What a great find, had an amazing meze lots of little extras and the meat course is exceptional.. great value for my money.. i will 100% come back recommend this to the Greeks in the area

Received a notification that food was out for delivery. 10 minutes after the latest ETA I messaged the restaurant-no reply. Then called to be told that the order just came through the machine - well over an hour after I placed the order?? Food was ok when it eventually arrived.

Excellent food at a very reasonable price

I’ve just moved to the area and stumbled across this place on my way to work, went there for dinner on Saturday and would recommend everyone this place! Highlights: - Cosy Environment - Fresh & Authentic Greek food - Great Prices

First time coming here as a date night and can say it was really exceptional. The mixed grill was so succulent and the chicken escalope was very delicious. Lovely ending the meal with fresh fruits and delicious baclava. Nice and calm atmosphere. Very good service, felt very welcoming. Will definately return and recommend. Very happy customer.

Éramos una fiesta de 9 adultos celebrando un cumpleaños. El menú de precio fijo en £ 17. 95 es una excelente relación calidad-precio que ofrece una amplia selección de entrantes, platos principales que también vienen con patatas asadas, un tazón separado de ensalada mixta, así como una porción separada de arroz. Muy buenas porciones y bien presentado. También hay un menú a la carta, que ofrece una excelente selección de comida. El restaurante está muy bien decorado, sillas cómodas, y el personal es muy educado y servicial. Hay un escalón para entrar en el restaurante, y no sé si hay acceso para sillas de ruedas. Si es necesario, sería aconsejable preguntar al hacer la reserva. Ciertamente no pasará hambre aquí y será bien atendido.

Our group’s go to for Sunday lunch. Good set menu reasonably priced with lots of choices. The staff are lovely. Great for parking as free to do outside the restaurant.

This is THE best value restaurant in the area- great mediterranean food for all tastes - easy to park - friendly staff.I have no hesitation recommending Alexanders for a quiet dinner or a party. This is a genuine review .We are returning this evening for dinner. I love the sea bass or the lamb cutlets..My wife enjoys the dover sole .

Usually food is great. I had moussaka for a change BUT the aubergine skin inside was burnt, it felt as if I had plastic in my mouth. Not worth the money very disappointing won't have again. Picture taken but can't upload here.

This is my go to restaurant for dining with family, friends, on birthdays, anniversaries, or even dining on my own. There is a welcoming atmosphere and the food is fresh, well cooked and presented, with generous portions. All of the staff are courteous and friendly. The value for money makes me a returning customer. Alexanders never fails to please.

Our first visit to this restaurant was an enjoyable experience. Spotlessly clean, nice vibes, extensive menu with lots of authentic Greek dishes (but plenty of choice to suit all tastes). The staff were excellent - there when you needed them but not overbearing, the food was cooked superbly and the service was top class. Would thoroughly suggest and recommend a visit - you won't regret it.

Generally great food, but the pita bread is cheap quality and the salad is boring with no dressing, but their meatballs and the halloumi are both very tasty and the veal escalope is great value. Always a smile from the driver too.

A great little find, recommended to us by a friend. Three of us had three courses and wine for less than £90 including service, which is amazing value for money. My wife was not keen on the meze, but apart from that we really enjoyed the food.

Always get Greek kebabs from here…love them. i’m sure the rest of their food is really good too, but to be honest I never get past the kebab😁…..yeeeeay best review ever!😄 oh and properly cooked golden chips too; not white uncooked bits of potatoes like the fish&chips shops.☺️

We tried this as our new local greek venue. As someone who eats traditional Greek food regularly, this really wasn't great. The venue is very outdated and unfortunately not very busy. We ordered the meze to try staple dishes, very surprised to have such cheap starters like crab sticks and prawn cocktail which is not traditional at all. The hot fish starters were frozen panko prawns, calamari and fried small fish which were not fresh or home made. The meat was a great and portion size, desserts were mostly bought in and not home made. Overall it was okay, I wouldn't call it a staple greek restaurant.

First time ordering from Alexanders and we were very happy with the food. Will definitely order from them again soon!

Cheap - definitely. Decent portion sizes. But nothing Greek about it. Basmati rice, "homemade taramousalata" the cheap bright pink industrial stuff, unseasoned salads with uncut chunks of feta from the bottom of a tin. Waiters are nice enough,. though pointing at customers is rude and they couldn't remember who'd ordered what at a single course. The mains were mediocre, though the kebab was very good. Lot of food for your money particularly with the set menu but not a special occasion place and not particularly Greek

Food is always good, tasty moussaka, could have been a bit warmer.

I have used this restaurant several times and I like the quality of the food which is good value too. I would recommend them.

Menu unchanged in years but a fair selection. Despite living round the corner, we took a break for some years because of slow service but realise that Saturday nights can be very busy!! Returned, returned and returned! Fairly comprehensive menu and food always cooked well, very reasonably priced and good service

loved it. delicious moussaka and Stifado. yummy. The only reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars was the copious amount of oil in the Stifado stew. However, I WILL be ordering again.

I haven’t been here for over 10yrs, despite living round the corner from it as I got food poisoning last time. I thought I’d try it again & my 14yr old son was sick ALL night!!

My mother is a regular there and a group of 6 of us went tbere last night .we had the set menu very reasonable price but good portions of hot fresh food served .And finished with a nice fruit platter .Very recommended

The Kleftico I usually order comes with a fair amount of gravy and carrots or vegetables cooked in it. This barely had gravy to pour over the rice, I found it quite plain and bland compared to others that I’ve had.

Absolutely gorgeous food. Will 1000% be getting this again. The lamb was delicious and portion sizes were brilliant. Easily 5*

Fast delivery and good quantity of food.

Food arrived 25 minutes late and a lot of the stews had spilled out the container into the plastic bag. Food quality was good but delivery was a bit disappointing

Needs a lick of paint but there is no disputing the quality of the food, or the value for money. Don't be put off by the look of the place on Google maps. It's not an expensive place but it is great value, great food with good service. We will be going back 100%. Sea bass was great
