in the bar seemed concerned. I kept looking around for staff for reassurance but noone came to let us know what was happening. Given the high ceilings the sound was horrific. Did not enjoy the experience at all.

Came here for my last hen night the night before my wedding on Thursday xx the staff couldn't do enough for us and the complimentary bottle of champagne with glasses on arrival was an extra special touch xx the food was great too I will be back xx thank you so much xx

We booked in for a meal for 3 adults and 2 kids when we arrived the waitress was fantastic very friendly and helpful asked us if we wanted her to wear a mask when serving us, my youngest has adhd and the waitress kept talking to her and generally kept her attention from running away. The food was amazing it’s the best meal I’ve had for a long time whilst out and the portions are ample we all left extremely happy with full bellies lol Fantastic venue and amazing staff so thanks from the Richards family

Fantastic meal last night, they managed to book 6 of us in yesterday last minute, thank you for that. Even though the bar area was busy, we were seated out the way and managed to have a great catchup with family. The food was tasty and my cocktail was delicious, our server was amazing and so friendly with the kids too. Thanks again 😁

I took my Nan here last night and it’s a must that I write a review, wow! Food was absolutely spot on, you can taste and see that everything is done fresh and from scratch even down to the tartare sauce on my nans fish and chips! Best fish she’s had in years she said. The cocktails are unreal aswell! Staff are just so friendly and nothing is too much. They are faced with new covid guidelines which they have addressed to an extremely high standard. This little place is just a credit to the area and is a must if you like fine dining at affordable price. The Cajun chicken burger is definitely recommended! Keep up the hard work guys 👏🏼👏🏼

had a table booked for my daughters 21st birthday. was very disappointed by the food the pastas were uncooked sticky chewy and tiny portions for the price meet balls also sent back. in all 8 people out of 18 were dissatisfied by the food but to polite to complain and starving. however the waitress and bar staff were amazing very helpful and polite.

Visited with some friends for some pre-meal drinks before visiting a local Indian restaurent. Venue was busy early on the Saturday evening. Venue has good selection of drinks and the food menu looked inviting BUT The noise level in the venue was unbelievable! Without music the noise levels of people talking was above the level that in a workplace would require hearing protection! A mobile disco started up and the music could not be heard due the background noise. The bar would appear to have been converted from a manufacturing unit or a small supermarket and the sound insulation is nil and this really spoils what could be an excellent venue. Headache after 30 mins, will not go again I'm afraid

My partner Jayne and I have frequented Alfies on numerous occasions recently, we have found the atmosphere to be perfect, very welcoming, the Bar staff are all very polite and helpful, the Chef is fantastic with a great menu at exceptional value for the quality and portion size of meals. With a large selection of beers and cocktails to enjoy with your meal what more could you want locally in Little Sutton.

We called in here for a bite to eat before we boarded the ferry to Belfast, having looked for places to eat on Google. Liza, our waitress, was a great: bubbly, enthusiastic and very helpful. My wife had the turkey dinner with all the trimmings including 3 different vegetables and a crisp Yorkshire pudding with very good gravy. My brother had the broccoli and stilton soup which was very tasty. My pasta carbonara had a beautifully creamy sauce with bacon lardons and plenty of parmesan cheese. Kamil the chef, should be very proud of the high quality food he provided.

On the road back to the Liverpool to Belfast ferry, we felt a bit peckish, so bro googled good eating close to ferrys- came up with Alfies- so though it was close to 19 miles from terminal, we had plenty of time and decided to gice it a try. What a right thing to do!! A Sunday latge evening and thge place was a bit busy, but the fantastic scouse woman who met us at the door and couldn't be more friendly and pleased to see us, ( wish i had paid more attention to her name badge), showed us to a table a bit away from the big screen tv's showing the Man utd/ sheffield match. This delightful woman guided us through the whole menu , then asked if we were real hungry or just peckish? We said just peckish, wanted something light to do us over the ferry trip to home. The food we ordered was brought out piping hot and was served with a laugh and brilliant liverpool peasantries. It was georgeous food!!!!! I asked the chef's name ( Kamil) and asked her to send our thanks for such brilliant fare!!! just remembered, the waitress was called Liza!!! such a personality and wit, she deserves a mention in this revue!!¬¬

Shame really 'cos the food (pizza) was nice. But, if I wanted to watch football at full volume on 42" plasmas, I'd choose a Sports Bar. And - if there were 50 football fans guzzling ale I'd cut the place some slack, on the turnover grounds. But 5 aged locals each nursing a pint for 90 minutes doesn't make sense. Place needs a re-think.

We walked into the village and went to Alfies. The young lady serving us was very pleasant, chatty without being too over the top. She was attentive to our needs without being too intrusive. The restaurant was quiet on a Sunday evening but apparently had been busy in the day. There were people in the bar area to create an atmosphere, The food was excellent - cheesy garlic bread not to be missed and the steaks were cooked to perfection. The chef came out and advised that the steaks were thick so we might be better with them cooked medium and he was right. The food was reasonable priced and the bill was less than expected as the waitress put the food through on the two course deal. Definitely worth a visit and it's good to support local businesses.

I'll tell you how Alfie's bar was. Celebrating the birth of my grandson and had a really good time with lots of people in our party enjoying themselves with good service and good prices. Late on I was singing a LFC song which apparently upset some Everton people and was told I was banned from the bar. Obnoxious little sod who told me that but he obviously was pleased to ban a 66 year old Liverpool fan who had spent a large amount of money in his bar. Fair enough, I'll not come back. But you'll always be ugly. And obnoxious. X

We ate here as a big party of friends with children and the restaurant catered for our wide range of needs brilliantly. We liked the children’s menu, as it was not just 2 or 3 dishes. Alfie’s doesn’t seem to have a particular cuisine as a speciality but everything we had was good.

Good value for money and very friendly staff. Went for lunch and seemed a bit cavernous and empty but can imagine the ambience is better in the evenings when it's full and all lit up.

Just visited this place this evening and have to say we were massively impressed!

This was our first visit to alfies and was very hapy with the service and the food was excellent. Will definitely recommend.

We were stuck for somewhere to eat on our first night in the Wirral, but the hotel pointed us to this place. It was a Friday night and the place was very busy and very noisy which wasn't ideal for us, but our waiter, Jordan, found us a quieter corner which was appreciated. The food was excellent and Jordan was very attentive throughout our time at the restaurant.

We had dinner for two, my wife opted for traditional fish and chips (it being Friday) and I the ribeye steak, which was cooked medium to my perfection. It was seasoned well, very tasty and melted in the mouth. The pepper sauce which accompanied it was made in house and tasted equally as exquisite.

Just visited today with the family. The place was empty when we arrived but filled up for the match which gave it a nice atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Great pint of Guinness and the food for all of us came fresh, piping hot and tasted great. Definitely recommend tying here.

This place opened a while ago after many months of anticipation,recently we have tried it a number of times,the place is spotless,as you would expect from a new place,the staff are excellent,the service is superb & the food delicious,the Sunday Lunch especially at £9.99 is very,very good,here's to many more visits!

Cant say enough about this fantastic find . Excellent selection of drinks at good prices . The decor was really tasteful and the toilets were exceptional. Everywhere was spotless. The staff were really friendly. The food we had was first class and you could tell that the ingredients were fresh. The pizza was delicious with dough made on the premises which was very authentic Really looking forward to visiting again with friends and family .

Karl, the licensee, is helpful, considerate, and welcoming. His staff go the extra mile, and, in particular, the restaurant services are beyond excellent. Nice staff, excellent food, and high quality drinks. The ultimate dining experience, bar none. I could not recommend enough. Oh, and the bar staff are truly lovely people.

Unprofessional for some reason the staff don’t ask for ID when you buy your drinks they wait until you’ve drank half, been there a while and having a conversation feel like they should really be asking People before they even buy the drinks instead of being rude and interrupting

I celebrated my birthday on 10th December 2018 at Alfie's Bistro. The staff and the manager were very welcoming and the service was excellent. They have a well stocked bar and their pizzas are the best I have tasted.

Have visited alfies a few times now sometimes for food and sometimes just for drinks and have loved it every time. The atmosphere here is great, the staff are lovely, the cocktails are amazing (bananacolada is my personal recommendation) and the food has always been great. Lovely addition to little Sutton and would highly recommended for a nice evening out.

Enjoyed this place very much, nice, modern bistro with a tv area with comfy seating, a bar area and a large dining area screened off from the main bar. We had a mix of starters including nachos and garlic king prawns follwed by mexican burgers and fish n chips. All nicely presented on wooden platters with plenty of fries n little metal buckets. The service was very good and the staff very pleasant. Plenty of food at the right price, excellent value for money.
