Food is OK, however ordered online a 14 inch pizza , and was charged for that, when I picked it up it was quite obviously a 12 inch pizza, when I pointed it out the reply was it says 14 inch on the box, after which I was ignored , they also only deal in cash which in this age is highly suspicious won't be using again

Paid £9 for a burger and chips last night the chips were fine but the burger was absolutely awful I couldn’t even eat it because it was burnt / overcooked and I couldn’t believe when I got home I paid £9 for that 🤮 nothing on the burger just meat which was over cooked. Won’t be buying food from here again.

Charged us £18 for a garlic bread & donner meat and chips. Clearly taking advance of people on a night out . Won't be coming here again !

I ordered a pasta dish at 9.03 PM and got it at 11.28 PM, over 2 and a half hours later. I understand it gets busy, but I do think it's unfair to keep someone waiting for their food for TWO AND A HALF HOURS. The pasta in itself was decent and hot. Will order again, just hope I won't have to lose sleep over it.

Very rarely order a takeaway because most in Wigan are crap, but this takeaway was banging got two pizzas and a cheesey garlic bread you deserve a good rating thank you

This always used to be our favourite takeaway pre Covid , tried again just after they re opened after first lockdown and the food had changed not sure if new owners. However tonight the food was outstanding , arrived 15 minutes early . Really tasty and plentiful even got a free garlic bread which you never used to get , couldn’t fault it at all ! - keep it up 👍

The Sheesh was disgusting, like mush. Didn't even resemble meat. Without doubt the most disgusting Sheesh I have ever had. The rest was ok though. It was like the Sheesh had been boiled or something

Never received food... Called an hour early. Wrote on the check, my times and order, pre empted issues.. To be fair I was on a train and only had a 15 minute window, Spoke to the lad. Who seemed like he had it together. He's told me I could cancel the order but its already gone through.. Just looking to get a £5 back as I'm a student. I'm sure it would of been delicious. And I hope Someone else could eat it.

Food came was stone cold like it had just come out of the fridge I phoned up got new order after another 40 mins wait and thats completely wrong from what I ordered the 1st time around

Unfortunately, I wasn’t impressed by the service I received. Firstly, the food arrived cold/luke warm. Secondly, my instructions to the restaurant were completely ignored which meant me leaving half the meal untouched. Put me off ordering from here again. A positive, though, was the cheery delivery driver who respected social distancing guidelines.

The young lad is rude every single time I go in. Annoyed at me that he didn't read the ticket about the order. Somehow its my fault. Never again.

it was cold as balls when it came, asked for another kebab that hasn't been left outside in the cold for half an hour, but I guess I'll have to wait another 1.5 hours for it.

Ordered the family pizza deal, the order arrived quick, driver friendly, chips were boiling hot looked freshly made, pizzas gorgeous, garlic bread lovely. Highly recommend

Food was fantastic got delivery mixed up but quickly sort it and apologies number off time and give free wings to make it up to us other take away shops usual moan or say they chuck something in next time but never do I cant fault them there really as accidents happen but what fantastic take away shop and fantastic with customer too

Peri burgers are so good! Chicken tikka pizza was great and the free garlic bread with cheese is awesome, not dry and thin like some other places, great quality and fast delivery too :)

So happy our fave takeaway is back !! .... food great as always but some things seem to have changed slightly , are you under new management ? ... have always ordered the mr joes burger but this time it came with a cheese slice and it wasn’t a fillet chicken burger - it wasn’t a big deal as me and my partner just swapped meals and we both still thoroughly enjoyed them . If it now comes with cheese might just be worth updating the menu or giving it as an option as my partner is actually lactose intolerant . Chips taste different too , change of oil maybe ? Anyway not big deals at all , have ordered 3 times since you reopened and we will be back again !!

Best fried chicken in Wigan, get it with chips with salt and vinegar and a can of pop.

My usual order is the Vegetarian platter because it comes with everything that I love, hummus, fries, mixed veggies, baba ganoush, cheese, olives, cheese and spinach pie, grape leaves, soup (can't decide which one is my favorite so I usually alternate between the carrot and lentil on each visit), also not a fan of the tahini, so they let me sub it out for labneh, which is a minty dilly yogurty deliciousness that is great with pita, grape leaves

Good set of lads that work here, a food freshly prepared and tasty would return.

Always pop in here after a night out - cant beat those cheesy chips. Great value, I must visit place

Went and ordered a mr joes special with chilli sauce and no tomato in the salad at the shop. Was handed a kebab and some cans in a plastic bag but did not look at the order until I got home. Looks at what I’d been given and it has garlic mayo smothered all over it. Spoke to the staff on the phone and I’ve got the worst customer service ever. The mistake was the staff but was told that I had to come and pick it up, even though it was their error, costing me another £16. Asked if they could deliver and they said I was outside their delivery radius even though I was within their 3 mile radius. Advised that their manager had just arrived and then they hung up on me. Said that I had to come back into their shop and they would give me a replacement the next time I entered the shop. Worst staff ever.

This place doesn't really stand out for the food served. Standard post pub fare. Staff patient and friendly. The selection of characters that you might meet during even a short visit is probably the main attraction. A Saturday evening visit for me just to fill up. Did the job but not memorable food. Lots of tipsy customers to keep you entertained while you wait.

Fancied a kebab, called in mr joes and ordered the chicken variety. Took one bite and decided if I ate anymore I would be ill. Nothing like chicken, stale nan bread, never going back

2 years ago before the fire of 2014 this place used to be acceptable. This evening I went with with the Mrs and the special kebab was far too salty, the chicken burger was dry and the bun was stale. Mr Joe's has gone down hill..avoid at all costs because it's rubbish. Trust me

I was starving and I got some chicken wings and chicken . Really fresh and tasty chicken . Much better than Kfc . I am normally disappointed when I get this type of food but I was pleasantly surprised.
