I didn't expect this order, it really shocked me, very tasty and delicious, the dessert with ice cream and banana is great, I can only say about such delicious rice and exceptional tikka, I highly recommend this restaurant

Used this restaurant/takeaway for the past 35-40yrs & the standard of the curry is the best in South East Birmingham, friendly and welcoming atmosphere & great Staff ...whenever your in the Bordesley Green area you must try this establishment..❤

I am so disappointed with how downhill this place has gone. I used to enjoy their food. The Lamb Bombay had 4 cubes of lamb in there. Not enough for 2 people. I got 2 diff types of curries. Ofcourse the chicken karahi wasn’t made in a karahi. Both curries with the same gravy. I also added instructions for all the dishes to be made spicy and hot. No instructions were followed. Really upset

What do I say about Albella! The Lamb Tikka biryani with a helping of vegetable curry accompanying it on the side with raita has to be the best tasting! Luckily this place is local to us but it is truly a hidden gem! The food is amazing whether in or taken away and even the portions are very good! Highly recommended.

Six of us went tonight after not going for 3 years as moved to Wales. Food great as always and good value Can't wait to come back.

1 order item was missing called up restaurant saying we was lying and the person we spoke to was unreasonable

My family have been having food from this takeaway for years. I'm now 35 and remember them ordering from when I was very young and I continue to do the same. Food is exceptional. Never had a bad order ever. My partner loves it too and his extremely fussy about his curries. The tarka daal is my absolute favourite! Really is beautiful food and if they aren't open when we are having a takeaway day then we just don't order out come pots and pans lol

Lovely balti, i usually have lamb dopiaza mild but no choice for mild just hot or fairly hot on the app so a little dissapointed but great still good food

Best Lamb Balti I've eaten in a long time. Cooked perfectly and an added bonus u can request how spicy u would like, I always go for mild on this my 5th visit. Very friendly and helpful staff make u feel like ur eating at home and I always get a "Doggy Bag" as I never seem able 2 eat it all and next day warm it up and its even better.

Called to report item missing, stated ' we are closed will give next time'. Poor customer service, you should make sure you provide all food when you deliver, clearly you didn't check because you was rushing to close! Will not order from here. The tandoori biryani was very poor tasting, gave dark pieces of chicken tandoori that nobody eats and it was more rice than chicken, again this was rushed. Food was waste of money

Fantastic little restaurant. Intimate, inviting and yet boasting an extensive menu that includes practically every imaginable balti, curry and biryani dish. The epitome of top tier Bangladeshi cuisine.

Absolutely fantastic food. Polite delivery driver and came piping hot. I'm quite local to this place and it always skipped my mind when ordering. But this place is a gem 💎. The food was exceptional. Spices were cooked out well and the food was full of taste. I had the vindaloo (chicken) and it's one of the best I've had in a very very long time. The chef's special sigdi was full of flavour and bursting with contrast with each mouthful from a little sweet at first taste, but then to a little spicy. The starter chapati roll was so tasty and there was plenty of chicken in everything. Can't wait to order again. Fantastic food done well and in this cost of living crisis, extremely well price with exceptional service. A true delight to the taste buds.

Been going here for many years on and off. It's a small no frills restaurant, however the food is always delicious!! The prices have stayed low considering the cost of living. The staff have been there forever, they are polite and courteous all of the time. Worth a visit.

Meat bhuna was terrible, tasteless. Normally I order hot but the chef makes it too hot so I decided to order regular which is medium and guess what ? no spices at all,nothing basically nothing . Fear Allah , you will be gone from this world one day and you'll have to pay for it.

Mint and red sauces was not like one I had tasted before not good. Starter and mains were OK. Service was 10/10.

Amazingly fabulosa food, delivered quickly and piping hot. Great value as the portions were generous in size and enough for two people. I love the fact this resteraunt allows you to choose the level of spicy hotness at point of ordering so for me the meal was spot on. I will definitely be ordering again and cannot recommend others enough to do so too👍😊

Great tasting food, great service, can take you're own alcohol but will need to make sure its chilled before getting there. We took a few bottles of beer & champagne, unfortunately they don't have ice buckets.

I've have been using this restaurant on and off for over 10 years. I can honestly say I've never had a bad meal from them! The prices are very good for the standard of food they serve. Takeaway/delivery or eat in you will not be disappointed! Proper tikka the way it should be! I can't say my favourite dish as everything I have had I have enjoyed!

HAD Steak Alabela excellent .but sorry to say that the last 2 times the Steak has been inedible very disappointed 😱

Food arrived 10 min earlier than scheduled which was a nice surprise for a Saturday evening. Food was tasty, decent portion size. Some dishes way spicier than we’re used to., so if ordering again I’d need to specify in the instructions for it to be milder.

Will be ordering again even thou I like to dine in most of the time the food is always on point.

2 hours after ordering it arrived, when calling to chase it no apology, just it will be another half hour.

Waited just over 2 hours for this meal, and when it arrived i was extremely disappointed. Lamb was not as tender as normal, and this did not help by the fact it was cold.

The food is tasty but the curry that I ordered was a meat curry and there was just 3 pieces of meat which got me very angry everything else was nice was a shame

Been using this place for years and it never disappoints. Had the sheesh kebabs for starters and they were really good very tasty. I enjoyed my main too which was the lamb madras, packed a punch but full of flavour and meat which was lovely and tender not tough like some Indian restaurants are. My go to for an indian takeaway everytime.

They gave a complete different order, when i called and told them its wrong order, i didnt even get an apology, he said he'll get right order redelivered but to return old food. The redelivery was also late.
