Fabulous food and friendly service Sad to hear it was closing. Would highly recommend the house slaw and toasted sticky fig and bacon sandwich.

We came across this delightful coffee shop and received lovely friendly service. We had coffee and toasted tea cakes which were nicely cooked. a very pleasant experience to compliment our day in Hungerford.

Our first visit since new ownership, had visited many times previously when it was known as Rafters and always had great food there so didn’t really know what to expect. What can I say other than outstanding !! Menu varied without being over complicated and ingredients such good quality. We both had the omelette’s with slaw ..... scrumptious. Usually slaw is just a weak spoonful of shop bought squish but not this one, by far the best I’ve tasted. So good I asked for the recipe.... but I’m not going to share.... you will have to go and try for yourselves. Will definitely return to this little gem.

Ffatastic food, friendly staff, excellent service, caters for children. Always a pleasure to visit. I love the fact that all the food is locally sourced. Fresh vegetables, genuine free range eggs, all meat coming from local butcher. Fresh uncut bread from the bakers. What more could you ask for when dining out. Its a great break from shopping downstairs in the Hungerford Antques Arcade.

First rate little cafe serving an exquisite menu of soups, sandwiches, baked potatoes and delicious home made cakes. Took my two young children and they demolished their fry up lunch, (nicely cooked) and virtually inhaled the chocolate brownie. I had an excellent Cheese & ham toastie with good quality ingredients and fresh salad. Service with a smile and they were very patient with my two young ones in tow. Good coffee too. Loved it , will go back regularly.

This is the 1st time we have been to the restaurant since it has been taken over by the new proprietors. What a difference from our last visit, with the old owners, when we said we would not step inside again. The atmosphere is good, the area clean and tidy, very Covid aware, the food was good and tasty. The staff very friendly. Well worth a visit 5*

We were driving home from Dorset and saw this place as we drive through Hungerford. The tea room is in the upstairs of the antique centre. There is some outside seating too for warmer days. Chatting to the owner they have only just taken this over and opened from 4th July. We had full english breakfast and it was delicious. Coupled with the antique shop plus this lovely cafe you could spend hours here so well worth a visit.
