Poor, overpriced. chip portions very small prices gone up not great service won't be using again shame how hard is it to make decent food.

Disappointing Fish & Chips. Everything tasted bland, the fish had no taste, curry sauce was so watery, and gherkin wasn't very pickled. The only decent thing was the chips.

I ordered Rock I was very disappointed, As this was the second time I have ordered this. Giving you the benefit of doubt I thought I would try it again. I was hoping it would be better this time. I was seriously disappointed my dinner ruined.

Grandparents come here every week for their weekly chippy and have always been so positive! Always thrilled to join every few weeks for a delicious meal always freshly cooked and tastes amazing, not to mention the friendly staff who are always catering to everyone’s needs and provide a speedy and fabulous service! Will be joining my grandparents weekly chippy as much as I can! Keep up the amazing work!

Never use again all cold didn't look like the fish had been cooked properly looked like it had been rushed people who serve in there couldn't give a crap terrible customer skills waste of time money chips cold and lumpy no no my advice go eleswhere spend your money in a real established fish chip shop that's my advice.

Food is very hit and miss, chips are not very nice , lots of bits that are not eatable , but very expensive

Unfortunately unlike the Chinese and Indian they have no competion in the village and the sluggish ladies that work there want you out the door by 8.55 on a Friday? ? We have just moved to the village and after attempting on a Wednesday night at 8.30 to be turned away then at 8 on a Tuesday 8 "were closing" our third attempt (my husband not me lol) it was open yet so not worth it.it's lukewarm warm cold and if shutting at 8.55 on a Friday doesn't tell you the story I don't know what does lol wish we hadn't bothered

Lovely cod fish, thick and flakey. The chips had a lot of small bits in them. But generally a nice dinner.

Ok the chips was not to terrible but my daughter spare ribs was so tough I needed a meat cleaver to cut them. One of the ladies that works there needs some people skills too.

Love the food and service in this lovely clean place !! The staff are the most friendliest and helpful I have met in a fish n chip shop ! The selection of food is great !! Spoilt for choice !

Amazing .... all i can say. Chips were perfect no eyes no dark bits not cooked and re heated. The haddock was fresh crispy and tasty. The chicken was nice although should of got two pieces. Pie,sausage were nice too. Had a young lad cooking and a lady serving very friendly. Will be back again next time we are in the area. Best fish and chips we have had in a very long time.

Ah wow! Never tasted such nice chips! I’m usually really fussy with fish and chip shops but this was so tasty with every bite! Will be back again soon!

Cod and chips were freshly cooked while we waited. Staff seem friendly. Quite nice food from a local shop.

Ordered a large and a small cod with chips.The fish was huge and had plenty of meat on it chips were nice and a decent portion too. Have been before and a quick tip to others don't go in too early as chips can be a bit hit and miss soon after opening time.

This shop is over priced and the food is below par....always. If possible we try to go to Pegotty's at Asda but the last time it was shut so made the mistake of going to this one.... never again, chips under cooked although this time at least the server had a personality, nice to see new blood in there.

Really enjoyed our fish and chips from Alexanders - family gettogether of 6, 2 Medium Cod, 1 Medium Haddock, I Chicken, 2 Saveloy and 1 Large Rock + 4 chips for £36.00 went down very well

Dropped in on a quiet evening for a burger and chips. It was cooked to order although the burger was hotter than the chips which I think had been left to cool off however the chip portion was huge. Burger ok, could do with a bit more seasoning. Half pound cheeseburger and chips came to £6.50. Pleasant staff.

Not the best food we've ever had, one day you'll get some nice cod and chips, the next it will be poor. The cod doesn't seem to have any set size, ask for large and you could be mistaken for it looking like small. In general you'll get what they have ready. The chips? One day they'll be great another very very poor, almost as if they've been re cooked. Shame. Places like this need to keep their standards up or they'll lose out to better quality chippies up the road. See the photo of my last food order, was too embarrassed to take back. The rest of my families chips were the same. Poor. I asked the owner to contact me via Facebook but he never bothered. Hence this review.

Fantastic fish and chips cooked while you wait,great staff always ready to please try it you will not be disappointed

Fuimos un sábado por la noche. Sé que están ocupados veces. Tuve que esperar 20 minutos para mi para ser tomado. Sólo había una persona trabajando en el mostrador. Alguien me metió delante de cola sólo porque él nos llamó. Normalmente este chips. En noches ocupados deben contratar más personal.

Habiendo vivido en el pueblo durante muchos años, yo estaba muy decepcionado con el pez grande que teníamos recientemente. El tamaño general era sin duda grande, pero la mayoría eran pasta con un fondo muy dura costra que habían sido recalentados o sentarse en aceite...

El mejor pescado y patatas fritas por millas. Siempre fresco y excelente comida. Una gran elección de menú y servido con una sonrisa.

Esta es la solla europea de pescado y patatas fritas - siempre frescos, buena calidad y super personas que sirve ... no cambiar lo que prefiero esperar y tener algo maravilloso!

Excellent fish and chip take away. Burgers, sausages etc. also sold. Clean and excellent service. Parking available on road outside. Senior citizens reductions certain lunch times.

Been here couple of times when visiting the in laws. Always had nice fresh cooked food :) Can get quite busy so that's always a good sign

Went here as Our usual fish and chip shop was queuing out the door and would have taken an hour to get served. Went here smaller queue hotter food and great selection. Ok it's a bit more expensive but it made a nice change.

This ahs to be one of the best local fish and chippy's around, always good quality and the staff are ok as well. This beats other chippy's around this area, the foods always freshly cooked, the selection of what is on offer is amazing for a chippy, well worth the stopping off.
