Este lugar está casi siempre ocupado, al menos en el verano. El sistema funciona bastante bien, así que incluso si la fila es larga, no toma demasiado tiempo pasar. El servicio no es muy personal, te pasan de empleado en empleado y no tienes mucho tiempo para pensar en tu pedido. El helado que tuve siempre fue bueno, sin decepciones. Tienen sabores interesantes la mayor parte del tiempo.

Visité el martes para un bocado rápido de helado en el clima sorprendentemente soleado con mi novio y me sorprendió la gama de sabores. Mi servidor, Grace, pudo guiarme a través de las opciones y ayudarme a encontrar una combinación que realmente disfruté. El remolino de maracuyá fue un punto culminante! Volveré.

Des quelques glaciers aperçus dans Edimbourg, Alandas est vraiment celui qui nous a donné le plus envie. Une dizaine de parfums, une vitrine alléchante et la file d'attente qui va avec ! Préparez-vous à attendre cinq/dix minutes et vous allez être servi à la chaîne. Mais les saveurs valent un peu d'attente (le glacier a d'ailleurs été récompensé plusieurs fois pour ses produits). Pour ma part, j'ai craqué sur deux boules en pot, une Nutella Swirl (une glache neutre avec un filet de Nutella, délicat et pas bourratif) et une Lemon Cake absolument savoureuse ! Servi en pot, la glace est moins photogénique et ça semble décevoir certains consommateurs mais le goût est là et c'est bien le plus important ! Comptez 5£ pour 2 boules.

So I’m a local and go to this ice cream place quite regularly, at least every couple of weeks or more often if I have visitors. Ice cream is nice and always get the 500ml tube. However, today it was quite disappointed when I open the tube at home which was full of air….that is not the standards I’m use to on this place and felt like I was robed!!! See the pictures for reference, and absolutely robbery selling air at the price of ice cream!! Might think twice before going there again, not a happy regular customer 😕

Nothing like the real Italian gelato. Flavourless, ridiculously overpriced (9.50£ for two small cups!) and the girl with pink hair was very rude and rolled her eyes in front of everyone when I asked her for a spoon. We didn't feel welcome and would not recommend.

Walked around town and came upon this by accident, despite having it on my list of stops. The line was out the door, but moved quickly. I got the chocolate and it was very good! Loved the little waffer on top! I would stop in again for more if in Edinburgh again.

Been in this,shop many times and have to say the ice cream and customer service is excellent especially Lennon who is now been made a supervisor he deserves this position he is always smiling,happy and excellent customer service. I have been in tonight and met the owner of the company and her sister who gave me a voucher to spend in store which was very kind to them., They have many different flavours of ice cream and i especially like Belgian chocolate mixes Berry sorbet watermelon and pink Grapefruit. Look forward to trying many more soon.Keep up the excellent work and introducing more flavours of ice cream 😀👍

It's such a shame that the gelato was serviced by such an unfriendly woman. There is nothing special about the actual gelato it's mediocre. It was raining when we visited and despite so many customers eating in the shop that they don't provide a bin. I wouldn't recommend or return.

Quite simply the best hot chocolate I have ever had! The ice cream selection and flavours were also up there with the best I have had. Amazing little parlour with friendly staff and delicious treats. There is not seating so make sure you are ready to eat/drink on the go. Would recommend a visit.

Bad service- stopped in for a gelato on a Friday evening - since it was raining not too many customers. Three staff behind the counter. We received our orders and hung out inside to enjoy without the rain. When I asked the staff member what I could do with my trash - he directed me outside in the rain and down the block to a public trash can. Gelato was okay but will NOT return.

A great little stop when exploring this part of Edinburgh. The ice-cream selection is vast and it tasted great. Would definitely recommend.

Had the hot chocolate this weekend with all the trimmings on top - toasted marshmallows, wafer, chocolate shavings, cream. It was delicious, if a little big considering how rich it was.

big display of gelato with many interesting flavors. not remotely close to authentic Italian gelato, taste texture or ingredient wise. seems gelato has taken the burger- café-chippy route , multiplying outlets throughout the city.. no one comes close to Mary's Milk bar or Moo.

Lots of variety of flavours, everything from Lavender to toffee and malteaser. Flavours change regularly as well we went twice during our trip. Would recommend

Oui il y a la queue devant en pleine journée... mais soit disant meilleur glacier d'Ecosse en 2022, combien y avait-il de candidats? Parfums limités et les serveuse ne descendent pas 3 MARCHES dans la salle d'à côté pour prendre les parfums demandés. Très chers pour le service, la qualité et quantité. Si vous choisissez le pot et non le cornet, la glace est mal présentée à peine une cuillère à soupe rase comme 2ème boule . 6 £.A oui mais il n'y a pas de boule tout à la cuillère telle une spatule, pas de gaufrette non plus dessus comme pour le cornet, . On nous a refusé le paiement en espèces. Bref très déçus

Was it good? Yes. Was it great? Ummmm….. The gelato was good but I’ve tasted better. It was quite a pretentious place with an unwelcoming cashier.

其實味道不錯，而且很多款式可選。但不知道為何我賺的兩球cone比他人的略細，很不是味兒！如果員工能注意一下，顧客會開心得多！

I am a regular at this Gelato and I have always had excellent and varied ice cream at a good price. This review is following an Elder Flower variety which was sublime. Unfortunately I haven't seen it back on the menu.

Had a pistachio and espresso combo . the tastes were missing. the pistachio had what looked like pistachios on top but turned out to be candies. there was zero flavor and as a pistachio gelato Expert, this was a major waste of time and money. same, the espresso was without flavor. tasted mass produced and big disappointment. Mary's Milk Bar in the Grassmarket and Moo on St. Mary's Street though smaller with fewer flavors blow this place out of the water. sorry but not even close.

Emailed this in last week but didnt get a reply from management so decided to write my review here.. Extremely disappointed with my experience. Not only was the service beyond dismal from the start, I ordered an ice cream-shake that can unfortunately only be described as luke warm sweet milk. After much deliberation (I hate to complain) i decided £6.50 was just too much to go to waste. I go back to the shop after having had a couple of sips and explain how it tastes and ask for a refund. The girl doesn't apologise or say anything to me but walks over to her superior and explains the situation. I stand there patiently waiting for someone to talk to me, but after zero communication ( and no other customers in the shop) I decide to ask whats happening. The staff member says 'i think she's making you a new one’. No apologies later, i get handed a new shake which was much better. I am just so disappointed as it takes nothing to be polite, apologetic and kind to customers. The first thing i did when i came to complain was apologise; i could not have been nicer in the situation so i cannot stress enough how awkward and uncomfortable your colleagues made this experience for me. Ive been in to this store several times as i live close so its a shame to think i will probably not be back due to the customer service from your staff.
