Aleppo in Bradford

Amazing food. It's that simple. Falafel was one of the best we'd had and at that price, it was the best value by a mile. Made fresh and it came across in every bite. A posh restaurant this is not. No Michelin stars, no piano in the corner. If you want to take a pic for your socials, in front of neon wings with a random saying on a flower wall then this isn't for you. Authentic, wholesome and cosy - great for a date night. The owner is always smiling and welcoming, gives his recommendations on the dish of the day. What he may lack in his grasp of English he more than makes up for with the amazing food. The Hummus is so good I could have had that all night. The kofta and kibbeh were prefect and the muhammara was hands down the best we've had. The kunnefeh was great too. There are better looking places but few with food and value as good as this.

This restaurant looks like a cafe, does not serve alcohol and as a takeaway business. Sadly the owner and his assistant do not speak English. Everything about the restaurant is scruffy. The food was better than expected but we will not return.

I like this quirky hidden gem of a restaurant... and absolutely loved the food. Flavours are spot on and tasted very authentic. Definitely worth a visit!

We went after a matinée performance at The Alhambra - perfectly placed as it is just up the road from the stage door. We shared a cold mixed starter, a hot mixed starter and a salad, all washed down with a pot of Syrian tea. It was all beautifully presented, fresh and delicious! I would definitely recommend ❤️

Visited this amazing family run business and can’t wait to come back to this hidden gem already. If you haven’t been, it’s on great horton road a few doors down from my Lahores. The service was the most welcoming and friendly I have ever received, the owner absolutely melted my heart I can see how much passion and love goes into all the dishes the served. We ordered a verity of foods I could tell just how fresh everything was, everything made from scratch. The portions were massive and even though we are big easters we could not finish finish everything as the portions were very generous. My favourite Fattoush was mouthwatering and full of flavour. The hummus was perfectly blended and tasted great. The chicken shwarma was succulent and wrapped in perfect for toasted bread. The mixed grill came with chicken wings, lamb kebab, chicken pieces and lamb pieces, all perfectly cooked, soft and flavoursome. There was much more but I could not possible describe everything in this one review. I’d urge you all to go down and try it for yourself.

Such nice food. Everything about this place just means passion. Absolutley love this place. Been here a few times amd always have a positive time. Definitley recommend to everybody visiting bradford or already on bradford. Highly underated this place.

We were booked in for show at Alhambra & chose to eat here after looking at the reviews … I’m always keen to use smaller businesses than the corporate restaurants but sadly on this occasion I was wrong. Well what a mistake that was. 1) Restaurant area cold. 2) staff “claim “ to not speak fluent English . 3) table for 2 staff thought was for 4 even though we constantly said for 2. 4) hour later till food arrived and others served before that arrived later. 6) Food received was not what either had ordered & was totally inedible.& was left after a few mouthfuls. Not just us as another customer experience was similar. Staff apologised sorry sorry sorry claiming we were waiting for another 2 people …see no 3. Charged full amount staff still insisting we said was for 4 people. The only plus is that the location was spot on for the theatre . Avoid avoid avoid avoid One of the worst in fact no it is the worst Syrian food I’ve ever had the displeasure to taste

The food was lovely. Very clean. Had halloumi wraps and the cold platter starter was well presented and tasty. Will be back

Levantine food is the best food in the world and we got the real thing here. Friendly but unpretentious tasty food from people who know what they are doing.

We found Aleppo by chance - and what an amazing find! The food is amazing. I had the falafel wrap and my husband had the shawarma wrap and we were both very pleased! Even the chips had some seasoning on which was delicious. Thank you to the guys who work there, you do an excellent job. Wished we lived closer, but we will definitely be back soon!

Friendly staff. Had the most delicious Kebab with Fatoosh. Trouble is the portions are so big. Excellent value for money. You must try the Lemon and Mint drink - heaven.

Staff were very friendly, everything tasted very good, left a tip which obviously we don't normally do that in the UK but I liked the experience that much. Dine in experience felt authentic middle eastern with traditional lights and restaurant menus. Will be coming back again in the near future.

Aleppo is an excellent choice in Bradford, just by the Alhambra. The shawarma was the best I have ever eaten. Nice friendly place.

There’s only 1 word for this place: magic food. Nice small restaurant with authentic ingredients and nice atmosphere. Fantastic value for money. Top quality. Try the cheese rolls

Felt like we were on a mini holiday 😍 The food was 5* We found this place by accident and we are so happy we did. We had team lunch today and we will be sure to return, the food tastes amazing the portions are generous and the owner/chef was just lovely! I will not only return with my team, but I look forward to going with my family ❤️
