Best shawarma ever, good size portion with a smile. The guy even asked me twice if i wanted any bread or anything else with it. Would definitely go again.

He put a lot of 🌶 can't even eat caz I didn't leave any tips + smell disgusting!

Best pizza in Wigan without a doubt

A guilty pleasure for donkeys years, which I now occasionally visit in a much more sober state 😅 Its a part of Newtown's Street furniture, its just there, and even with changes of face behind the counter - an alborz special Kebab is still a treat 👌

rang up to make a complaint about the food, the fella on the end of the phone had the wrong attitude all together and buttoned the phone twice on me. working in a pub and regulars who food was for are not happy. would not recommend as food also came cold 👍🏼

The food here is excellent. The folded garlic bread with cheese is divine and needs to be experienced.

Ordered 12 inch garlic bread with cheese with donnameat on it sent 12 inch folded pizza not what I ordered phone shop the boss come on phone says I make pizza 35 years lfoul mouth me told him to send pizza I ordered or my cash back 1 hour still nothing

Got a kid pizza chicken kerb and Donna kerb sauces on side no drinkonly one sauce and kid pizza was coldnever goback

Friendly staff, the food is tasty. We ordered the cheesy garlic bread which was scrumptious. They make the food pretty fast here so it’s quick. The pepperoni burger is a win too. If you buy a pizza you’ll get free cheesy garlic bread.

We ordered for and there was a slight issue as they initially delivered the wrong order though this was quickly resolved with just a phone call to the restaurant, who also apologised profusely. The driver was then back within a couple of minute, he was also incredibly apologetic. The food was delicious and I couldn’t fault it.

Worst kebab I've ever tried. Went straight in the bin. Cold and had a horrible taste.

Usually get free garlic bread with order over 15 pound but didn't. Food was cold when arrived, and driver seemed drunk! Even ordered over the phone no just eat !

First time ordering from here last night and from reading reviews I thought we will give it a try. Food arrived freezing cold and meat on both kebabs were very chewy and inedible. Sorry but won’t be going back after that.

never had a bad experience from alborz. ive ordered many times however last night was definitely the best experience. my food arrived within 25 minutes of the order being made, and i live around 15 minutes away. the food was lovely, piping hot, lovely driver as well. this place does the best garlic bread going around wigan, i have never had better garlic bread from anywhere in the region. i’ll always come back!

Cracking place, up from Wycombe for our game at Wigan. Nice friendly people, everything cooked excellently. Double chilli burger, chips and tango for £4.50, superb value too.

I have Used alborz for as long as I can remember and never had a problem they do the best pizzas ever yes its hit and miss same with any other takeaway shop i always have a chilli base and order extra chilli sauce which is to die for xx last night ordered a pizza and ordered a chilli sauce for my free garlic bread this morning the chilli sauce is full of mold an i mean full of mold dabsolutely disgusting I won't be returning back after approx 20years of using these guys its a shame albors closed its sister shop as that was far the best

Ordered a mixed kebab for £7.50 amongst other things. It arrived in the small polystyrene container, the same you would get for a small portion of chips. Not good value at all. All my previous orders it was twice the size! Not ordering from there ever again

Next time you deliver to my next door neighbour dont throw a used pizza box outta your car on the street to make the place look like a sh1t tip.. its all caught on camera with your reg too.. feral drivers

Ordered on just eat and got a confirmation email to state my order would be with us at a certain time ALSO got a confirmation email to state that the order was on its way however after waiting and waiting I rang the shop to find out the driver hadn’t even left yet 😂😂 And the person I spoke to wasn’t much help either and told me to wait another 15 minutes. Awful

I first went to Alborz over twenty years ago. Always a decent kebab from there and never have to wait long. Although, I feel the quality of the meat could be better. But after all, you get what you pay for and they do offer good value.

A small takeaway for collection or delivery. Good sized menu with reasonable prices. They are also on just eat.

The food was delivered cold when my wife called the shop to tell them the man on the phone said "what you want me to do about it microwave it" and Kept saying that it wasn't cold. He was very ignorant and hung up the phone while she was still speaking.

Food was good as usual but I think they may have forgotten to put the garlic in the folded garlic bread has it was very bland and dry ..no garlic taste whatsoever .

Usually really good from here, but very disappointed tonight. Naan bread was like cardboard and hardly any salad.

A couple of weeks ago my order took 2 hours after ringing 3 or 4 times it arrived food was amazing ad usual but my pizza was cold and hard (2 hours old) I complained and got another within 20 minutes. tonight my order came within half an hour and there was no kebab meat on both our 3 mix kebab also there were 2 portions of chips missing , weird as they were told the order twice then they rang me back and asked again for the order, I think it might have changed hands as when I complained I got told that my was correct and that I had ordered 2 chicken tikka kebabs and no chips , weird yes I thought so £23 I paid I told them stick their food I eont go there again , maybe if an english person answered the phone they might get the orders correct, Ali if you still own the place my apologies my friend I know its not your fault shame I wont be using alborz any more after 38 years of only getting takes out from there a bit of respect wouldnt have gone amiss ...... STEER CLEAR

High quality pizza (especially for those who like thin bases). The pizza toppings are fresh and certainly of a much higher standard than that of other takeaways in the area. 5*

AMAZING who needs dominos pizza at £50 a slice! Best pizza we have ever had my 5 yr old fussy eater same Mmmmmmm to it and the donner meat and tikka kebab when I asked him to try. Best food on just eat you won't be dissapointed EVER!

Always go to alborz every Sunday after a heavy drinking sesh on a Saturday. Never disappointed. Pizza kerbabs u name it they do it and are always great. Definitely try it.

Not very impressed with my food tonight. My chicken felt undercooked and of very poor quality. Fortunately the rest of our takeaway was much better but I won't be ordering from there again
